Spacious, clean, very well equipped apartment. Loads of storage & fab to have a washing machine! The pool area was generally pretty quiet & a nice space for morning sun. However the real wow of this property is that amazing view - you will not tire of watching the changing sky & activity unfold on the water - from cruise ships to kayaks & swimmers, it’s a wondrous location to relax. 25 mins flat (busy at times) walk to main old walled town. Great communication from hosts. Highly recommend

Loved our stay, easily walkable to the old town, amazing views across the bay and the apartment itself has everything you could need. We practically lived on the balcony, what a spot! 100% recommend and we will definitely be back!

Perfect place

We spent 5 nights at this apartment and felt very comfortable. Anne-Marie was great at communicating and let us know ahead of time about the construction going on behind the building. To be honest we were up before any noise started and in the evening the work was done while we enjoyed sitting on the balcony enjoying the view. We picked this spot based on photos of the view and the view was way better in person. Although not in Kotor it was an easy walk to get to the old town. The apartment had all essentials we needed and Alex (the man on site) was helpful to us during our stay. It was a bit cool for us to enjoy the pool but overall I would recommend staying here. If we were to return we would stay here again. Thank you Anne-Marie for sharing your home with us.

What a super place

Extremely clean, fantastic location. Amazing views -pictures really don't do it justice. Felt at home immediately, quiet, safe and secure. Owner also arranged transport from airport. Highly recommended!

Stunning views and lovely apartment

This fabulous one-bedroom apartment in Muo has breathtaking views across Kotor bay under a stunning backdrop of mountains. The balcony looks out over the beautiful bay towards the historical old town of Kotor. The apartment is superbly equipped, clean and modern. There is a communal swimming pool which never gets too busy where you can relax and unwind. A 20 minute walk takes you into the bustling town of Kotor, enriched with culture, history and natural beauty. The town has a real buzz especially with all the daily visits of cruise ships but there are countless wonderful restaurants serving local dishes, specialising in fish and pasta. A speedboat trip around the bay is one of the must-do adventures. The owners Anne-Marie and Chris are always on hand via email or what’s app should any situation arise. If you are considering a holiday in Montenegro, and I really would recommend it, then this is the perfect accommodation for a couple.

Wonderful Apartment

This apartment has a balcony with the most wonderful view you could ever ask for. It was the highlight of our holiday. The swimming pool was also an amazing location to cool off and watch the birds swooping down for a drink!The apartment itself was very well equipped and spacious, fitted and decorated to a high standard. The shower was powerful with plenty of hot water. The air conditioning was effective and welcome! The parking space was a real bonus, given the difficulty of parking in the area. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to old Kotor but it is a bit hazardous as the road is narrow and there are no pavements for half the distance. Communication with the owners prior to the holiday was excellent with a very quick response time. Once in Montenegro, the local contact, Alex, was also very responsive and helpful. However, we would suggest that a key safe would improve the check-in experience. This would avoid the anxiety we felt when our flight was considerably delayed. The apartment was very clean and tidy with the exception of the fridge.

Fantastique

L’appartement est très propre, très confortable, très bien équipé. Il est idéalement situé dans les bouches de Kotor, au calme. La vue de la terrasse est magique. Nous n’avons pas vu les propriétaires mais nous avons communiqué avec eux, ils sont très réactifs. La piscine dans la résidence est très appréciable. Je recommande grandement cet appartement

Great apartment with breathtaking views

Excellent apartment with fabulous views over Kotor Old Town, Boka Bay and the surrounding mountains. The apartment was really well equipped and the swimming pool was a refreshing delight (again with stunning views). The apartment is set back from the road and a good 25 minutes walk into Kotor Old Town, but there are frequent taxis and buses. Our host was excellent in organising our airport transfers, check in and out and car hire with the help of Alex who lives nearby. Thoroughly recommend this apartment as a perfect base to explore this part of Montenegro and even to venture over to Dubrovnik.

We just returned from a nice week on beautiful Kotor Bay. Everything went smoothly from booking till the end of our stay also connecting with host Anne-Marie and local partner Alex by WhatsApp. The apartment is beautifully renovated and tidy and the view to the bay is amazing. Well equipped kitchen, comfy mattress in bed and hot shower are valued. Neighborhood is peaceful, a bakery and a grocery in close distance and nice short walk to the town. There is lots to experience; Kotor town and the amazing views from the fortress, boat trip to the Blue Cave, several little villages along the bay.. We walked a lot and used the local BlueLine buses and also the long distance ones to go further like towns Budva and Podgorica. We have hired holiday properties along Europe for twenty years and this is definitely one of the best and we warmly recommend it.

Wonderful property and super hosts!

Anne-Marie and Chris couldn’t have been more helpful throughout the booking process and during our stay. They made it very simple and easy for us to reschedule when we had to postpone our stay twice because of Covid. They also provided lots of helpful information about the area and were easy to contact and very responsive to our messages. The apartment was spotless and contained everything we needed for a week’s stay. All the little touches had been thought of and we were very comfortable there. Check in was straightforward and Alex, the owner’s agent in Kotor, was available to help throughout our stay. We also arranged transfers and car hire through Alex and would happily recommend his services. The apartment is in a perfect setting - a peaceful location close to the water, but only a short walk into town. And the views from the apartment are to die for! We made good use of the swimming pool, which was lovely and warm, and there were always plenty of sunbeds available. We have already recommended the apartment to several of our friends and we hope to return again ourselves in the near future.

What a lovely position the apartment is in. The views are amazing. Sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine in the evening was very special. Everything we needed and much more in the apartment! Clean and modern. Anne-Marie was extremely helpful before and during our stay. Thank you Anne-Marie for your patience and kindness. We finally got there! 😀

Lovely Apartment in Great Position

We loved our stay here, it's a lovely apartment which has everything you need for a very comfortable stay. When our arranged taxi ride with Alex didn't arrive at the airport, due to car trouble, Anne-Marie, the owner, was great. I called Anne-Marie, the owner, and a local taxi was soon there to pick us up and she even took time to call later to make sure we were okay and had safely arrived. The kitchen was modern and well equipped, there was a washing machine, huge fridge/freezer and an iron, which was really useful. The bed and sofa bed were lovely and comfortable and the air con worked well. It was such a joy to sit out on the balcony in the evening, enjoying the fantastic views over a glass of chilled wine! We spent every night watching the boats coming and going and it was wonderful to see the old town walls illuminated. We also took advantage of the communal swimming pool and sunbeds, which was a nice bonus. I would stay here again in a heartbeat, super hosts, great apartment, wonderful views, close to the Old Town - there was nothing to dislike.

Peaceful Home Away from Home

We had the pleasure of staying at Chris and Anne-Marie’s home for 6 nights. The apartment is in an ideal location, just far enough from old town Kotor to be away from the crowds but walking distance to the town, the Kotor walls and numerous lovely restaurants as well as an amazing bakery and great food store. There is good access out of Kotor for day trips from this location. The two things that stand out are the amazing communication with Anne-Marie, (no question was left unanswered and her replies were very prompt) and her recommendations for things to see and restaurants was spot on. The other was the deck...what an amazing place to sit and watch the cruise ships and the world pass by. The only small challenge was to find the place originally. As we travel by motorcycle we navigate with GPS rather than google maps and the GPS was unable to locate. After a very kind gentleman used his phone to contact the proprietors friend Alex with our location he drove over to our location to guide us in which, given the long day and weather, was very much appreciated. We would stay in this apartment again without hesitation if we were to find ourselves back in the Kotor area.

Six days of relaxation

Great apartment, great view and great pool. Twenty minute walk to Old Town Kotor. Fifteen minute walk to IDEA supermarket. Local bus at the front of driveway to other towns. Apartment had everything you could need. Anne Marie always available via email. If we were ever lucky enough to return this is the place we would stay. If you are walking the driveway is a little bit steep if you have mobility issues and no car. We walked and it was fine (in our 60's).

Lovely apartment, lovely location, kind and helpful owners.

The apartment was perfect, exactly as described - clean and spacious with comfortable beds/seating and a small kitchen in which we found everything that we needed for our stay. Our hosts, Chris and Anne-Marie, were super-helpful before and throughout our stay. Their friend Alex was on hand to greet us and answer any questions or needs we might have, and there was also a most helpful and accurate information folder in the flat. Thanks to all of you for your kindness and attention. The apartment was perfectly placed for us: away from the road, but far enough up to enjoy the views across the bay and (surprisingly) not too far uphill to walk up to from the road. Being across the bay from Kotor meant that it was much more peaceful than being in Kotor itself. The walk into Kotor is about 20 minutes and, during our stay, was often backed up with cars from the roundabout in Kotor. This meant that it was an easy, but not particularly pleasant stroll....however, for us it was far superior to walk from Muo than to be in busy Kotor. We took a water taxi back - a very pleasant alternative and worth every cent!
