hotel de paso
ee un hotel de paso a les perhentiens es nuestra 2 vez en este Hotel y va a peor necesita una renovación urgente,un hotel muy grande los espacios comunes están bien pero las habitaciones están muy dejadas y sucias con manchas entodos los rincones de la habitación sabanas rotas toallas muy gastadas, y la limpieza diaria deja mucho que desear, el desayuno muy amplio pero para el cliente local y muy poca variedad para el resto, los empleados muy amables sobre todo el conserje es encantador

Our initial room was on the second floor of the older “low-rise” section of the hotel facing the pool. There was a connecting door to the adjoining room, plus a broken toilet flush button. So, we asked to move rooms due to noise issues at previous hotels. The staff were great and promptly moved us to another room on the same floor. Unfortunately, the desk chair was filthy and some areas hadn’t been properly cleaned. That night, it was unacceptably noisy in the hallway from young children screaming and playing into the late evening - the room was not very soundproof! The worst thing was the “Queen” bed was so small that, being reasonably tall (6’1), my feet were entirely sticking out the end of the bed - not an enjoyable sleep! Once again, although the staff said they don’t have any larger beds and the “queen” size was based on a “Malaysian” standard, they were very understanding and moved us to their new “high-rise” section with updated and more modern rooms. Our new room was on a high floor and gave us a good view - especially for the enjoyable nightly storms. However, the bed was still short and unfortunately, we didn’t sleep that well during our stay. There was an entensive breakfast, but much was tailored to locals. Still, there was sufficient food for us to enjoy. Good shopping at the nearby plaza. The staff allowed us a very late checkout at 5pm due to our late flight, which was appreciated. Overall, the staff were a plus, but the beds were a big problem!

Room comfort, but toilet need improve
I stay at room 339, the exhaust/fan just outside of my windows and it non-stop operating. The noise is horrible. The breakfast is so so…. The toilet is old, not dare to use the bath tub even I like that. Slippery and every where getting wet after shower.

Buffet breakfast spread was excellent combining a range of local fares combined with a select choice of western options. Pool is a good size and clean. Staff are helpful and responsive to request. Wished there is a convenient store in-house or next dipper to emergency needs of stuff.

Room differences
Room - The corridor stinks i think it's coming from the old carpet. The room itself smell of dust and the carpet stale. Bathroom cleanliness needs major improvement for a 4 star hotel. Toothbrush will only be given upon request 😅 Aircond was not cold even the marker is at 10'c, highest fan. Within 2 hours the hotel encountered an electricity issue then the aircond suddenly not functioning. We called for techician but was told to wait. Nothing change after 30mins so we called again for technician. One of them said that the aircond is not cooling at all and he immediatelly requesting for a room change from frontdesk. We were given another room on the same floor and i asked if the carpet smells too and the frontdesk said yes 😵 So we requested for room upgrade and was given Executive Room since we are willing to pay for the additional price. The room is clean with new carpet.Toothbrush is provided alongside with other sanitary item/etc. Breakfast - almost similar menu for 5night stays. In room service - big portion of food and kueteow goreng with squid worth the price. Mee goreng also good. Mushroom soup is okay. Keropok lekor is the best. Near distance with eateries lot of choices around.

Unpleasant Stay
Hotel was run down. We were first given a room located on the 9th floor, the room was located right next to a bunch of outdoor air conditioning fans that was so loud hence later in the afternoon we requested for another room, we were then moved to the 8th floor. Whilst the room was quieter, the room condition was gross and dirty. The headboard was old and dingy, the pillows and sheets had a damp smell, the bathroom area was mouldy and black in some parts and the hotel was very stingy with their bathroom amenities. The breakfast was not pleasant, looked unhygienic and the quality of food was questionable. Will definitely NOT be returning to this hotel!

Needs improvement
Overall is ok. The car park was a hassle. Need to use credit card and they said will refund. Kind of a nuisance. How am I going to check every time I go in and out and know the refund is successful. Also once the whole system was jammed - the system couldn’t detect the credit cards. Luckily the security personnel were there to help. The bathroom was not good. Only rain shower but the bath area was leaking everywhere and the whole bathroom was wet

Great stay for Strict Muslims - excellent staff
Very nice hotel conservative Muslim with good staff. Clean, good breakfast and service. We were unaware of the Kota Bharu culture, having never been before - no alcohol in the hotel and anlmost non in town and certainly no ladies in the pool (unless in full burkhah!) however for a 2 night stay enroute the Perhentian Islands it made for a pleasant stay - out of town but opposite a Starbucks and a almighty. Distance to a shopping centre.

Das Hotel liegt zentral, nicht weit vom Flughafen. Die Zimmer sind komfortabel und sauber. Das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das W-Lan hat etwas geschwächelt und das Frühstücksbuffet ist ausschließlich an den regionalen Frühstücksgewohnheiten ausgerichtet. Aber insgesamt auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen.

Nice, clean spacious room with large bathroom. Friendly helpful staff. We were thankful for the hotel’s close proximity to the Sultan Muhammad Stadium, home of Kelantan FC. The Perdana is also close to a great Night Market on Jalan Hospital only a few walkable blocks away. We stayed three nights and visited the market all three nights!

An almost perfect stay spoilt by the lunch
A beautiful hotel decorated with traditional design & items of Kelantan. Cld hv been a perfect stay unfortunately spoilt by the the huge disappointment during lunch. All the food ordered were over cooked....the grilled salmon & NZ beef as well as the roasted chicken. What shld hv tasted juicy & tender ended just the opposite !

Lack of maintenance and dirty hotel
With the price they charge, I believe this is the best hotel in KB. But, very disappointed that the hotel is bad in maintenance, old furniture and dirty toilet. Especially the ants is non stop disturbing me when I’m working on the desk. The worst thing is I can see a cockroach leg on the towel !!

Overall very good. Breakfast got many choices and variety foods. One thing i do aggrieved is my neighbour next room make noise during maghrib religous prayer. I felt so sad...because Islam is our religious. If you dont pray, at least respect others privacy. Hotel management should provide a space for customer to comment immediately and take immediate action to teach uncivilized customers.
