Near the Kyoto Imperial Palace. Clean and big rooms. Comfortable beds. The breakfast buffet was really good. We left our luggage at the hotel until check-in. It was very convenient.

Excelente, como siempre.
Cumple las espectativas, el personal es amable y el hotel está muy limpio. Mi única objeción es el nivel de inglés, que, aunque por encima de la media en Japón, necesita mejorar.

The property was excellent. The only thing that bothered me was that I could very clearly hear the room above ours. They weren't being exceptionally loud; but I could hear them walking around, moving furniture etc. I am an extremely light sleeper so this probably bothered me more than most. It was just strange as I haven't experienced this at any of our other hotels. But apart from that it was excellent! I'd definitely recommend making use of the free shuttle bus from the hotel to the nearby train station.

Property is truly 5 star . Great service, quality, and amenities. The only thing that is bothersome is that all restaurants required a reservation, including the buffet. And those reservations had to be made in person. Also, prices for food, were much higher than comparable restaurants.

A Return to Excellence: The Kyoto Brighton Hotel Experience In 2016, we had the pleasure of staying at the Kyoto Brighton Hotel, and our experience was so memorable that we chose to return in April 2024. Nestled in a serene residential area, the hotel is a stone’s throw away from the historic Kyoto Gosho and a myriad of quaint temples and shrines. Iconic landmarks such as Nijo-jo, Kinkaku-ji, and Ryoan-ji are just a short bus, subway, or taxi ride away. The hotel offers first-class hospitality and services at an incredibly reasonable price. The staff, always courteous, greeted us with warm smiles each time we returned to the hotel. Their personalized service was so exceptional that some staff members even remembered us by name, making us feel like their most valued guests. We have had the opportunity to stay at various high-end hotels in the past, including during our recent trip. However, the Kyoto Brighton Hotel stands out with its ability to provide the same level of luxury in terms of amenities, restaurants, rooms, and services. In conclusion, the Kyoto Brighton Hotel is not just a place to stay; it’s a place to return to, a place that feels like home away from home."

運良く、誕生日にコーナーダブルが予約できましたので、自身へのプレゼントとして宿泊させていただきました。 お部屋は広く、清掃が行き届いていましたし、バルコニーから見える大文字も京都気分を高めてくれました。 お風呂も大きくて、ゆったり入ることができました。お部屋に備えてあるお茶やコーヒー、茶器、アメニティいずれも種類が豊富で素晴らしかったです。 ロビーの吹き抜けの雰囲気も朝ごはんも大満足で、良い思い出となりました。 インバウンドで宿泊費が高騰しており、立地が良いビジネスホテルだと、ブライトンホテルさん同等か以上の料金設定のところもあります。しかしながら、比べ物にならない接客の質を感じました(そもそも比べること自体が失礼なのでしょうが)。皆さん、とてもよく目配りされていました。 一つ欲を言えば、チェックイン、アウトとも必要最小限の事務的な会話しかなく、ビジネスライクな印象を受けました。もう少しフレンドリーな対応ですと、私の中ではパーフェクトでした。 でも、大変素晴らしいホテルだと思います。京都には年に何回か行きますので、是非また利用させていただきます。

Very pleasant stay. Excellent cleanliness and food. Calm, great room with nice view. Compact temperature and airco with no complaints perfect bathroom conditions Small improvement needed with counseling guests at the desk. The desk staff were unable to find the quickest and easiest transportation to Kansai airport.

It was a nice little spot they have amazing customer services as well. The location is right next to the imperial castle which is very convenient. I would stay here again.

A really good hotel! Service was good and the rooms were nice. It’s not anywhere near Kyoto central but we made use of the free shuttle bus to and from Karasuma Oike station (Exit 2).

全てに渡りとても充実したホテルで、満足です。 コーナースイートでしたが、テラスで飲むコーヒーはとても美味しかったです。 ただ、周辺の街並みは少し暗く、閉店も早かったので、歩いて楽しむことはできなかったので、残念でした。もう少し街中だとパーフェクトでした。

このホテルはスタッフの方の対応もとても親切で、設備も新しくて清潔で、言うことありません。満点です。今回2回目でしたが、1度目も同じくとても良かったので、リピしました。車が停められるので京都の高い駐車場に停めずに済みます。近くの地下鉄の駅まで（御池駅）シャトルバスが２０分間隔であるので、それも便利で助かります。朝食もとてもとても美味しかったです。京都に行く際には必ず利用したいと思います。

Amenities and staff were lovely at this property. We felt very comfortable during our stay and appreciated all of the extras included in our room. The free shuttle was an added bonus. Would recommend and would stay here again.

綺麗で掃除が行き届いていました。お部屋でコーヒーやお茶、抹茶まで楽しめるように種類は豊富。 使いませんでしたが、アメニティにフェイスマスクや休疲れた足に貼る足時間？みたいなものがありました。 少し残念なのは多国籍の方の宿泊が多い為か、朝食のラウンジでは朝からキツイ香水の匂いで気分が悪くなってしまいました。朝食に和食もあったら良かったです。

Kyoto Brighton is an elegant property. The staff is extremely helpful and polite. The vaulted ceiling in the hotel interior (6 floors high) gives an open feel and the lounge on the ground floor serves excellent desserts and beverages. Parking is easy and you are in walking distance from the Kyoto Imperial Palace and many delightful restaurants. We highly recommend this hotel.
