Great ocean view, cool breezes, beautiful sunrises, quiet neighborhood and short drives to some good restaurants, shopping and beaches near by. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent location to all the best beaches. You cannot beat the sunset and birds each evening. There are no surprises, the condo is exactly as described. I recommend HoloHolo Charters Nepali and Niihau coast tour. Departs at 6am and the drive to Port Allen is only 20 minutes. Checkout Backwoods for tubing down the old sugar cane water tunnels. About 25min drive from the condo. The Beach House restaurant next to the property is a must for a refreshing cocktail and crab cakes at sunset. I will be back to this condo for future island hops!!! Mahalo for the Aloha

The condo looks out onto a small bay and across to some older houses (ie what Poipu looked like before the resorts) on a point. Sit on the lanai and watch the waves roll in. Close to Koloa and a pleasant drive to other south shore locations. Fall asleep to the sounds of the surf.

Somehow I had the notion that oceanfront means wide open vistas of water and sky… and does not include houses and a busy street, as this property does. Even so, it is a lovely property and well appointed overall.

Lovely location

We so enjoyed looking out over the water, we never tired of it! The first morning, the sunrise was absolutely spectacular!! The kitchen suited us well and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom had an odor, however. We were thankful for the AC as there were several days of higher humidity and it was a lifesaver! Thank you for such a nice stay!

The best view for any stay ever!

We were looking for a relaxing time in Kauai. This property and view were beyond what we expected. The property is lovely and had everything we needed, clean, comfortable, all the needed kitcheny stuff to make meals as we desired. A nice bed and clean bathroom. All good. But to wake up and have coffee on the balcony and watch the sunrise over the hill and have the view of turtle bay right before us, the whole time is beyond words. We saw plenty of turtles, a reef shark, and fish from the balcony. This makes this place an eleven! We will be coming back!

Wonderful south shore home base!

This well stocked condo had everything we needed for a relaxing and comfortable stay on the south shore. We loved watching turtles from the deck, walked to spouting Horn Park, and had all necessary to prep some meals. Beach chairs and cooler were a plus! Comfy bed, AC when needed, and easy check in and communication. We’d highly recommend this condo for your south Kauai vacation.

Amazing tropical paradise

Kuhio Shores

We enjoyed our 4 days here very much. The property is older but well maintained. The kitchen was well stocked and for a smaller kitchen,very comfortable. We had a fantastic ocean view and could watch the sunrise in the morning. During the days we could see turtles in the bay below us. Walking distance to a swimable beach, shops and dining options was great as well.

Exactly what we needed!

The property was as advertised and more. Nice kitchen appliances, ample comfy living room, dining area, and deck furniture. Ample bedding and pillows. Sound of the surf so comforting. Morning coffee with my crochet overlooking the water. The unit cooling off as the sun moved to the other side of the building in the afternoon. Walk around the building onto the seaside lawn for sunset. Best fish on the island literally next door! Couldn’t ask for more, and we’d love to return the next time we need a Hawaiian-style staycation from Oahu:). UOh — and we used the binoculars for bird watching at Kilauea Lighthouse Wildlife Refuge and at Waimea Canyon. Thank you to the owners for a lovely place to unwind.

Super clean and cute Koloa condo

Condo 404 in Kuhio Shores suited our needs perfectly. The place was well maintained, very clean, charmingly furnished and the king bed was amazingly comfortable. The views of the ocean and shoreline were lovely! The condo’ s owner was very helpful and easy to communicate with, which made the check-in process a breeze. The only slight downside is that Lawai road that Kuhio Shores is located on, is a pretty busy and noisy road, especially since the Beach House bar and grill is right by there. Luckily, this condo is at the opposite end of the building, away from the loud music of the bar. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and Koloa/Poipu is now our favorite area on the island!

Perfection

Beautiful property. Exactly as pictured. The view is unbeatable. The constant sound of waves crashing outside was so relaxing. And the sea turtles swimming below us were amazing. It's a quiet building in a great location. Steps to several beaches. A short drive to town, poipu beach and amazing hiking. I can't find anything negative about it except that we had to leave... I almost cried lol.

It doesn't get better than this!

We had a wonderful Kauai vacation -- owing lots to the fact that we were in the perfect place in an outstanding location! We loved loved loved the condo. Spent every morning watching the sunrise from the lanai -- and every evening we made sure to watch the GORGEOUS sunsets! One week was not nearly enough, there was so much to see and do. One definitely needs to spend down time sitting on the balcony watching the turtles in the little bay next door. The place is darling, loved the kitchen. We really appreciated having access to beach towels, beach chairs, the cooler, etc. The host thought of everything! Thank you again! We will be back!

Wonderful condo in perfect location!

We had an amazing visit. The condo was so comfortable, relaxing and had everything we needed. It was the perfect place to call home for a week. Checking in and out and the communication with the owner was very easy. The bed was comfortable and there was air conditioning in the bedroom. We slept great each night. We loved spending our mornings and evenings on the balcony listening to and watching the waves crash. The living room had air conditioning too, but the ocean breeze from the floor to ceiling windows was so nice, we didn’t really need it. It was also really nice having beach chairs and an umbrella to take with us to the beach. The location was perfect. It made it easy to explore every part of the island. We are already trying to figure out when we can come back and visit again. We will definitely want to stay here again.

Good Choice for Kaua’i

Property was clean, great AC for those humid hot days. Centrally located to Poipu Beach, area restaurants. We watched Hawaiian Green Turtles frolic in the waters right below our waterfront condo. As a side note, Would highly recommend making your restaurant reservations prior to arrival. Most of the well known/frequented restaurants had no walk in capacity. Our host, Jane, was prompt with any inquiries we had. I would recommend this property to others. We would recommend this property.

Great ocean views

Pros- This condo is in a great location, the parking is great, it has all your basic needs, the lanai gives you a beautiful view of the ocean, AC units in the living area and bed room were nice, elevator is very convenient, beach chairs and towels were available, and it is very spacious. The owner is also very responsive and responds to messages quickly! Cons- everything is very outdated, check in instructions were a little lacking, and we could never figure out the WiFi because the code in the welcome book is different from the check in guide and the owner messaged me a completely separate one - none worked and we could’ve kept trying more but it wasn’t our biggest priority.

Beautiful Condo and Gorgeous View

We really enjoyed our stay here. The top floor view was beautiful, the people all friendly and the staff was so helpful when we had questions. The condo was so cute and tastefully decorated. I would definitely stay there again.
