Our family of four had a wonderful stay at Surface Interval. Bruce was incredibly helpful both before and during our trip, and the management office was responsive and supportive as well. The condo itself was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed — we especially loved the patio and found the AC very effective. The beds were comfortable, and parking was easy with no issues.The location is great for enjoying the water — we had a fantastic time snorkeling the reef right out front and loved drifting down to Bachelor Beach.There were a couple of minor drawbacks: we noticed some noise from the road and a neighborhood dog, but the sound of the waves and the AC made it easy to tune out. With a family of four, the gate/key entry system felt a bit cumbersome if we weren’t all heading out together; a key code entry might be more convenient.Overall, a really enjoyable vacation!

It is a lovely condo right on the beach. The only thing that marred the stay was a plumbing issue that requires us to move out. The realtor found an equivalent unit and we moved. It was just the way things can go wrong but everyone was very helpful,including the owner.

If you are planning a trip to Bonaire this is the place to be. Excellent amenities, private pool and beach share by just a view units. Reef right outside the door. The famous dive sites literally minutes down the road. Short drive to restaurants, shopping, airport.Take a ride to the Wast side for some spectacular boat dives. Couldn’t ask for more. Maybe one more week! Bruce was super helpful Can’t wait to return!

Great Stay

The condo was exactly as listed, very clean and an unexpected cleaning half way through our 8 night stay was a pleasant surprise. There are plenty of kitchen utensils and spices to cooks meals in the room. The view from the patio is spectacular (just don't hang dive gear on the railing, I was informed by the full time neighbor that's not permitted). The diving itself on Bonaire is still good (I haven't been there in 6 years), but has, in my opinion, declined due to dead and dying coral. Overall, it was a great trip and I would highly recommend this apartment.

The Absolute Best!

We loved this beautiful apartment on the water and will be back for sure. Thanks to the owner for great communication it was easy to get oriented to the island quickly. We felt safe and drove ourselves all over. The apartment is well stocked, quiet, comfortable and close to e wrything.

Excellent rental

Very pleasant and comfortable. I would not recommend a light sleeper using the street-side bedroom. Clothes dryer not working but fortunately the drying rack substituted adequately. Otherwise we loved the location. Excellent snorkeling off the beach.

Best Choice Ever

We couldn’t have picked a better spot. Loved the beach right off the property and had some of the best snorkelling right here! Condo has everything we needed and our host, Bruce, was wonderful right from the start. Once we got a feel for where the shopping etc was, we realized just how perfect this location is. Away from the crowds of the cruise ships but close enough to get to where we needed in a short drive. Highly recommend this property and we fell in love with Bonaire.

Wonderful stay

We loved our stay. The view off the balcony is fantastic and it was a ton of fun watching the cruise ship come in each morning and leave in the evening. We also relished each sunset. More importantly, the snorkeling off of the property’s shore is very good. There were often bait balls within 100 feet of shore, and we saw every manner of marine life. If you can go and snorkel at sunrise or sunset, there is even more life out there, including eels. In terms of the condo, the kitchen was well stocked, and everything was as one would expect. We will definitely stay there again.

Beautiful Beachfront Getaway

We were a group of 3 including my elderly mother looking for a last minute stop in Bonaire. We were lucky enough to find an opening in peak season. Bruce was the perfect host and not only communicated quickly but went out of his way to make our stay great. We would come back, stay longer and enjoy the amazing view and location of this condo!

Great location / fully stocked apartment

Bruce's place felt like home away from home rather than a rental. Communication was excellent and the apartment had more amenities than rentals typically do (the coffee grinder was clutch). The entire apartment was comfortable and quiet

Really fantastic apartment

We had an excellent time. The property was very nice, close to our favorite dive sites. The property owners gave us a detailed list of any information we needed and gave us some suggestions for rentals, diving and restaurants. Could not recommend enough! The only tiny issue is theres limited parking so if other apartments have multiple car rentals you may not have parking. Small potatoes though.

Great place to relax in total comfort!

This is a fabulous property located right on the water of the bay with stairs and a small sandy beach for great access to the ocean. There are private homes on both sides, so very private for ocean play without a large resort next door. Fabulous snorkeling/diving. (We went snorkeling 2 times a day for the 2 weeks we were there and saw new things every time.) 2nd floor location meant very few steps (there is a small elevator as well for load in). The balcony is on the NW corner of the complex so the trade winds create a lovely breeze, but not full on wind when on the balcony and it's the perfect spot to watch the sunset every night. (We spent many hours on the balcony.) The complex is on a busy road out front, so there is road noise in the front bedroom during the day, but the master (middle) bedroom is quiet - especially with the air conditioner on/windows closed for sleeping. Great and easy communication with the owner and property management company. Both were very helpful and responsive whenever we had questions. We highly recommend! The place is better in person than the pictures - and the pictures are pretty darn good. We stayed 2 weeks and after one week the property management sent in a cleaning crew to vacuum, mop floors, clean bathrooms-which we did not expect and really appreciated! 100% recommend!

Fantastic location, good accommodations

The location can’t be beat. The little private beach is lovely. We saw an octopus while snorkeling just off the beach. The condo has everything you need just a bit run down. The dive center is no longer across the street it moved to the Bloozz resort down the street, just about 100 yards away. Over all we enjoyed our stay and would return.

Week in Bonaire with family

Absolutely wonderful place to stay in Bonaire. Clean, everything and much more as was advertised! There are many added bonuses we found on arrival such as coolers to utilize, pool toys and extra beach towels available. Every detail was thought of and answered. Thank you for sharing the best in Bonaire with our family. Will definitely be repeating customers if ever back in Bonaire. Great location, wonderful layout and easy to find/parking available for rental.

Everything you need in a place to stay

Bruce's place is perfect. The kitchen has EVERYTHNG you need, the beds are super comfortable, plenty of comfortable seating areas and tables, and you look right there at the sunsets each night. Having owned a place in Bonaire for 17 years and knowing the island well, and places to stay, Bruce's place is one of the best...you can't go wrong. I'll be booking again. Thanks Bruce for making your place simply perfect!

Nice views, lovely sunsets

We stayed here in Feb, the condo was easy to get into, lovely space, lots of room. Felt very safe and secure. We had a little issue with the Wi-Fi, but our fault we did not know the 9 looks like g in Bonaire. The grill on the balcony would not work, we informed the manager right away, on Monday morning, they are closed weekends, they showed up to look at it late Thursday. Could not be fixed right away. We did have a nice time, the room was spacious and comfortable. Air conditioners in bedrooms a big plus. The balcony was awesome for sunsets and coffee in the mornings. Nice touch a big drying rack for swimsuits on balcony. Notes, we could have used more information about the lockers, and rules, the flyer we got on table was only printed on one side, when we went to manager office, they gave us another one with info for the scuba locker on the backside of flyer. We did not get communication of check out time,until that morning. Beware the scuba locker is a shared locker, not the owners fault, but someone stole my dive booties the morning of a paid dive on the Wild Side, very inconvenient, they did show back up the next morning. Owner was responsive to any and all questions I had before arrival.

Beautiful Bonaire stay

We loved our condo! It was close to everything, and had lovely interior with beautiful view. We loved the small pool and the small private beach which was steps away from the water. The condo was stocked with everything we needed (minus the food of course) to cook and make you comfortable. Bruce was great to work with as well.
