Beautiful views and loved watching the cruise ships come and go everyday. Even though the airport was right across the road, it did not bother us at all. Great snorkelling in front as you are just steps to the water. Loved watching the iguanas and the parakeets. Greg and Suzette were awesome hosts. Every time we had questions, they were very quick to respond. Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise with us.

If I could give Serene Dream 6 stars in every category, I would! The posted pictures don't do it justice...everything was beautiful and perfect, and Greg was very helpful with questions we had about diving before we arrived. Serene Dream was clean with all needed amenities available, and we thought it was at the perfect location in the Port Bonaire complex. This was our first visit to Bonaire and we will definitely be returning next year because there is so much more diving to do and restaurants to try. We rented unlimited air/nitrox from Dive Friends who were great to work with. One of the best dives (Windsock) was right off of our pier...wonderful, HUGE schools of fish and turtles right between the pier and the beach. Thanks for a great vacation!

The location is perfect! Quiet surroundings, just steps from excellent snorkeling. We were initially questioning being so close to the airport- no need. So convenient, quiet, and Really beautiful. We encountered some issues during our stay, but Greg was very responsive and accomodating.

Serene getaway

Had a great trip to Bonaire, with a wonderful place to stay. A little trouble at first with access gate not functioning, but afterward stay was everything described. Unit was nice, location great, and convenience of beach/food trucks was great. Would highly recommend!

Perfect island home base

The place was just lovely, so clean and convenient. It had everything needed to make us feel at home. We appreciated the responsiveness and tips of the owners and the wealth of information they provided in the rental booklet. Planes were infrequent and shockingly quiet. We spent most of our time on the front patio enjoying the view but inside was cozy as well. It was also a plus being able to turn on the a/c while we sunscreened up. Being next to two of the best food trucks, and food, on the island was a definite win. We were repeat customers to both. Highly recommend snorkeling from the property and visiting the reefs around both corners and taking a swim at Te Amo beach.

Best location for a quiet holiday.

Serene Dream was the Iideal location for our Bonaire holiday. Amazing snorkelling is to be had within minutes of either walking to the beach next door or swimming across the channel right outside our door.The view from our terrace was beautiful both day and night. Sun all day, fabulous sunsets and then the twinkling lights of Kralendijk seen from across the sea in the evenings. We loved our low key holiday!

Great stay in Bonsire

Convenient location for diving with DFB right next door. Comfortable place just right for a couple. Nice that there are guide books for diving and birds of the island. Check in and out was a breeze. The information notebook was very useful regarding the power supply for charging phones. Would definitely stay here again. Reliable WiFi.

Beautiful waterfront views

We loved our stay! The patio overlooks the harbor and the ocean. We watched boats go by and snorkeled right off of the property. Te Amo beach is a fun place next door. The condo had everything we needed for cooking our own dinners.

Excellent location and property

Great place to snorkel and stay. There is a channel that has access to great snorkeling on a small island across from the condo. Be sure to watch out for boat traffic though. The pool and scuba dunk tanks are very helpful. The property has everything you could need for a great week of diving. We rented a truck and shore dived all week. Property is walking distance from the airport which is nice too.

Great location, great condo

I would highly recommend this rental unit without reservations. The location is perfect with easy access for swimming and snorkeling. The Te Amo beach is great for relaxing and has the incomparable Kite City food truck which has awesome fish sandwiches. The best activities on the island are 1). The water taxi with float snorkeling on Klein Bonaire, 2). The national Park with the hundreds of flamingos and great beaches with snorkeling, and 3). Relaxing with food and drink at te aMo Beach. Bonaire is such a great island, and this condo is just the right distance from a great wine store and grocery store. We cooked most of our meals and the kitchen is very well equipped. Don’t forget to get a meal at Jibe City as the food is good and watching the wind surfers is lots of fun. Would definitely return!

Amazing vacation

Greg and Suzette were excellent hosts and the place was absolutely fabulous with the most incredible location. I would recommend this unit to anyone traveling to Bonaire. Well located, safe and the property is beautifully mantained.

Stunning stay

After 5 nights suffering from lack of aircondition in the living quarter due to misled information listing by Island time rental co. through VRBO. We were lucky to spotted this condo at last min at Port Bonaire and was able to cancelled the preious one and moved here . Communication with Greg was superb. He is always available. He managed to get the condo ready for us in short notice.The condo is 5 stars Plus, located on the ground floor facing the ocean with large patio. peace and quiet. Greg gave very detail information how to reach the condo step by step. Thank you for that as we are not that tech savy.The condo is airy, bright and tastefully furnished, with a very well function kitchen with all the necessity fit for a gourmet cook. The whole unit is AIRCONDITONED!! The bedroom is very comfortable.The washroom is updated and modern. We really feel at home. It is 5 min walk from the airport, but we never notice the plane landing! We spent a lot of time snorkelling by the sandy beach next door. Many marine life and endless of schools of fishes. You can also snorkel just outside the patio. They have step ladder that led to the water.There are couple of food trucks at the beach serve good food at very reasonable price. Grocery stores are only 5 to 10 min drive away. We love our stay and will be back again.

Perfect Accommodation

Just left Serene Dream (reluctantly), could’ve stayed there for much longer. The unit has everything one could possibly want /need, including all the basic spices, olive oil etc. As an added bonus, there’s a wonderfully affectionate little brown/beige cat named Shiva that lives next door who visited regularly when we sat on the deck for breakfast. Greg (host) could not nave been any kinder or more helpful. He checked in regularly to see if he could help us in any way with recommendations/directions etc. The unit itself is lovely and precisely as shown in the pictures listed. We only used the A/C in the bedroom overnight but it worked very well and quickly cooled the room. Not sure about the A/C in the main area as we only used to pedestal fan. Loved that there’s proper hangers for wetsuits/BCDs on the deck, so helpful and easy. Really enjoyed the location at the main access point to the marinas, so lovely to watch the sailboats and many pleasure craft going buy. Sunsets are pretty awesome to watch with little Shiva too:). The small complex has a lovely swimming pool with an abundance of comfy chairs that seem to mostly sit empty as visitors seem to be on the go all the time. You definitely need to rent a vehicle when in Bonaire as it’s not at all pedestrian friendly with few sidewalks, narrow roads with no real shoulder. Avis is right across the street so it’s pretty easy but there’s many other rental car options. Book this unit with confidence, you honestly can’t go wrong!

Total bliss

The condo is the perfect size for a couple. Both the grounds and the unit are really well maintained, clean and lovely. Owners were very responsive as we planned our trip, and they gave us great advice about everything from grocery shopping, to renting a truck, to good places to eat. We loved hanging out on the porch, watching the azure sea, iguanas, wild parakeets, and boats. There's phenomenal snorkeling right off the dock-- we saw an octopus, green moray, and countless gorgeous fish right there! (Tip: Dive Friends has a really good reef-safe mask defogger. Use reef-friendly sunscreen to help protect the amazing sea creatures.) Serene Dream truly lived up to its name!

Amazing Christmas getaway

When you first check in to Serene Dream at Port Bonaire you are struck by the amazing view out the back deck of the condo. There is a really good beach with food trucks and snorkeling just though a gate on the south side of the property. There is also dive/snorkeling sites right from the property's pier. A short swim across a boating channel (very easy to swim across) opens up to a nice rock/reef structure with a ton of fish. Around the point you can follow the reef around to some of the resort snorkel areas where the fish are very friendly and swim right up to you. The pool/pool area was a nice addition. We spent some time there after a day or snorkeling the other amazing spots on the island. The connected patio was perfect for morning coffee and a happy hour beer. Greg and Suzette were very responsive and had many recommendations leading up to out trip. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely place

We had a terrific time at Serene Dreams. The location can't be beat. The condo is well equipped and very comfortable. The kitchen is quite compact, but has everything you need for meals, which was important for us as we always eat in. The bed was very comfortable. The hosts are extremely communicative and made me feel like my comfort was top of their mind. Would definitely stay again.

Golden Wedding Anniversary Trip

Location excellent, adjacent to one of the nicest beaches on the island. Scenic views from patio, binoculars would have been nice. The owners should have been made aware that there were major renovations scheduled to be taking place in the unit directly above us. Deconstruction and restoration with power tools started by seven most mornings for first week and a half of our two week trip. At times, we couldn't carry on a conversation inside or on the patio due to the noise level. This certainly did not create the 'serene' setting we had been expecting. The owners should have informed us of the situation prior to our arrival in order that we could have explored other options.

Serene Dream

We had a wonderful stay at Serene Dream Bonaire. The property was clean, spacious and conveniently located close to town, supermarkets and beaches. There is a lovely porch that looks out to the water. There are steps leading to the ocean for snorkeling, diving and swimming and a beautiful swimming pool. It was well stocked with everything we needed to cook a few of our meals including spices, oil, and cooking pans. The owners provided extremely detailed instructions. We appreciated that toiletries were provided since our bags were delayed and did not arrive until the third day of our stay.
