Fabulous all around! The location was spectacular. Just a short walk down to the beach for boogie boarding and snorkeling. The grounds were beautiful and onsite activities (pool and tennis/pickleball courts) were great fun. The condo was beautifully maintained, very comfortable and well stocked will all the essentials. The host was fantastic with communication, check in was a breeze. And then any question during the stay were answered lightning fast! We definitely recommend.

A week in paradise

We had such a fabulous time staying at the Nihi Kai Villas in Poipu. Our stay was very comfortable and pretty accurate to what the listing had shown. There were a couple of times where we needed some assistance and the online text were very prompt and helpful. We would certainly recommend this villa to anyone interested in staying.Missing Kaua’i already!!!

Perfect

Well stocked kitchen, comfy beds, good linens. Lots of fans to keep cool at night. Pool was excellent and beaches a short walk away. Plenty of beach chairs, cooler and umbrella. Bathrooms are all downstairs with the bedrooms which is kind of hard to tell from the pics. Overall very pleased.

Great getaway, perfect location.

We stayed at this condo for our babymoon and it was the perfect getaway! From start to finish, everything was super easy and smooth—exactly what we needed for a relaxing trip. The condo was just right for our little family of three, and the location couldn’t have been better. Everything in the listing was exactly as described, if not better. We made such special memories here and truly felt at home. We’re already looking forward to coming back again—next time as a family of four!

Poipu Beach House

Nice place and we loved the location. It was well furnished with everything we needed. We had some difficulty with the microwave door getting stuck and not opening. That happened twice although it was promptly fixed both times. We also could not get the TV to work but they sent a technician to fix it, which he did. It's not necessarily anyone's fault, but we felt we spent too much time waiting for things to get fixed. For the money spent, it was a little disappointing.

Beautiful location

We had a lovely stay in this unit. The location could not be beat and access to the pool was easy. The unit was well stocked and provided a nice home base while we were in Poipu. The fans were essential in staying cool at night.

Nice, relaxing stay

Very comfortable place with all the amenities we wanted. We were able to walk to the beaches, the restaurants, and one of the coastal hikes. Nice pool area. Well manicured grounds. Easy drive to and from the airport.

Clean, lovely & convenient location but busy complex

The good: The condo was clean & nicely decorated. This particular condo had a surprising amount of privacy with views of the lovely landscaping. All the appliances worked and the kitchen cookware was well stocked. The location was great and the kids really enjoyed the pool. The not so good: The condo is older & the downstairs orange carpet really needs replacement. The patio had zero sound-proofing from the adjacent patios and our neighbors were on their patio all the time. It was like having guests we couldn't see. Although the fans helped, not having A/C made it a bit too warm at night if we closed the windows to reduce sound. The condos in the complex are packed in tight, which felt crowded (it was Spring Break).

Great location

Loved this condo. It was clean, easy to get to, close short walk to the beach. They had beach chairs, some toys and snorkel gear for kids and adults, towels, umbrella etc. would recommend this as a great place to stay and would stay here again.

Great place to stay!

My husband and I thought the villa was wonderful! It had everything we needed and the wagon and beach necessities were a plus! The listing does not show that both bathrooms are showers only, so if you are traveling with small children that is something to be aware of. Otherwise the property management was extremely helpful when I had questions. And there were plenty of places to eat within the vicinity of the villa!

Unit 601 Nihi Kai Resort Poipu

This unit was advertised as capable to accommodate six people but in reallity was only capable of five. The two bedrooms were downstairs in the walkout basement. One bedroom had a king foam mattress which was totally uncomfortable with little to no support. The other bedroom had two single beds with cheap mattresses which were very uncomfortable. On the main floor was a an L shaped couch which was supposed to sleep two but could only accomodate one person. So we had to put the kids there, however they were unable to get flights and never arrived. We had absolutely no communication with anyone regarding the unit, the office did not help at all. The parking lot did not have assigned parking & it was first come, first served with not enough stalls for the entire complex. The instructions to get to the parking lot were incorrect which led you to the neighbouring complex. They didn't mention that our unit was in building 6 out of the 8 buildings in the complex, very frustrating. The only good thing about the complex was the pool, even though it lacked a hot tub. The location of this complex was also pretty good and close to the public Poipu Beach with views of the beach from the pool. We would not recommend this unit to anyone, Rating is a 6 out of 10 as this unit was way overpriced.

House wasn’t clean, stains on bed sheets had to call house keeping to change sheets, after that I don’t feel like the house wasn’t clean from previous, house is hot need AC my kids couldn’t sleep complaining that’s hot.

Beautiful location

I can unreservedly recommend this location. Clean, bright, comfortable, with all the amenities from home. Five minute walk to the beach and other entertainment, short drive into Koloa for groceries and other shops. This is a great place to stay for families and couples as well as whole groups of friends.
