Not recommended
There is no check in desk or indeed anyone to handle check in - after a run around between buildings finally found someone who provided a phone number to get some agent to turn up with a key card and take a deposit. Rooms are NOT part of the hotel chain but are old, very worn out and dilapidated private apartments under management. Internet promised as free did not work the entire trip - help was promised which never eventuated and phones were turned off for the entire period. Check out was even worse - forget trying to check out before 10:30 if you want to get your deposit back .... nobody around and phones turned off. Forget any form of assistance from the hotel team at the shared lobby ... I moved out after the first night across the road to a proper hotel.

No room available
Was told they did not have any rooms when I arrived despite having paid on Expedia. Was arranged another lousier room nearby at Taragon Suites and no compensation was made for the difference.

Awful Service
Didn't get clean towels and new toilet paper first four days. Then fifth day received one new clean towel instead of two. Had to beg housekeeping service from another hotel service for toilet paper. Some days there were no hot water. Amenities included room safe, but didn't work and agent didn't fix. Called him numerous times for my issues and he promised to deal with them immediately, but never any follow through until days later. I did not get what I paid for. Just awful...

TV and clock not working, toilets jammed
I book 2 rooms in 2 units, but given two rooms with bad condition , and l unit of two rooms with no service. No refund is adjusted

Close to shopping mall
Check in process was the worst experience we have ever had, no desk just a man waiting with our room cards, was asked to hand over money for room keys and because I asked for a receipt had to walk to opposite side of shopping mall and up 6 floors, booked multiple rooms and they were all on different floors that we couldn't access and no phone to communicate between rooms, rooms and the floors smelt very badly of cigarettes, not good when you have children- I was disgusted by this and also had headaches from the smell, the layout of the room was great and very spacious but we wouldn't book again because of the previously mentioned concerns- we were very happy when our stay was over which isn't what you want when you are on holidays

Great location to nearest train station.
Had to wait outside for agent to bring guess into lobby. No one to attend to.
Requested bed types and actual are different.
Given two towels for three guests. Requested for extra but never replenished at all.

The stay is generally fair to good. The aircon was not cold. And it was noisy at time. But the location is good because it near the shopping belt of KL.

Worst.
We rent 3 Tripple rooms. We came early morning and wish to leave our luggage before check in, but they have no check in counter, so we have to call the apt owner and wait outside the lobby for 3.5 hours just to leave our luggage. As no sitting area, we have to wait outside the lobby, sit on the floor like bums. This is the worst experience I ever had staying in hotel. The room is standard with extra mattress without bed sheet nor blanket, only dirty pillows without pillow's cover, though actually we rent Tripple rooms, we finally sleep together on 1 king size bed.

Property not that clean...there were small cockroaches in the bathroom... check in was delayed by 30mins. Deposit required for key was not mentioned.

Ideale ligging.
Het hotel ligt in de gouden driehoek van Kuala Lumpur en je kan vanuit je Hotel lopend de Petronas twintowers bezoeken. De monorail stopt direct voor de deur dus ideaal om uitstapjes te maken.

Karim, the Legend
We were fortunately lucky to have Karim who waited for us to arrive, to hand over the cards, we were over an hour late due to our flight being delayed an hour. We also had to leave at 5.30 in the morning and he was there to refund our deposit when we handed him back the swipe cards. We had no problems and enjoyed the privacy of not having to hand back the keys every time we left our room.

Didn't stay, checked in and straight back out again!
Don't do it to yourself! Many awesome hotels in the area, NOT THIS ONE!
We were even left a massive s#@t in the toilet from previous guest, and this was after the cleaners went in!
Checked four different rooms before deciding to just leave, power points hanging by the wires, doors tied shut because broken, mould, holes in ceiling, badly stained carpet, broken bed (in two rooms)
I have stayed in many places over many years, not expensive hotels but this place takes the prize for the first time I have walked out. YUK!

Need Improvement
Didnt have a great start when we arrived. The contact number given on the confirmation voucher print out was wrong.
We wasted so much time and money trying to get through the phone number given. Finally a lady answered the phone and said that its a wrong number.
We asked the security guard at the service apartment lobby and were told to go the 6th flr office to look for help. From the 6th flr we were then referred to the 15th floor office. From the 15th floor we were told to go back to the ground floor service apartment lobby to check with the guard there which we had started when we first arrived. We went up and down round and round asking for help and finally found the service apartment maintenance dept on the 15th flr who happen to know the agent and gave him a call. He confirmed that the tel number was incorrect.
The service apartment is at a good location. However the hotel room condition is very poor and run down. The furniture very old and the bedsheets and towel stained.
We've asked for 1 extra pillow and it didnt arrived. I had to ring and text the agent a few times to remind him to give us the wifi password. By the time we received the wifi password it was already very late in the night and the whole day already gone.
Lots of improvement needed.

Disappointed Stayed at Kuala Lumpur Hotel
Very disappointed. On the 1st day we are shocked the room that we booked is not available and we are posted to other hotel. Our planned vacation already been disorganised.

The security service is not helpful.The room tv/hifi/furniture is old and damaged. Good thing is easy access to mall and swimming pool and i love the most is jojobaspa for their service.The management staff called MrNarim is helpful.

Location, location, location
Check in process is confusing as no actual reception but the security guard was happy to call the agent. Agent advised me the price I paid was an error and the booking should have been cancelled, but as we were there and it was not his or our error be would honour the booking. The room class I booked was not available and we were updated to a 2 bedroom suite for the first night and then moved to our superior room for the remaining 3 nights. Room was clean but in near of some overall general maintenance. Everything worked though, just needed a general fresh coat of paint, replacement of some screws etc. I have stayed in similar apartments in the past and the main reason I choose them is their location. Huge shopping centre on the bottom 7 floors open till 10pm every night. EVERYTHING you need in one spot. Many restaurants, bowling alley, theme park, archery centre, movie theatre and of course lots and lots of shopping. Monorail at the front door. Overall, I would stay at Best Suites again if the price was right.
