The ocean view from the patio was even better than it looked it in the listing. It was a lovely spot to sit and read, watch the ocean and listen to the birds. You can walk to several beaches in about 10 minutes.

Susan, the host, is very responsive and helpful. The location of the property is excellent - close to several beaches, restaurants, and stores and the view from the top-floor linai is great. The interior of the unit is relatively comfortable, but it could use some updating.

This condo has it all! The entire condo is spacious with a separate bedroom and bathroom, kitchen, eating area and living room. The view from the deck is a great partial ocean view. Very serene. The condo had all the beach tools we needed - chairs, umbrella, cooler, etc. The resort is large but quiet. It is beach side with a large grassy area for enjoying the ocean view or for children and adults to run around. We would definitely stay here again!

The property was exactly as it was described. We particularly loved that the AC worked great and that there were ceiling fans in both the living room and bedroom. There were also 2 tower fans that helped a lot too. Ice maker worked great and we appreciated the Brita for water. The variety of beach gear was great, but we particularly appreciated the cooler. The kitchen could've used a few cooking basics (i.e. salt/pepper, oil, sugar, etc.). Overall, we had a great stay and could not recommend this property enough. We'd certainly stay here again.

Wonderful stay in a gorgeous area. Clean very nice one bedroom unit. The lanai view was superb. The owners Jack and Susan responded well and quickly to any issue The bedroom bed was one of the most comfortable we’ve ever slept in. I do wish the bathroom could have been larger but such was the unit design. Only only negative is there is only one AC unit in living room that does a mediocre job cooling the bedroom though they do provide plenty of extra fans

Highlights of the property: great location, walkable to several local beaches, the bed was very comfortable and AC worked well, the beach amenities were nice to have, felt safe, great balcony viewsWe did find a cockroach in the bathroom, but they were spraying for pest prevention during our stay. One of the beach chairs and snorkel sets were broken. The host is very responsive and very friendly!

Great stay!

The property was exactly as described and in an excellent location. Susan was very attentive and proactive with communication regarding check in and provided helpful tips on dining options and shopping near the property. Though most of the place stayed cool with the A/C in the general area, it was tough to cool down the bedroom/bathroom -- but there was a nice ceiling fan in the bedroom. The roosters were a little loud at times, but there's nothing that can be done about that -- it's just part of the charm of being in Kauai. It was super nice to not have a list of chores to do upon check out as is normally the case with most VRBO's. Overall, it was a great stay and would strongly recommend!

Home Away From Home

Our host made us feel very welcome! Our condominium was peaceful with a good view of the ocean. It was private and enjoyable.

Great Location and Great Amenities

We had a wonderful time at this condo. It was conveniently located to beaches and activities. The grounds were lovely and we really appreciated the grassy area and beautiful beach, with the “beach shack” to get fresh towels and rent equipment. It was also just a short stroll to Poipu Beadh. The condo was equipped with beach gear, but the snorkel gear could have been better maintained. The condo had AC which we used at night to block the rooster noise, but most of the time we didn’t need it because the air flow in the condo was incredible! The kitchen was well equipped, although we would have appreciated some basic spices and the like. It also could have been a bit cleaner, some of the dishes were dirty, probably from a prior guest jamming too many into the dishwasher. Overall, an excellent location. The hosts were very communicative and welcoming.

Amazing, our 4th stay clean comfortable with a spectacular view

The one bedroom unit we stayed 2 weeks in is fantastic, well equipped with all necessary cooking and beach equipment. The hosts are very nice. Kiahuna Plantation is very beautiful and the staff quite friendly, the fitness facility is awesome as is the pool. We love swimming and bogie boarding and sitting on the beach. Everything is top notch!

We had an amazing visit! The property was easy to find and centrally located. We walked to food and beaches in less than five minutes. The lanai was beautiful and the AC worked great. Parking was right at the unit and so convenient. We even were granted some extra time to check out and the owners checked on us to make sure all was well! Will definitely be back.
