Perfect Getaway Location

We very much enjoyed our stay at Larry's and Luann's VRBO apartment. It had everything we needed, was extremely clean and very comfortable. Larry and Luann are great hosts - very responsive and very accommodating. We would highly recommend this property!

Perfect Getaway

What a lovely apartment in the countryside! The kitchen is fully stocked with all the essentials and then some, making it super easy to relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere while staying in.

Wonderful place!

We biked the Elroy Sparta Bike trail. Great location for that in an absolute beautiful location! Very clean and 2 nice bathrooms. Would stay again for sure!

Quiet, clean, beautiful, friendly

We're regulars -- meaning about once a year for the past five or six years. It's always a great place. Very quiet, beautiful country setting, perched up on a hill. Apartment is clean, fully equipped, with handsomely designed and uniquely crafted woodwork and furniture. Larry and Lu are gracious, respectful and accomplished people, and have always made us feel at home. We'll be back!

Awesome stay!

We needed a place to stay for an event in La Crosse and this place was perfect. Very clean, had everything you would need - including coffee! Beds were comfortable and Larry was friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again!

Quiet & Relaxing

Our stay was comfortable. The space was just right for our family. Everything we needed was supplied. Larry greeted us upon arrival and gave us all the info we needed. Sure wish we could have fit a night sitting by the fire outside into our schedule. Would definitely stay here again.

Apartment was even better than pictured and described! Had anything you'd need and if did not the hosts were available to help. Lovely view from spacious apartment and had a great selection of brochures for local restaurants and attractions. Would definitely stay again if in the area!

An excellent place to stay

Our stay was six weeks long, from July 1st to August 15th, Lu and Larry were great, they even gave us fresh veggies from their garden. The apartment has a wonderful view of the valley, farmland and mountains. Quiet, clean, well-stocked and comfortable. If we could leave a ten-star review, we would. when we return to Sparta, Wisconsin we will stay here again. A perfect vacation!

mini vacation

My sister and I stayed for 3 nights at the property. My parents live close by and so we were able to find this great spot that offers more of a "homey" stay instead of a hotel. Plus--we like to support local businesses more than "big name" businesses. Staying out in the country was very relaxing and we took in a nice walk through the local farmland. Relaxing! The kitchen is nicely stocked with cooking utensils, etc. and we were able to cook up an Easter dinner and take it over to our parents. We would definitely stay again!

Well-designed and equipped apartment with excellent hosts!

We will look forward to returning to this property for future bike trips in the Sparta area. We didn't need anything that wasn't there and found the place perfect for three women looking to reconnect. Beautiful location, enough restaurants nearby, and the bike trail is second to none for amateurs like us. Enjoyed touring the hosts' on-site business, "Used Anew."

Nice, Quiet Getaway

I was looking for a quiet spot for my family of four to get away and celebrate our daughter's 3rd birthday. This was a good spot for us to play games, prepare food together, and relax. Larry supplied us with a DVD player to use, and that made my kids really happy that they got to watch the Paw Patrol movie that my 3 yr old had just received as a gift from us. Larry and Lou also gave us half a dozen ears of corn to enjoy! Very kind people. The apartment was very up-to-date, kitchen was well stocked, and the price per night for a place with a jetted tub is probably the best around. We would recommend this place for any small group.
