Everything was great about this condo. Only complaint which is NOT to fault the location - because it was a ground floor unit, you could hear everything above you! Otherwise, great place with all the amenities you could need (boogie boards, beach towels, wagon, cooler, coffee maker with filters, etc.)

Nice Condo. The only problem was the cable stopped working for a day but was corrected.The toilet handle in the master bathroom sticks so the toilet runs unless one corrects it manually.

Great location

The condo was clean and comfortable. Needs a few updates. Some of the blinds didnt work and definetly needs a new coffee maker but overall great location close to everything in poipu. The people upstairs were very loud every night and all the way up to 2 am very inconsiderate. I have no idea what they were doing sounded like jumping and a lot of running.

Weekend family wedding

The apartment was exactly as advertised. We really enjoyed our stay. We did have an issue checking in as the electronic lock was not working, but after some time with the 800 number we were able to access it with a key. The property manager did a good job of communicating with us and getting it fixed.

Spacious condo in a great location

Overall excellent property, it was very clean and tidy. The AC was great to have during the warm weather. The bathroom in the master was great. Only negative is that it doesn’t have many great views out of any of the windows, but there is one of the best beaches on the island a three minute drive away.

Good not great

Pros:Incredibly spacious and great location close to restaurants shops beaches coffee etc. air conditioning and ceiling fans(which wasn’t needed too much bc Kauai is breezy and cool) Great space for families and ones with little kids Great Beach toys and beach equipment Lovely short walk to beaches Pools were okay. Small. Beds were comfortable and big Loved having A full kitchen with utensils and everything we needed Washer and dryer was a huge plus Cons: Patio door really a pain to open and close. This should be fixed immediately A map of which pools are for the regency would of been nice and where they are located along with what keys go for pool/tennis courts etc Couch was very uncomfortable. It felt like it was outdoor furniture. The cushions kept sliding around. Clear marked parking spots. We were unsure what parking spot to park in bc the numbers were not painted clearly The pliers on the faucet for the master bath. Gross and a really bad look. This is something that can easily fixed. Also the bath tubs were not clean The NOISE- I’ve lived in apartments/town homes condos etc Been to many hotels around the world; however this was absolutely the worst. The young adults upstairs were playing a full on foot ball game up there at 9pm. The loudest I’ve ever heard. The random termite inspection that forced us out of the condo for several hours was the worst

Clean, Comfortable...would choose again

We loved this property. My husband and I stayed there with our two teenage boys. Clean is a must for me, and this place was great. The kitchen was well-stocked. It lacked for nothing that I needed to prepare meals. The thoughtful extras, like boogie boards, beach chairs and umbrellas were so nice. The welcome treats were the cherry on top. We would absolutely book this place again!!

Poipu Vacay

Great location, clean and good size for four adults. Kitchen well stocked with cooling utensils but only cooking spice was a small shaker of pepper didn’t even have salt, cooking oil would have been nice. Had to work with a big mgmt company multiple messages to with slow response and wanted to know what time it was where we were? Beds were very comfortable everything was clean and comfortable.

Great location, comfortable condo

The condo was well equipped and stocked with everything we needed to enjoy Poipu. Check in was seamless and all the information we needed, like pool access and parking, was clearly described. Would stay here again.

Great easy access and location

This is a spacious condo with a great open floor plan. A few things to note, it was not stocked with basic essentials, napkins, salt/pepper, shampoo, or bath soap. Being a downstairs unit, there was a family with little ones staying upstairs and the floors are REALLY thin along with parents that aren't the brightest or just Oblivious to common decency- by letting the little one run back and forth all day and night, this was early morning, mid day and until 8/9 PM. Over all we would stay again and pray we're not vacationing with family with smaller kids above.

Great, very kid friendly

Great, very kid friendly with step stool, kid sand toys, etc. Easy access to beaches, pool. Check in with code, no need to go to a desk and get keys, so very efficient and easy. Rental car included was great bonus and all organized for us automatically.

Nice condo, but those VRBO fees!! Just a giant tip.

Easy check in, nice unit. Decor and furnishings are too dated, there are not enough outlets and USB charging ports. Very Noisy neighbors on second floor above this unit, you can hear all of their footsteps, sounds like a buffalo stampede. Also the cleaners use a horrible ammonia product that makes the place smell strongly of dog or cat urine. They need to completely switch products, no more ammonia!

Great Poipu Location

Large, lovely condo in the Poipu Kai resort. The condo was clean, and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The A/C was a huge plus as it was hot and humid during our stay. About a 10 minute walk down a beautiful green belt takes you to the beach. Assigned parking right in front of the unit. Two small but nice pools. My only complaint is we could hear heavy footsteps from the unit above us. They were unfortunately early risers and woke us up most mornings. Not sure what if anything can be done about that. Overall we loved our stay!

Great place!

This condo was really spacious, clean and came with everything we needed. The air conditioning worked well and was appreciated. There were boogie boards, sand toys, beach chairs, small cooler and beach umbrella in the closet. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything needed for cooking. Beds were comfortable. It was extremely nice to have a washer/dryer. We heard absolutely no noise from other units. Location was very convenient for exploring the island and so close to Poipu beach. We would definitely stay again.

Great place but noisy from upstairs guest

Nice unit with comfortable amenities, very clean and the management staff is very responsive. They even provided a late checkout, with a fee, because we had a late flight. So glad the unit had A/C. Now the negatives. You live with the folks in the unit above. You hear every foot step, every chair pulled out from under the dining table or patio chair and more. When you can sleep depends on when they go to sleep. When you wake is when they wake. The folks upstairs are not being obnoxious, they are just simply living and you hear it all. It made for a horrible experience and significantly impacted our first trip to Hawaii. We saw and experienced many beautiful sites and places, unfortunately our home base was the low point of our trip. Management did offer to refund the remaining nights of our stay, unfortunately we were unable to find a different place. If peace and quiet are important to you, I highly recommend looking elsewhere or a place on the second floor.

This place was a fantastic stay--close to the beach, super comfortable, and spacious and came with everything we needed (including tupperware for us to take snacks with us to the beach or on hikes!). Loved it! And the staff was super responsive to questions!

Great unit and location

We were 4 adults (2 couples) and this unit was perfect for us. The unit provides beach chairs, a beach umbrella, and beach towels. Having the washer and dryer in the unit was a big plus. The short walk on the "greenbelt" to the beaches made it easy for us to access the beaches and local restaurants. The management folks were super responsive and courteous.

Fantastic Rental!

We had a wonderful time for the time we spent on Kauai here. There were a bunch of nice extras like snacks, coffee and supplies for washing clothes. The area surrounding the condo was beautiful and only a quick walk to the water (about 10-12 minutes down the path). Would definitely recommend if you are in the area and looking for an affordable + comfortable rental. Fit 4 people very well and plenty of space in the living room! Loved the lanai in the morning with a cup of coffee :)

Cozy condo

The Regency was a lovely condo unit to rent. There was a fully functional kitchen and a large living space. The two bedrooms were more than enough space for our family and the washing machine/dryer is always a bonus. The pool and restaurants were close enough to easily walk to in all kinds of weather. We did encounter difficulties as the fridge stopped working during our stay. This was remedied quickly with an exchange of the appliance. I would recommend staying in this facility, in particular to families visiting Kauai.

Beautiful condo! Great location!

Our group of 4 loved our stay. The condo was within walking distance from the beach and short drive or walk to many restaurants. The condo had everything we needed for a day at the beach - beach towels, small cooler, 3 beach chairs. The reason I did not give it 5 stars is because the rental agency contacted me saying they were “wondering if it was ok with you if we could have maintenance pop in for about 5 minutes to take measurements for the fridge. If your not at the condo maintenance have their key to get in.” I told them I would prefer if we were there when maintenance entered and we would be back that evening. They replied “Aloha folks we do understand our maintenance leaves at 4pm today. perhaps they can come by tomorrow ? They start at 9am.” I missed this text because I was on a boat in the North Shore and the next morning I didn’t have cell service because I was hiking/ helicopter ride. I didn’t hear from them again for 2 days when they said “Wanted to inform you that our maintenance staff need to stop in today for about 5 minutes to get measurements for the refrigerator.” I replied with a time frame that worked for us and their response was “Our maintenance manager already went and got the measurements that he needed.” I was shocked. They already went in. Without our permission? What if we had been napping? We also had valauables sitting out. I thought this was VERY unprofessional. They could have at least informed us the hours the maintenance was going to stop by. If the measurements for the fridge had to happen during our stay they should have told me that in the first text. They made it seem like it didn’t have to happen, that they just wondering if it was okay. Also, they should have given us more scheduling info. We were out of the condo every morning by 6am for an activity and sometimes not back to the evening. The last thing you want to do on vacation is schedule time to be at your condo. Lastly, do not pay for the membership to the health/beach club (unless you have kids). We went one time and it’s basically a children’s playground. The pool is outdated and not as nice as the pictures make it seem. We didn’t try the workout classes but they did look fun.
