We had an amazing 2 week stay at Villa Trepanier. As advertised, the villa was oceanfront (there is a one way road b/w villa and shoreline) with amazing views & sunsets. Edithe (owner) was responsive and helpful with our booking and early questions. Our local host Pierre met us at the villa on arrival and was tremendous!! Always friendly, immediately responsive answering any and all questions throughout our stay! We did have an issue which could have been a problem, but he had it taken care of almost immediately. The Villa was clean, simply but efficiently appointed with comfortable furniture and beds. There was excellent snorkeling right out the front door and for divers, dunk tanks right at the home to rinse / clean gear. Overall, very nice villa, in an excellent location (was literally 8 min walk into town!), with a pleasant responsive owner and tremedous local host!! We will certainly try to stay here again on our next trip to Bonaire!!

Five-Star Stay in Paradise! We had an unforgettable experience at this stunning VRBO rental in Bonaire. The location was absolutely perfect—just minutes from the heart of Kralendijk, yet tucked away enough to enjoy peace and privacy. Whether we were heading out for a dive, grabbing dinner in town, or exploring the island, everything was incredibly convenient.The view from the property was nothing short of spectacular. Each morning we woke up to the shimmering turquoise waters of the Caribbean and ended our days with breathtaking sunsets right from the patio. The outdoor space was ideal for relaxing with a drink, reading a book, or simply soaking in the scenery.Inside, the home was beautifully maintained and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. The hosts clearly care about their guests’ comfort, and it showed in every detail—from the cozy furnishings to the well-stocked kitchen.We can’t wait return!

Wouldn’t Change a Thing

Our stay at Villa Trepanier was exceptional, from the moment we arrived with direct service from our property manager. The location was ideal directly across from the beach with beautiful sunsets, and easy access to the town center. This villabhad all the amenities we needed inside and out, and it was extremely comfortable with a spacious open layout and natural lighting. All the beds and seating were very comfortable, and the kitchen was well supplied for all of our cooking needs. We wouldn’t change a thing, as this lovely villa greatly contributed to one of our best vacations ever.

Villa Trepanier

This was our 6th trip to Bonaire. We've stayed at condos and some very nice houses. Vila Trepanier stands out for it's close in location and on the water. The house is well appointed and provided coffee and some goodies which are always appreciated when one arrives too late to go shopping on day one. The property manager Pierre also stocked the refer with a few breakfast items at our request. As divers, the close proximity of the Dive Friends shop was really nice. Hard to beat the view out the front door!

It was good

This is our 6th trip to Bonaire. My husband & I took 2 new divers with us & we needed a bigger place than our normal rental. I chose this unit based on size & location. Overall, it was fine. The unit was clean, open & bright. It is on ocean front & a 15-min walk to town. All appliances worked & there were plenty of pots, pans, dishes, condiments, etc. Furniture was fine & TVs/internet worked. VRBO description says “washer & dryer” but there was no dryer. Easy walk to Yellow Submarine dive site. However, I was disappointed to be told on arrival that we were limited to a certain power. I understand conserving energy & had there been a request when we arrived, or signage in the unit, asking us to conserve energy we would've complied. But we were told we had to use "less than 300" per the meter or get charged extra (after already paying a lot for this rental for a week). Sadly, I developed an ear infection & couldn't dive the 2nd half of the week, so I was in the unit much of the day while the rest of my party was out diving. We came in just under 300 - but we were militant about turning off the AC & lights. I often sat in the heat while the other divers were away. It took away from our fun.Also, though we liked being able to walk to town, we didn’t like being on the main street with so much traffic & noise. The gardens were beautiful, but we couldn’t see the ocean or sunset from the unit & had to cross the street & sit on the wall, which wasn’t super relaxing.

Terrific home away from home in Bonaire!

We absolutely loved our two-week stay in Villa Trepanier! If you have a family of four, it's a terrific size. My wife and I had our own bedroom, and each of our kids did, as well, which made life nice for the extended trip ;) The location is excellent! It's right on the main waterfront street where you can easily walk down to the restaurants and shops. We did this most nights after 6 or so when the breeze kicks in and makes it a very pleasant stroll :) You can literally just walk across the little street, and dive or snorkel and see tons of fish which we did, as well. Pierre, the property manager, was very responsive, and did a terrific job throughout our stay! Edithe, the owner, also is excellent with communication, and making sure your stay goes smoothly! I highly recommend this property!!!

Beautiful Bonaire

The villa was everything we had hoped it would be.. beautiful view of the ocean with just steps there, furnishing were ideal, fully equipped kitchen, clean and rinse stations with outdoor locker, walkable distance into town and Pierre was very helpful and available to us.

All 5* this property is just the best there is on Bonaire for a group of 4 to 6 person We had an excellent stay great communication with the owner and superbe service by the manager Pierre, no issue while we were here, he gave us great tips on dive sites and restaurants. We return soon to villa trepanier !

Very Nice Apartment in Bonaire

The VRBO is in a great location, right across from the water, near a dive shop, and in walking distance to the restaurants and downtown. The outside area to clean dive equipment and the locked storage area to hang dry the equipment was awesome. The sitting area and dining table were an excellent place for us to hang out and play games. The kitchen is well appointed with plenty of dishes and other necessities. Pierre (the property manager) was extremely helpful, met us to check in after we landed, and provided really useful information about completing forms in advance of arrival. The only negatives are - the second bedroom lighting was minimal and it was difficult to see in the evening/night in that room. We were surprised that there is a charge for power (over a certain amount), but we did not exceed it during our stay as we ensured that the a/c was off when we left the apartment each day. Overall, the apartment was very nice and we would stay again if we go back to Bonaire.

Well above expectations & unmatcher location, just perfect !

Excellent stay, excellent location we had a perfect trip, the villa was above expectation and on the ocean. the communication with the owner prior to arrival and with the manager Pierre upon arrival,was an easy and friendly process. A great experience from day one.This villa is very zen, large and well design. We where 4 in our party so the extra room was used for storage, new tv’s where added. Airco in all bedrooms and living space. We are coming back to this villa next year!

The perfect villa, above expectation !

So much good to say: the communication with the owner was efficient, cordial & quick. The villa is very well located and close to everything. We got a 10% discount at dive friends yellow sub next door, very convenient for part of our group of divers. The others in our family were very pleased with the snorkling just in front. There was a king size bed in the master bedroom and a new smart TV in the main large living room plus 2 other TV in the 2 large bedrooms, a new patio set too, something that got added before we arrived. The welcome basket and all the spices, oil, coffee etc.. and well stocked kitchen, is very apprreciated when you arrive from a long trip. This house is definitly very confortable, convenient, large and the manager Pierre, is always ready to help if need be. We will return to this beautiful villa, as this is the best one we found on Bonaire.

A nice place to stay

Lots of living space. Easy walk to down town. Nice to be very close to Yellow Submarine if you are a diver. Ad says there is a 10% discount coupon for YS but we never got one. The pictures show the out door furniture with different covers on the chairs so you might think there is more furniture out front than there is. And one chair is missing that is in the pictures. There were some issues with items like AC but were quickly attended to. The snorkeling our front just across the street is very nice.

Great location!

One diver and 5 snorkelers. Great location, right next to yellow submarine dive shop. The diver did shore dives every day on the reef in front of the property. A short 10 minute walk to town meant that we all walked to dinner most nights. Easy parking and easy access to other activities (boat rental just 3 min drive away for eg). Highly recommend!

Best location on Bonaire

Walking distance to town, several shore dives, a great dive shop, and with an amazing view of Klein Bonaire, the Villa offers comfortable accommodations with a great kitchen and patio, comfy sofa, and room to spread out for an extended stay on beautiful Bonaire. The house managers - Tina & Jason - are beyond hospitable with tips and insights that help first time visitors quickly get the hang of the island’s quirks. Truly loved this stay!!

Fantastic Villa

Great experience staying at the villa. The place is spacious with large rooms and a large living room. Beautiful view from inside and outside the villa, ocean front, in a quiet neighborhood. Walking distance from the center of the city, shops, restaurants and bars. For those enjoying scuba diving, the Dive Friends Yellow Submarine is just next door.

Great location & Diver friendly

As divers we look for ocean front property with direct access to great shore diving site's, this fit our needs nicely. The living area is open and spacious with plenty of light and room enough for 4-6 guests to have their own space. There are two large tables in the living area which allowed for separate photo work table setup and dining, perfect! Two of the bedrooms are nicely appointed. While the 3rd bedroom is a little small it would work nicely for children. The kitchen has a good selection of dishes, utensils, pots and pans to cook for 4-6 people. The property is situated right along the water front for enjoying beautiful sunsets. While the one way road runs between property and ocean traffic is limited in this area and noise was not a problem during the day or night. It’s also centrally located with an easy walk to nice restaurants or grocery shopping not far away. Try the food truck just south for local breakfast or enjoy fresh fish from the local, just caught, fish monger Raymond (what a treat!!!) Minor drawbacks were outside setup for dive gear storage and drying were not optimal but with a little creativity (moving drying racks out front where it’s breezy and sunny) we made everything work. I would recommend this property and stay here again

Perfect!

We had a great vacation to Bonaire and Villa Trepanier was the perfect place to stay! Location was excellent for diving, walking to town, swimming out front. We loved the porch and spent most of the time people watching and enjoying the weather. Edithe, the property owner and Mariska the manager were both nice and helpful. I would highly recommend this property!
