This was the absolute best Kauai VRBO experience! Andy is such an accommodating host and provided great information to have the best possible vacation. The home is spacious and provided plenty of room for 8 adults and 2 children. It is a quick walk away from two beaches and there was plenty of beach gear provided (towels, chairs, umbrella, bodyboards, etc.) The house was very clean and well stocked with supplies. We will be recommending Andy's home to anyone looking to stay on this side of the island.

First off. This place should more than 5 stars as it has it all. We found the only place we want to stay in the future when returning to Kauai. The host cater to a truly amazing stay. They use local businesses to introduce guests to some really wonderful things kauai has. For example, the local soaps from Maile or flowers from local florist. The home has it all. Extremely clean and well maintained(this cannot be understated as floors, blinds, screen, hot tub, pool, appliance were are pristine). You wont see everywhere on the island. Owners go out of their way to make sure guest have everything, and we did. Everything for beach or pool we could ask for and our kids loved this place. From ping pong outside and nice yard for them to play in, it was all perfect. We have stayed at several high end homes in Kauai and resorts as well like the St. Regis and 1-Hotel and still this home and owners do it better and we will be back. Thank you

We had a group of 9 (4 kids) and we had the best time! The house was perfect for our mixed group and the kids did not want to ever leave the pool! The house was nicely stocked with some essentials and necessities, especially the kitchen. I would say it was one of the best stocked properties I have ever stayed at. Andy was also very communicative and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The kids review - "AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME!"

Everything stood out!Without a doubt it tops all vacation rentals we’ve ever had! The facilities were superb.Never had a host care more about wanting to make sure their client had a great vacation!!Our flight from Seattle was delayed by 4 hours and did not get to our unit till about 1:00 AM.Before our flight left Andy went the extra mile to ensure we’d have all the information and necessities we’d need to start our vacation the next day! 10 out of 10 in all areas!Thank you Andy & Christine!!

Andy was an amazing host from beginning to end. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. Endless amenities throughout. The house was well designed, open yet private. We were able to see the sunrise and set and whale watch. The proximity to the beach was a short walk and a must to see the turtles and monk seals. Our stay was magical!

This home was exceptional and had more than everything we needed! We thoroughly loved being able to walk to the beaches and there were boogie boards, sand chairs, wagon and anything and everything we wanted!Our times in the pool and playing yard games was over the moon!This home was perfect for us with plenty of room for everyone!Andy, our host, was delightful, thoughtful and readily available to us!We cannot wait to stay at this perfect home again!

This house is amazing! It is spacious, beautiful, and well-appointed! The views are wonderful! We were able to whale-watch from the house! It is an easy walk down to the beach. The pool was so nice and private. We will definitely stay again if we get back to Kauai!

The house was clean and spacious. The layout provided privacy as well as large open areas for family gathering. The kitchen was equipped with premium cookware and a variety of spices and oils. Andy responded to questions promptly and was a more than gracious host!

This property was fantastic! Our host Andy was exceptional, he was so accommodating and responsive. We had treats and fresh flowers on our arrival which was such a thoughtful touch and much appreciated. He really makes you feel welcome. The house had an abundance of towels, beach items, kitchenware and just everything you need for a very enjoyable and worry free stay. We loved the pool area and hot tub and everything was very clean. It’s also in a great location and close to everything we wanted to see and do. We highly recommend this property and hope to return:) Mahalo!!

Wonderful property and host. The house was perfect and very well maintained with everything we needed. The pool, hot tub, and yard were also great. Property is in excellent conditions and comes with so many extras that are too numerous to mention. The host was easily accessible and simply a great guy. The location is perfect for Poipu vacationers. We had great privacy on the property but were close to everything. Great house, great location and a great host.

What an amazing home to stay in for a family and friend get together. The home is more beautiful thank the pictures. We used the pool and had meals together and the house was equipped with umbrellas, chairs, boogie boards and snorkel gear. I absolutely wanted nothing more as this house had it all. Andy the host was very welcoming and the best communication came from this homeowner. I can’t wait to plan my return and it will definitely be at this property! Thank you Andy!

I can’t say enough good things about this house. It’s very high end with everything, from the house itself to towels to appliances. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. Andy and his wife were so good to talk to if we had any questions or just to check in to see how our stay was going. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. The house is setup to accommodate multiple families. We had a group of 9 with room to spare. We had 7 adults and 2 children. The big dining table made it nice for family dinners and cards before bed! The pool was a big hit with all of us. Everything you need for the pool is all there. Everything you need for a day at the beach was plentiful. Perfect stay!

Amazing vacation!

My sister and I brought our families to this spectacular house for a vacation to celebrate a lot of graduations. The house is really fantastic-great views and layout for multiple families. There is nothing forgotten here....the host is so kind and thoughtful and left us lots of treats and flowers to kick off the vacation. Andy helped us with everything we asked him and we ended up spending more time at the house than we anticipated because it was so beautiful. We cooked almost all our dinners there in the kitched that was well stocked and enjoyed the sunset every night. They have huge water jugs for the guests which was amazing- we probably went through four in a week. We also had everything we needed to cook delicious meals. The pool is so nice since it is heated plus there is a spa as well. We also had all the coolers, boogie boards, chairs, umbrellas and pool toys we needed! The house really made our vacation special and we are grateful for all the help Andy provided with our questions, etc...you will love it and we can't wait to come back!

My family and I rented this house for a week and it was the perfect place for us. The host, Andy, was great at communicating before, during and after our stay. He recommended restaurants and beaches, and contacted me after my niece left her journal when we left. The house itself is amazing. This was a special trip for my family as we don't take big vacations together often (last one was 10 years ago). Having a private pool and hot tub was great for the kids who were always wanting to be in the water and the grandparents who had troubles navigating the beaches. We cooked daily and the kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were spacious, and the outdoor areas were so relaxing. I can't recommend this house enough. I will definitely rent it again if/when I go back to Kauai. Lastly, the location was within a 5 minute walk to the beach and a short drive to shops and restaurants. It comes with access to an athletic club that we used daily. We had evening flights back to the mainland and spent the time between checkout and heading to the airport at athletic club's pool where we could shower before our flights.

Wonderful wedding weekend in Hawaii

The trip was to celebrate the marriage of my Grandson. Our party consisted of 3 adult generations. This home was perfect. Everything you needed for a weekend at the beach was provided. The host Andy was most helpful. He even provided local treats and fresh flowers for our enjoyment. Best family wedding/vacation ever.

Perfect Poipu Vacation Property

Beautiful property in a perfect location. By far, this VRBO was the most well appointed property I've stayed at in Hawaii, and we have come every year for 15 years. The little things were all thought of, from olive oil, salt and pepper, to beach chairs and umbrellas. Our group of four couples (eight adults) all had our private spaces but the community areas and pool were great as well. Just a short walk to Brenneke's beach or Shipwreck's at the Hyatt. Andy and Sarah were excellent communicators and easy to work with. We will always look to stay here when we return to Poipu.

Better than the pictures! Comfortably accommodated two families of 5. Best stocked kitchen of any VRBO we've stayed at. Great ocean views and super short walk to the beach. I'd stay here again no question.

Family vacation

This a beautiful home with all of the amenities and more than a family would need. Beds were comfy, the tech equipment worked, neighborhood is quiet and lovely, the pool and spa were just right. The Balks are obviously proud of their house and want it to be just right for themselves when they visit and for their guests.
