Beautiful place, very relaxing. The property has EVERYTHING you might need to entertain. Extremely impress with the space. We were 17 and had plenty of space. Loved the 2 kitchens, it made it so much easier for the big group. Definitely we want to come back, totally worth it!!!

Every December our family rents a cabin for a long weekend to be together. Family affair was the best we’ve ever picked. The house is well-built, well-stocked and very clean. Since it’s winter, we did not enjoy the lake, but I can only imagine the additional fun on the water!

Our family had the most amazing vacation at Family Affair home!! There is so much space. We had more than enough space for our family. The bedrooms are all spacious. There is so much to do that we hardly ever left the house. With 2 kitchens and dining areas we had everything we needed for our family chef to do his thing. The kids had a blast playing and running around the area hiking and exploring.We will be back in the summer time and take a trip to the jumping bridge!!The double decks on the boat dock was awesome for sitting and enjoying the beautiful views!

family vacation

we enjoyed this home, house was clean and everything was in good working order. The boat dock was great for swimming and the boat slip was great to have for our boat.we would have liked for there to be a slide for the kids to enjoy. overall this home accommodated our family very well

Our family loved our stay at Family Affair! The home was clean upon arrival and stocked extremely well. Communication with the owners was fantastic they are super kind.Our family consist of 21 people including 11 children between the ages of 5and 12 and we loved having separate levels for the kids to sleep on and play in which was a huge bonus to the adults! He would give 6 stars if we could and highly recommend a stay at Family Affair!

Family Fun Vacation

The home was great and we had plenty of room for 15 of us. The lake was great and the boat dock. Everyone loved the space, pool table and games. My only issue for me and my husband was, we are both 65 and the stairs gave us a challenge, but we did it. The owners were amazing and very accommodating. We really enjoyed the home and our stay.

Perfect Getaway by the Lake!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful lakehouse! The property was spotless and well-maintained, with stunning views of the lake from every room. The spacious deck was perfect for morning coffee and evening BBQs. We loved the private dock, which made it easy to enjoy the lake. The hosts were incredibly responsive and provided great local tips. Highly recommend for a relaxing and memorable vacation!

Lake Norris friend’s trip 2024 was successful!

We really had a great time at Family Affair & are so thankful for the memories we made here with 9 couples! The owners provided literally everything you need for cooking in the kitchen(s) & it was nice to have 2 fully equipped kitchens! It also provided a beautiful view of the lake! Plenty of space for 18 adults which is what we were looking for several months ago when booking a place. The dock was super nice to have to layout & have rental boats delivered to from SugarHollow. The lake house was conveniently close to the jumping bridge & it was in a nice area/gated community which made you feel safe! Our friends had a great time & kept telling us that we wish we had stayed a day or two longer. The owner was super quick at responding & they also provided us some firewood for a bonfire that we had the night before we left. The only complaint we had from a couple was their bedroom upstairs had hair on the sheets/comforter and didn’t seem as clean as the other bedrooms. But nobody else seemed to have any issues with their bathrooms or bedrooms. The house was very clean when we arrived so I still have it 5 stars for cleanliness. Cant wait to return to Lake Norris one day! Thank you!!

This was the perfect home for our large family. The only disappointment was the fact that the pool is a community pool, not on the property. After going back to look at the listing, it does state that in the fine print but the impression was that it was on the property. The owners were always quick to respond and answer all questions. Would definitely come back here!!

Fantastic place to stay with large group

There were 30 of us ranging in ages from 1 to 70. Everyone had a great time! The house was plenty big to accommodate our group. This was by far the best equipped house we had ever stayed at. The kitchens were very well equipped and the ice machine was an awesome addition. Our teenagers loved the bunk room and all of the other bedrooms were very comfortable. The location was perfect for boating or just hanging out on the dock and swimming all day. Great time! Thanks for being great hosts. Neil

Awesome lake house!

We have 5 families stay in the house. All of us had kids of all ages from 2-14. The house is very accommodating for all ages. The house sits in a quiet cove close to several marinas. Cannot say enough great things about this house! Great two story dock for hanging out on. The hosts are awesome and very quick to reply. Great house! Highly recommend

We have stayed at a lot of Lake Norris houses over the past few years and this was the ABSOLUTE BEST!!! The house has everything you need, is in a great location and the owners are great to work with. Will definitely be staying here again.

Fully stocked everything worked no issues picked up the trash on Christmas Day when cans were full wish each room had TV's for relaxing at night when retireing to bed. Plenty of dishes pots silverware towels manager contact was excellent. Very clean. Decorated for Christmas.

Wonderful accommodations for our family get together!! Plenty of room. Very nice and clean! Do be prepared for lots of going up and down steps cause there is ALOT!😊 and very well stocked which is SO nice!
