Sixteen Wild Women spent our 24th reunion at Southern Comfort II, and enjoyed every minute. Great areas for smaller gatherings, with enough space for us all. Kitchen was well stocked, thank you! Loved the double appliances and plentiful bathrooms. Thank you.

Great Lake house on Norris Lake

Big house right on the lake with a nice boat launch. Very well equipped, easy to swim off the dock or rent a pontoon boat nearby. We had a great time!

Great house but need to address the stairs and deck

Great house but the stair from boat house to the house seem like a hazard. The house was clean but definitely a VRBO investment property. We are used to beds being made and subtle touches to make the stay feel a little more personalized especially for the price

Family christmas

So wonderful! Gate and lock codes ahead of time and perfect. And the property is amazing! Super clean and prepared. Great views of the lake. Super stocked kitchen with crock pots and utensils. Enough room for the whole family to gather to eat and swap presents, but space to spread out and let teens hang out, the preteens play ideo games, and adults talk and catch up. Excellent stay!

Perfect Family Getaway at Norris Lake!

We had an amazing family vacation at this house on Norris Lake! The house was incredibly clean, well-stocked, and offered plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy. The location was perfect, in a great cove with beautiful landscapes. The owner was very accessible and promptly helped us with minor issues. This is our second stay in this home and it was requested by my kids. Highly recommend this place for a perfect family getaway!

Reunion

With 27 persons of all ages, this home was perfect ! Plenty of room to spread out, and great location. We brought one boat and rented another, plenty of room to dock, and the dock became the activity hub ! Owner contact is superior and every step of the rental process from agreement to check out was explained in advance.

Quiet Cove

Beautiful location. Great for large families. Minimal boat traffic. Large open kitchen for large family to sit and enjoy breakfast. Great view of water from upper deck. Our family really enjoyed our time at this house. Great host. Had a hicup with outdoor receptacles. But notify owner of problem. So the next renters will have power close to the dock. Manager also does a great job of helping with any issues.

Spacious property

Lots of room in the spacious and very well equipped kitchen for a large family to cook, eat, and hang out. The kids loved the 2-level dock to jump, and slide from. Bedrooms were nice size, as were the bathrooms. Very quiet and peaceful atmosphere. Perfect for a large family to enjoy being together. Would definitely recommend this area for family celebrations and vacations.

Family Reunion

We all had an awesome time. Loved the house, The view was beautiful. Loved the gas grill. It was perfect for the size of our group! We grilled out every night. The fire pit was fun. A lot of steps down to the dock but took my time and it was fine. We rented a boat and the lake was beautiful. Swimming was great off the dock and paddle boat was fun! The host was responsive to all my questions. The cleaning crew was very friendly and house was neat and clean. The kitchen was wonderful with all the appliances. Plenty of seating. I would recommend this Lakehouse and would love to come back again in the future. Thank you!

Board game retreat

The Lake house was a great place for our group to spend five days playing board games and catching up. The bedrooms, bathrooms are very nice, Kitchen is well equipped, Deck, Hot Tub, Game room and living areas are all comfortable and well maintained. A great place for large groups. We would defiantly rent again.

3 Generation Christmas Gathering

This house was perfect for our 4 day gathering. The main floor had a wonderful master suite that was perfect for our elderly parents, keeping them in the middle of the main activities happening in the large, open gathering area with comfy sofas and three large dining tables for eating and game playing. The kitchen had everything we needed for all the meals we cooked while there. Crock pots, casseroles, blenders, all sizes of pots and pans and bake sheets. Two fridges held all our food, but we really loved having the two dishwashers, with plenty of plates, glasses and silverware for our crew to use. The house was clean, the beds were comfy, with extra blankets and pillows everywhere. Water pressure was great, and the tankless heater provided hot water for everyone’s showers. Three floors offered private sleeping and hiding spots with comfy couches for different age groups to gather. Good directions made this place easy to find and we had parking for all 4 vehicles close to the house. LaFollette has good grocery stores and food options, as well as good thrift store shopping. The blue tooth speakers worked well with our devices and music apps for holiday tunes and kitchen dance parties. One tiny issue with one TV was fixed promptly by our responsive host. Everybody was very happy with our stay, we would be happy to stay here again. I can only imagine the extra fun a summer stay would offer with the water right out back.

Great time had by all!

This was our first time at Norris Lake, but it will not be our last—we’re hooked! This house had plenty of space for our group of 18 to be together when we wanted to or spread out when we wanted to… The kitchen had plenty of room for everyone to have a chair (not always the case with large house groups), and the 2 fridges/dishwashers were very helpful. We loved having a dedicated ice maker too! Bedrooms were comfy and the hot tub got rave reviews. The wakeless cove and dock were perfect for all ages in our group to slide, swim, float, or kayak. Be prepared for a VERY steep driveway and lots of stairs between the house and the lake, but no problem as long as you know that going into it. Can’t wait to come back!

Family Reunion 2023

Great large lake home! We rented a boat and Jet ski for our stay. Everyone enjoyed the water, dock, decks, kayaks and rafts. This was our family reunion which ranged from 72 to 12 years of age. Us older folks would get on the boat at one of the marinas so we didn’t have to do the steps down. Also….don’t let the driveway scare you…..go slow down and low gear up…..we never had an issue. Would certainly return!
