"We were a Red Hat Ladies group of 5 women of a “certain age” who came to Schulenberg to see the Painted Churches. The house was the perfect place for us to stay since it is located just a short distance from the Chamber of Commerce where the tour started! Also, the house is located right across from the police department:). All five of us enjoyed the “Victorian” decor and home. "The cottage was really nice and well equipped. We were provided with everything we needed. The property is pretty, quiet and we were able to walk the trails and dirt roads. We enjoyed our time there with our two puppies. "
