We didn't want to leave...

From the view to the amenities to the communication and personal touches so thoughtfully included by Mireya and Luke, this home will make your trip. Wake up to a view of the Bay, and enjoy a location close to the beach but away from Punta Mita town center so that you feel a bit less touristy and more relaxed. We LOVED the filtered water dispenser - it was incredible, stood out from all of the other places we stayed during our 2-month stay in Mexico, and made our stay so nice! Loved the thoughtful touches like big beach towels and wine opener and glasses and cooking tools. Luke and Mireya were also so wonderful and incredibly responsive with checkin details, recommendations on everything from restaurants and beaches to where to find an ATM. The infinity pools and gyn on the property, the nearby beach club and public beach, and the bus stop right out front (that takes you right to Punta Mita], Bucerias, and/or Puerto Vallara) all made our stay perfection. We hope to return soon ;)

Beautiful property - extremely spacious unit with amazing ocean view. Good exercise walking up hill to the building . Exceeded our expectations in so many ways . Highly recommend.

The condo was comfortable and functional. The area was relaxing. Mireya and Luke were extremely responsive to our questions.We wish that we would have had a little cooler to take to the pool but it is a short walk to the room to get more supplies!We did not have a car but did Uber into Bucerias for groceries (20CAD) and to/from the airport (40CAD). Walking the steep hill to the condo is challenging, if you have a disability, renting a car or golf cart would be good. The Alamar grounds are very well kept. The Jungle Pool was beautiful. Lots of friendly Canadians around the whole areaThe beach is less than a 10 minute walk from the condo, food at the restaurant was ok. The pool area was really nice, you can bring your own drinks and food or you can order. You can have a great walk along the entire beach front, not just the private Alamar Beach area.La Cruz Hunacasxtle is about a 20-25 minute walk from the condo. We felt very safe walking the whole area, even after dark…just make sure you have a flash light for the walk back.There are many good restaurants to choose from. For the most part, we used our credit card. We did have a couple issues with the card not being able to be processed so having back up cash is a good plan. Good bars, good music, lots of fun!From the condo deck, we watched the whales breach, wish we would have had some little binoculars so see better. We did not tour around, just discovered La Cruz and had lots of pool time! It was great!

We had a wonderful month of November in this comfortable studio with an outstanding deck and view. The facilities at Alamar are great and the community was very welcoming. The hosts were very prompt with any questions or concerns. La Cruz is a lovely small town with just enough amenities for your needs. We did not rent a car and walked into town and rode the buses to go to Bucerias or beyond.

Just what we wanted

Clean, private place, close to the beach. The club amenities were key. Not very busy, good coffee and breakfast nearby, parking was easy.. Loved it.

La Cruz condo

We enjoyed our stay very much, the grounds are perfect, the condo is very comfortable but could use a table and chair in addition to the couch in the living room. The beach club is to die for and the front gate guys are so helpful, I highly recommend.

Apartment with a view

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment.We enjoyed spending our evenings sitting on the very big ,comfy chairs on the Balcony.The view is amazing.Looking out across the ocean to the bay and Puerto Vallarta . The apartment is spacious for two people..It has a well equipped kitchen.Every detail thought of. The wardrobe has lots of hanging space for clothes and drawers as does the bathroom too. The king size bed was very comfortable.We both had a great nights sleep every night. We were the only people at the pool next to our apartment tower most of the time.It was like having our own private pool. We also visited the beach pool often.Just a short walk away.A pretty steep hill down from tower to security gate.It was fine for us walking back up the hill but could be a problem if you do have mobility issues. Beach pool was never busy.Waiters ready to serve you drinks and food but not a worry if you take your own.Your choice.If you do decide to eat there the food is very good and the waiters are so nice. In fact all the Staff are very friendly and helpful. We have never been in pools that are not freezing cold before so this was a plus.The sea was nice and warm too. All in all we highly recommend a stay at this beautiful place.We certainly will be back in the future. Thank you Luke,Mireya and Roxana for answering us quickly when we needed questions answered.

Modern Condo with a Beautiful View

Great modern spacious condo with a beautiful view of Banderas Bay and mountains in the daytime and twinkling lights of Nuevo Vallarta across the bay in the evening! Nice modern condo, comfortable bed, modern appliances, very clean! Quiet building & excellent internet connection. Beach Club was great, nice pools and beach with restaurant service! We really enjoyed our stay & Luke & Mireya were great to deal with and very helpful!

Great Place

Loved the place and the area. Place is spacious and was very clean when we got there. Great view of the ocean from deck. Might want to get a small table and 2 chairs for deck so you could eat out there, but lounge chair was comfy to sit and have morning coffee. Pool is great and never busy as is beach club. Easy and quick communication with hosts if needed. We would definately stay here again.

Not as advertised and uncomfortable

I am sorry to have to give this property a 3 star but it was not as advertised. The pictures are NOT of the unit as it is today. The kitchen table and chairs are gone and an island is in its place with two uncomfortable bar stools. Couldn’t sit there very long. We enjoy playing games but there was nowhere to do that. The sofa and ottoman is changed and there is no where to put your feet up or an end table for a drink. It is replaced with a love seat. The upgraded kitchen still has the old stove and fridge. It did work though. The unit had a lounger on the deck but no chair or table to enjoy coffee or anything. The bed was extremely hard. My husband was ok with it but I had to sleep on the love seat. Unfortunately, the unit only had one blanket and a small throw. It was an uncomfortable unit to stay in. The best thing was the view. The owners were very nice but the unit could use help.

Quaint Studio

Very large and clean studio! Lots of room for 2 people. Gorgeous view of Banderas Bay! The private beach is beautiful, but a 10 minute walk up and down a large hill!

2022 trip to la cruz

We spent 9 nights in this property and really had a great time. Nice ocean view and we were able to see the whales from our room. The studio was very spacious and had everything you needed. Lots of room to cook if you wanted or there are lots of restaurants within walking distance or a short taxi ( there are not many street lights when walking home at night so just be aware- we had no issues with safety but just something to know) We tried out a lot of the favourites that were recommended by the long term guests we met. Tacos on the street, la Cruz inn, treehouse, falconis, casa hull - all great!! The property sits on a hill so be aware if you have mobility issues as it is a bit of a hike up. We had no issues with it but something to consider. There are two nice pools at the property and then about a 10 minute walk down the hill and across the road is the beach club. The hosts were great and very accommodating!! We would defiantly stay again
