Honeymoon in Paradise!

Our stay was absolutely amazing! The cottage was fantastic and exactly what we needed for our honeymoon stay here in Kaua’i. The area is quiet and perfect for a slower pace vacation. We will definitely rebook for our next Kaua’i trips!

Great couple’s hideaway!

We celebrated the 50th anniversary of our first date at the Hale Lo’i Cottage. It was a great location and lodging for a couple for the last week of a month in Hawaii. The cottage is perfect for a couple with ample space, storage and amenities. Great quiet neighborhood location walkable to dining and shopping options. A variety of nice beaches within a few minutes drive among many other area attractions. Wailani Kauai was a very responsive rental agency that was very welcoming and helpful beyond the booking.

Cozy cottage

The cottage was perfect for the two of us on our honeymoon! Amenities were great (washer/dryer was extremely useful). Bathroom was also nice—the shower was noteworthy. Everything was well stocked from welcome gifts and wine openers to utensils and coffee. The bed was a little finicky, hut we ended up taking off the foam topper which helped a lot. Prime location too! Poipu and Kōloa are awesome places to be on the island!!!

Best Honeymoon Spot I Could’ve Picked

Everything about this property was perfect for honeymoon lodging: very clean and organized, spacious for a couple, convenient amenities (including full sized bath products for guests to use that smell and feel great!), very cute and quiet neighborhood, comfortable furniture, and very quick responses from the owner. We were always in the loop if something happened on the property (they let us know their AC units were inoperable, so they put portable AC units in the bedroom and living room that worked just as good). When we arrived, we even received some treats as a welcome gift for our honeymoon. Lots of shops, beaches, restaurants, and activities nearby as well. I wouldn’t have stayed anywhere else. We will definitely recommend this spot to anyone staying in the Poipu area, and we will surely be back as well!

No outdoor space

Clean, yet generic space. No outdoor patio, garden or anywhere we could sit to have morning coffee or evening wine. Once returning to our rental, we could have been anywhere. We had to leave to enjoy being in Hawaii. Long walk to closest beach along a busy road. Not really something we wanted to do daily.

Perfect for two!

Quiet, safe neighborhood situated near restaurants and shops and short walk to the ocean! We were kindly welcomed with a bottle of wine, cookies and a Bouquet, a very nice touch! Comfortable bed and just the right size gor 2! The garage is definitely a perk, and we had a remote and vode for easy access. They also sipplied a nice size cooler, beach chairs and umbrella! There's a water hose that we used to wash the red dirt off our hiking boots! Nearby is a walking path that guides you through some beautiful scenery next to a golf course. My husband fell in love with the outdoor shower! The only negative was the television reception was often poor, but, management was very responsive and attempted to solve this problem. We, of course, weren't here for tv so definitely didn't ruin our stay! They were very quick to respond to all our requests. Overall an exceptional property and location! We would stay here again!

A clean and welcoming property that is beautifully appointed with high end finishes and Hawaiian photography. Furniture is very comfortable. Laundry is handy - don’t overpack! Upon arrival we found a lovely note from the property manager, bottle of wine, snacks and ground coffee. Do not leave food out - ants will find it. Management took care of this immediately. Beautiful indoor shower/bath as well as outdoor. Safe and quiet neighborhood with many large estate properties. Walkable neighborhood and excellent location. Absolutely no complaints! It was perfect!

This is a wonderful property. The only problem that we had was finding it in the dark. There are no street lights and the address is faint and high on the side of the house. Most of the other houses on the cul-de-sac had addresses at street level at the edge of the driveways. We finally had to knock at a neighbor's door and they were kind enough to help us find it after searching with their flashlight .

Perfect in Koloa!

This little home away from home was just perfect for the two of us. We were here for a week for our 28th anniversary and it was all that the listing said and more! Our time here was special and we will not forget this place for future bookings. The location was great and the amenities were exactly what we expected, amazing. The bed was comfy and the hosts were welcoming and set the tone of our time here from the time of check in until the morning that we left. It was truly a great stay and we were sad to leave. Mahalo!

I had the most delightful stay at this one-bedroom cottage! From the moment I stepped inside, I was impressed by the impeccable cleanliness and the welcoming ambiance. Paradise!

This cottage is immaculate!! We loved our stay here!! Perfect location! We never wanted to leave Kauai!! I could live in this beautiful cottage for the rest of my life! We would come home from sunset on the beach and it happened to be a full moon that week and we would use the outdoor lava rock shower that was lit by the moonlight!!

Perfect Poipu Cottage

This is the perfect cottage for two people. It's roomy, comfortable, and in the best location - close to everything! The kitchen allows for cooking, the laundry machines are great for longer stays, the AC was wonderful and the outdoor shower is an added touch. The communication with the management company was easy. Excellent Poipu Stay

We had a wonderful week in Poipu and were very pleased with the accommodations. Very quiet location within minutes of great snorkeling and restaurants. We also went up to Waimea Canyon, which was a beautiful drive, and went on the Canyon Trail hike. The hosts also included a binder with very useful information about the island, including recommendations for restaurants, activities, and places to visit. We highly recommend this place!

Very nice place and stay

This property was by far, the best vacation rental we’ve experienced. We trace quite a bit, and are landlords ourselves. This property was well-put together and equipped. I met the owners upon check in accidentally, and they were very nice people. The neighborhood is fabulous and close to many conveniences like shopping or eating out. We will definitely return someday.

Perfect spot in Poipu

We loved our stay here! The place is clean, comfortable, and overall really nice. The location is excellent — close to beaches, restaurants, shops and in a nice, quiet neighborhood. I would most definitely stay here again! My only issue that I’d knock off half a star off for is that it’d get a little warm at night. I woke up hot nearly every morning. A lighter weight blanket and a full length mirror would be nice additions.

Beaches Activities and comfortable bed.

We loved staying in the this neighborhood away from the hustle and bustle of the condominiums yet close to snorkeling beaches, quality hiking, gardens, spouting horn and short drive from Lihue. Clean and comfortable. The photo art I. The rooms set the mood. Did I mention that the bed was most comfortable.
