Our family had a wonderful weekend at this beautiful property. The homeowners have obviously put a LOT of great work into updating the 120 year old house and in turn have created a fabulous balance of a warm historical farmhouse vibe with all the comforts of a modern living space. The many bathrooms are updated with neat, clean tilework and plenty of natural lighting. The first floor offers high ceilings and a smooth open flow from the spacious kitchen all the way through to the dining area and the living/game room, perfect for large family gatherings.I really appreciated the availability of king suites on both of the floors offering options to guests that may have trouble with climbing stairs. The second floor offers three different bedroom options, and two full bathrooms, perfect for traveling with children or multiple families. And while I did not see it in their listing, as a guest traveling with a toddler I was quite impressed with their toddler-friendly amenities. They had a full-sized high chair, a new pack-and-play, a basket of toys, puzzles, and books, and two booster seats. All the provided amenities were clean and new and I enjoyed this thoughtful addition. And finally, the location is absolutely perfect for any group looking for a quiet, country getaway. Every window shares a gorgeous view of Pennsylvania's natural beauty and complements the immersive hideaway vibe while still being only ten minutes from a major grocery store and local restaurants.

PA Ladies weekend

We had an awesome experience at the house. It was comfortable, we had everthing we needed in the kitchen and was very clean and well maintained. Check in process was easy and manager was easily available for questions.

Visiting Area for Family Wedding

House was clean and well equipped. We all enjoyed our stay and visit to the area. My only negative comment is that clothing rods were missing in the closets. Thank you for the well maintained house that was large enough to accommodate 8 adults, 1 toddler and a family dog.

Gorgeous home in a terrific location

We stayed for a long weekend with our family of six and another family of four. The home was immaculate and everything as promised. The kids had a great time at local attractions and playing in the grass field next to the home. Secluded and private location. Can't beat it.

Clean and cozy place to stay.

We had a great time in a clean and quiet place. One thing I would like to point out is that there was almost empty bottle shampoo provided in the bathroom. Therefore, we had to rotate the shampoo in the bathroom to use it, which was a bit inconvenient.

Worked out very well for us.

- Code didn't work on the door by the driveway when we arrived, where one parks and at the end of the sidewalk leading from there to the door. EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING after a long drive. Were told the code was only installed on the "front" door, which is inconveniently located, at best, and would never be used by anyone. - There are no clothes rods nor any shelves in any of the closets. Just an empty space, with closet doors. Hmmm. - There are no bath mats in any of the bathrooms. Could be considered a safety issue. - The lawn was over 6" in most areas - not mowed. Like they weren't expecting anyone's arrival. - Sitting area could use more and more comfortable seating. It's a bit inadequate for a 5 BR house. - The whole place seems recently renovated, very nicely done. Clean and new. - Great, large kitchen. - BRs and bathrooms are nice. - In the end this place worked out great for us, and given a few issues, the property manager was very responsive! - We noticed after we reserved the price for immediately before and after our visit was significantly reduced from our rate. We questioned this and received no price break - which is their right. Any consideration would have been appreciated. - All in all a very nice place with a few minor (frustrating!) issues to overcome.

Wonderful Stay!

My friends and I had a lovely stay at this house. The home looked just like the pictures. It was clean, peaceful, and comfortable. We recommend staying here. The communication between myself and the homeowner was seamless, and we felt welcomed. It's in a great location; it feels removed but is close to cute antique shops and stores.
