Bruce and Betty’s condo is beautiful and was perfect for our stay. They are extremely organized and the condo was fully equipped. Bed was very comfortable and place was meticulously clean. Hope to stay there again on future visits!

A perfect place to stay in Poipu

Fantastic place to stay in Kauai. Bruce and Betty were great to communicate with and they have put a lot of time and consideration into making sure you enjoy your visit. The bed was comfortable, kitchen fully stocked, premium hair/body soaps, laundry detergent, and lotions provided along with beach towels, chairs, snorkel sets, cooler, umbrella and almost anything you might need for your stay in Poipu. Bruce and Betty have decorated their condo with quality furniture and beautiful artwork and have even put together a welcome binder with tons of information about their unit as well as recommendations for things to do and places to eat in the area. This condo was just a short 3 minute drive to Poipu Beach and area restaurants.

Ten Days in Paradise

We loved staying at this spacious, clean , comfortable and beautifully decorated condo. Located close to Poipu beach and The Grand Hyatt at Shipwreck Beach made it easy to spend time at these stunning locations as well as exploring other parts of the island. This Condo is extremely well equipped with everything you need to enjoy gorgeous beaches and the kitchen has all the tools necessary to create basic and gourmet meals. The space was easily kept cool with ceiling fans. We never even considered using the air conditioning and thoroughly enjoyed the fragrant ocean breezes . Kauai is a beautiful island that offers many activities and this condo is the perfect place to come home to after a busy day!

Lovely Place. Exactly as pictured.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this Poipu Sands condo. It was July, and although the unit has LG type air conditioners in the bedroom and main living area, they were not required during our stay. Open windows, ceiling fans were sufficient, and the sound of the ocean can be heard at night.

Favorite Place on the Island

When visiting the island of Kauai we only stay in Poipu. This condo was well equipped and very clean. It's close to Poipu beach, walk a short distance to watch the turtles, and close to the Hyatt Resort. I would definitely stay at this condo again.

5 stars all the way!

This condo is top notch! The location can’t be beat , so close to the beach and walking trails and the pool is wonderful. Our host is an excellent communicator, all our questions were answered and Bruce is very accommodating to any request you might have. The condo was very clean and the bed super comfy. We enjoyed a kitchen that had all the dishes and utensils we required and loved the bbq that was close by. We loved this area of Poipu and will not hesitate to book with Bruce again next year!

Great one bedroom vacation

The location was wonderful, 25 minute drive from Lihue airport and about 10 minutes from a few good grocery stores and restaurants. We also were able to walk to a few beaches that were good for surfing, swimming, or snorkeling. There was also a great hike right outside. The owners had a binder with very helpful information for hiking places, medical services, grocery stores, restaurants, and many other things. We referenced that binder everyday. They also had beach chairs and snorkel gear which was very convenient. A cool breeze came right through the condo when the windows were open which kept us cool at night. Thank you for allowing us to rent your condo!

A Piece of Paradise

This is a wonderful ground floor condo in Poipu Sands. Beautifully decorated and with everything anyone might need for a vacation on Kauai. The Hosts, Bruce and Betty are extremely kind and attentive to their guests needs. Walk to the beautiful Grand Hyatt for food, beautiful grounds and beach. The Hyatt's Tidepools restaurant is not to be missed for special occasion dinning. We've stayed at the condo twice and will surely return. Incredibly high value for the cost. We only regret that there are only five stars with which to rate this excepional condo.

Perfect Location - Wonderful Stay

My husband and I stayed a week in the condo and had a wonderful time. The location was perfect for exploring south and west Kauai. Communication with Bruce was outstanding. The condo was clean and well stocked. We didn’t use the kitchen for cooking, as we ate out every day, but they had any appliance you would need. Bed was extremely comfortable. The grounds of the complex were beautiful and very well kept. We enjoyed using the pool after a day of exploring. Jogging/walking trails were onsite. Enjoyed watching the sunrise at Shipwreck Beach, which is right down a short path from the condo. We would definitely stay again when we return to Kauai. Mahalo!!

Amazing Kauai vacation!!

Thank you Bruce & Betty for the use of your amazing condo for our two-week vacation!! Parking was never an issue during our stay. We were always able to park directly in front of the condo literally next to or a space or two over from the sidewalk that led straight to the condo door. Location was great and allowed easy access to local beaches in the Poipu area. Loved being able to step outside the patio and have easy access to Shipwreck beach, walking paths, and BBQ grills. My husband is a Maintenance Director for 25,000+ rental units in the Pacific Northwest. He was very impressed with how well the condo is being maintained. The condo was very clean, water pressure was excellent, furniture (including the patio furniture) was comfortable. The kitchen is thoughtfully appointed with good quality pans and appliances. It was stocked with everything we needed and more than we have seen in any of the other vacation rentals have used during our previous trips to Kauai. We cook a lot of our meals when visiting and really appreciated the extras. Had enough paper towels for our entire stay. The provided Shampoo, Conditioner, Hand Soap, and lotion was good quality and we appreciated that little touch. We never ran out of TP during our stay. The condo is perfectly laid out to maximize and take advantage of the trade winds to keep the entire condo cool. We only used the bedroom AC a couple of nights and we used the living room AC once for about an hour one very hot afternoon. All the ceiling fans also help keep the air moving. We also appreciated the lights and fans on the patio. My husband and I had simultaneous video conferences and didn't have any connection issues. It easily supported what we both needed to work remotely. We appreciated the provided beach equipment. We made use of the beach towels, cooler, umbrella, and extra beach bags both for the beach and any time we bought food or visited the local sunshine markets. We have our own snorkeling equipment so we didn't use the provided snorkeling sets or beach chairs. Bruce was quick to respond when we had a question and the provided 'blue' book in the condo was helpful and contain condo and local information. My husband and I will definitely rent this condo again when it's just us visiting and not the whole family.
