House was very spacious. Room were nice sized and it was nice to have bed rooms on different floors where you cold separated kids from adults. View was awesome.

We had four families together for the Thanksgiving holiday and we loved every bit of our stay at the lake house. We were a bit surprised at how steep the driveway was from the road however we were able to navigate that safely and some of us just left vehicles up at the top of the hill and walked down. With eight adults and 7 teenagers, we had plenty of room to spread out, plenty of bedding, and hang out area for everyone. The views are great and the hot tub was a plus for chilly nights. There was plenty of kitchen items for our Thanksgiving meal.The host was responsive and easy to communicate with. We would love to return.

One of a kind!

Beautiful and perfect Location

We had a fantastic time at this property for the long holiday weekend. The house is gorgeous and clean with many amenities. The view is outstanding and the location is ideal. The host was very accommodating and the process was very hassle free.

Amazing vacation at beautiful lakehouse

House is perfect for large group. We had 4 couples and lots of children. Perfect accommodations for everyone. Kitchen is well stocked. We cooked every meal for a week there and were never short on any kitchen need. Dock is perfect for hanging out. Great vacation

Family time

The house was great, 2 bedrooms on each floor was wonderful for our family, aunt, cousins,siblings! The updated kitchen is beautiful, the layout works well for a large group, 2 dishwashers is brillant!

My wife and I celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary with our entire family.

The property was phenomenal. The only inconvenience we had was the walk down to the lake and the walk back up to the house. We are both seniors over 75 so whenever we went down or up one of our 3 sons or 2 grandsons had to walk with us in case we lost our balance. That was a minor inconvenience only and it did not prevent us from doing anything. It was as great a time as our family had on any of our trips and the host was as kind and informative as he could be.

Christmas vacation

The house is beautiful with gorgeous views. It is very spacious with lots of different hang out areas. We really liked the 4 master bedrooms with en suite bathroom. The kids enjoyed building a fire and making s’mores. Overall we had a really good time and enjoyed our family time.

Friends and family

We had such a wonderful stay at Blue Grotto! We loved having four master bedrooms with four king beds. The new kitchen was amazing! It has two dishwashers everything needed to cook large meals for a big group. The lake was beautiful and the views were amazing. We would definitely come back to this house.

Great property

This property is in a wonderful location and has all of the amenities you could ever need. The owners were great to communicate with. We had a toilet handle break and someone was out there the next day to repair it. Everyone on our trip loved the house and we plan on booking agin for next year.

Blue Grotto Fun

This property is just as advertised. Spacious, entertaining, relaxing, and Peaceful. The layout of the home is just perfect. The owners were very courteous and friendly. Everything needed in the kitchen was there with ample supply of kitchen utensils. We had an amazing family trip! 5 Stars from us!!! Thanks for a Great stay!!

Fun family getaway

We love the layout of the house. So much space! Having three levels was great and gave our group lots of opportunity to do the things they love - play games, ping pong, quiet reading spots, the fire pit, etc. The driveway is NO JOKE - but we did just fine, even with a little rain and snow. We would love to come back in the summer to enjoy the lake.

Amazing view of Norris Lake!

The best view of the lake from Blue Grotto, we spent many evenings on the deck. House was very clean and rooms were spacious. Perfect for our 4 families that vacation together every year. A little bit of a workout to and from the dock, which wasn’t great for our elderly parents. They actually drove to the closest marina and we picked them up by boat for the days out on the lake. So, it worked out well for everyone.

Great large home, convenient to marinas

We had an awesome week away at this property! It was easy to communicate with the property manager when an occasional question came up, and our stay was very relaxing. We rented a double kayak and paddle board from the property owner and it was a great investment for all in our group to enjoy! In the pictures, the grass backyard appeared more flat that it is, but that is really pretty normal for all lake properties. Since we brought every meal for our large group, a larger kitchen would suited our needs slightly better.

Beautiful view but far away

This property had amazing beautiful views. The house was beautiful and had what we needed to enjoy our stay there. It was a bit too remote for us though. The drive to get to all of our excursions was long. The walk down to the lake was steeper than we originally anticipated and there were people in our party that could not do it. Maybe a railing on the steps down to the dock would be helpful.

Family vacation

The house was beautiful. Lots of room for all 20 of us. The best house we’ve stayed in at Norris Lake. This was our fourth time. Views from deck were gorgeous. We spent most of our time on deck eating or playing games when we weren’t enjoying the water. s. Thought we were getting away from all the steps and would enjoy yard games but too steep. The driveway is also very steep and really can have only 5 cars as stated. As always a beautiful week with my family. Thank you to owners!!
