I’ve never shared a room with more than 2 before & with bunk beds but my 1st experience was very pleasant & joyful. It was just before NYE available hotels were limited never mind the high costs for even 3*! But it’s NYE! I was pleasantly surprised & happy all the way during my 6 night stay. Having thought I’ll only stay for the night coz of late arrival on the 29/12. Reception staff were helpful & friendly. Rooms were cleaned well & beddings changed daily. More than enough facilities for bathroom/showers - never had to wait. Location was perfect! About 10-15 mins to the main beach, stepping out the bldg lots of shops, restaurants, chemists incl 7/11 shop in every few mtrs distances. I’m happy I didn’t have to pay £100-200+ a night or more with what I’ve been seeing when I was surfing the web. I met some lovely girls globally & at times going out to dinner with them. Guests were courteous, polite & interesting to chat with as most were intelligent newly uni grads or in gap years. Have exchanged contacts w few. Although the bldg is in front of main road did not hear any noise. The back rooms are overlooking the cliffs. All in all I left very happy & content & will stay again. I’m booked in advance at hotel in Chiang Mai recommended by a friend. If I extend my stay - I’ll sure will try again a hostel and see if my first experience equates the next!! If so = I can travel even more coz these gives me more budget for flights & other costs associated w Travel/Exploring! 😍🤓

Maybe it was just our room… but the bathroom ceiling was moldy and shower walls looked like they’d never been cleaned. The room smelled like mildew and there was a cockroach in it. The location is great and people were very nice but we spent as little time in the room as possible.

Location is convenient and only about 10 minutes from the beach walking. There are lots of restaurants and bars in the area. Staff are friendly and helpful, and they do a good job maintaining the property. The bathroom situation is in the hallways where the doors to the dorms are, so it's a bit awkward and limited privacy. The doors to the room are quite thin too, so when people talk outside them it's quite loud. There is a sewage smell in the common area - it was quite bad and made it hard to spend any time there.

The staff was very helpful and helping resolve an issue with Getting to my next location in a very effective and efficient manner I was so thankful for the resistance. The accommodations were clean and tidy.

Hostel bom e organizado, as equipe da recepção esta sempre disposta a ajudar. O hostel tem 4 andares, de escada. Meu quarto era no 4º andar, meio cansativo subir e descer as escadas ainda mas com mala pesada. Tem um área social boa porém nao é um hostel que promove integração, nao é o foco deles. Fica a uns 12 minutos de caminhada da praia, mas os passeios de buscam e deixam na hospedagem.

Clean, Comfortable

I was pleased with my stay at Pop-In Hostel. The hostel is clean and comfortable, and the staff is helpful. The location is a bit of a walk from the main drag of Ao Nang, but there are plenty of restaurants and bars to make the area interesting. I definitely recommend Pop-In Hostel and will be booking a stay there again if I’m ever back in Ao Nang.

My first Hostel experience and I was sold on hostels after this. A very nice hostel for the price.. a bit of a walk till the beach. I'd say around 20 mins. But it was still pretty close to everything. I'd stay again.

I arrived late at 1am my flight was delayed- room was ready. Was pleased with that. Solo travel, 29years of ages, British Asian Location - Across the road from shops and away from the hussle which is good - 5 mins walk from neon market and the mall are all pret Facialities Basic Shower was good even though sharing every cleans good quality I had a private room very very small no window felt a bit choasfobic Bed was comfortable I paid about £15 for one nights - No atmosphere - so do not go if you want to meet people. There was no cats and dogs

We really appreciated the fact that the staff was more than happy to book excursions on our behalf and handle the logistics of meeting drivers etc. They're super chill and helpful in making sure that your trip goes well. The location is great, just a 10 minute walk from the beach, tons of restaurants along the way.

Sauber, große Zimmer, freundliches Personal, eigener großer Bettkasten für den Rucksack etc. Negativer Punkt: hat man ein Zimmer zur Straße hin wird es laut. Gegenüber steht eine Moschee die auch früh um 5 die Gebete singt...

Very friendly staff and very big room. Facilities are good and the bar is nice. You get a voucher for bbq food every night. I really enjoyed staying here ended up extending twice

施設内はとても清潔で快適です。ビーチからは少し離れていますが安くて美味しいご飯屋さんや小さいですがナイトマーケットも近くにあり楽しめます。ただ、スタッフの方々があまり親切ではなかったのが残念です。

Comfortable place and only 15 min walk to beach

This is a nicely maintained place with clean rooms. I would recommend getting a room at the back of the building. The rooms at the front of the building could be noisy because of the street and bar on the first floor. Good location, only 15 min walk to the beach and surrounded by lots of placed to eat that are far less expensive than the beach area. Nice to have a bar on the first floor to meet an socialize with fellow guest but the beach prices are three times more than the 7-11 down the street.

ビーチ近い、また、レストランも近くにたくさんあるので便利です。ホテルというより、日本でいうカプセルホテルみたいなもの。外人も男女混合で話しやすい人だとかなり仲良くなれます。私の場合、カリフォルニア、オーストラリア、インド、ドイツ、イタリー、ブラジル、中国の人とかなり話して盛り上がりました。

Highly recommend :)

A great hostel with helpful/friendly staff. 10-15 min walk to Ao Nang beach - you can get a long tail boat to Tonsai or Railey beach from there. Plenty of restaurants closely, but the hostel also provides a free BBQ every night. There's also a bar with games if you want to join in. The reception staff can help with booking trips or transport.
