Everything was great! There were lots of amenities: toys, chairs, an umbrella, etc. and a wagon to haul everything to the beach. The kitchen was well stocked and there were plenty of towels, etc.

Nice property convienient location

Had a wonderful time at Manualoha 608. Due to louvre doors on bedrooms and open primary suite open to space below, limited privacy. Beautiful views from decks. A/C was very helpful and made the space very pleasant due to warmer summer temps and humidity.. Looking to stay in 2026 for a month.

Great area and spacious unit, but...

Pros: We loved the location and grounds. We could walk to Brenneke's, Shipwreck and Poipu beach through beautifully landscaped grounds. The unit is large and the decks are nice. The kitchen was well stocked, the suite had lots of beach toys, and the beds were comfy. Cons: I don't mind dated, but the cooktop stove handles were so badly stripped there was no way to tell how hot or cold, or on or off the elements were. After one disastrous attempt to use it we gave up cooking. The dishwasher was so old the racks had holes in them from rust, large enough that dishes could actually fall through. The coffee machine hadn't been cleaned and the free cookies were open and half consumed. There was no blind on the window in our kids room, allowing anyone at or near the front door to see into the room. We reported our issues and the company, Vacasa, got back to us quickly. They replaced the coffee machine and cookies and without us asking they sent a partial refund. Apparently the stove and dishwasher are scheduled to be replaced. Hopefully the blind too. I appreciated the quick replies from them. I would book with them again, but not this unit until it's fixed.

Turtles!!

Great location! Stocked kitchen even though we did not cook this trip. It was hot at first but was able to place fans to circulate air. Clean and spacious! Came with extra ‘stuff’ to enjoy the beach!

Location and Solitude

We stayed for two weeks at this Manualoha rental in the Poipu area. We enjoyed the 7 to 10 minute walk to the busy beautiful beaches. We enjoyed returning to the solitude of the pool which can only be entered by Manualoha guests that have the entry key. Sometimes we were the only people at the pool! The home was very comfortable and the large lanai was a beautiful place to relax. The master bedroom with large closet and shower was a bonus. Some of the appliances are showing their age but still work! Had a great stay!

Desperate for Updates

Lots of potential, but unfortunately very disappointing. Pros: -Location, location, location. Walk to multiple beaches and restaurants/bars -Fully stocked kitchen -Washer and dryer Cons: -In desperate need of some TLC. Ripped blinds, old and chipped paint, stained carpets, wicker chairs with tears, nasty tiles in the master shower, and a rusty dishwasher. Just didn’t feel clean or cared for. -Internal privacy: Take note that the listing does say the master is a loft. I appreciate the honestly there but they fail to say how open the rest of the unit is. The master bathroom doors have wooden slats for air movement which means you can hear everything happening in the bathroom from anywhere in the condo. The downstairs room is also not private, just a sliding door with slats. -External privacy: Due to no air conditioning there are open windows to the outside. When entering the unit you can hear everything going on in other units and in the mornings we could hear kids from other units. -Door Lock: After traveling all day to get to Kauai, the code we were given did not work. Vacasa did not answer the phone but thankfully were responsive via texting. It took about 20 minutes to get a code that worked, but then the lock was finicky the rest of the trip and we kept wondering if each time we left if we were gonna be able to get back in.

Nice location but needs updating

In a beautiful location, but definitely needs updating. Dishwasher was all rusted out. The master bedroom TV didn’t work, but they replaced it but never programmed it. The master bath shower was clogged. Two adults and two infants staying in the downstairs bedroom. Got eat up my bugs. Not sure why.

Coffee on the Lanai

We enjoyed our stay in Poipu. It was such a short walk to the beach each day. We walked to dinner at a nearby restaurant one night. The huge lanai was pleasant to enjoy our morning coffee together.

Great Poipu location!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! It was fun to watch the green sea turtles beach for the night only to depart at dawn. We will stay again!

Location

Walking distance to the beach and eating areas. Close to the zip lining location which is I why I chose this for our family to stay at. Happy they had floor fans as well as ceiling fans. The goodies was a nice surprise! Will definitely stay here again!

Lovely rental!

Gorgeous property, with an easy 10 minute walk to the beach. Welcome goodies were a thoughtful and delicious touch. The master bedroom is a loft, open to the downstairs, allows you to hear the kids on the sofa bed talking at night when they should be sleeping 😉. Not a criticism, but the only spices available are salt and pepper, so bring what you need. We really enjoyed sitting on one of the 3 lanais, especially in the evening. Very comfortable.

Just what we needed

We had a wonderful stay in this condo. The location in Poipu/Koloa was ideal. Plenty of fun restaurants and stores very near by (even a fresh fruit stand within walking distance to stock up). Just a very short walk to an amazing beach, with all the essentials you may need right in the closet - chairs, umbrella, snorkels, fins, boogie boards and even a cooler. Condo was clean and beds were comfortable. All soaps, shampoos, lotions and cleaning and paper supplies were stocked. Never missed the A/C, as the trade winds brought fresh air (with the provided fans) and bird songs inside. The Britta water filter was a welcome addition to fill water bottles before heading out for the day. Would absolutely return to this home away from home!

Great location, Spacious and bright condo with private lanai

Easy check in and check out, loved the welcome goodies:) Nice unit, although a little outdated, but the furnishings were beautiful and overall very clean. I only wished they had A/C. It did get breezy in the evenings so the trade winds were refreshing. Will be back!! Mahalo!🌺

We had trouble with the wifi other then that it was a great place to stay. A little dated, but worked perfect for our needs. Washer/dryer was newer and worked great. Good location, super close to Poipu beach. The kids loved the cookies and chocolates they had as a welcome gift, that was a very nice touch.

Wonderful holiday week in Poipu

High points: * Well equipped, including kitchen and beach equipment * Wonderful master loft/suite * Plentiful parking * 4-minute walk to Brenneke’s Beach and Poipu Beach * Walk to some restaurants/pubs Needs improvement: * Kitchen knives were dull, duller, dullest. Dangerous! Please get them sharpened. Wonderful stay! Thank you.

Wonderful!

Really nice property in a great location. Even with no AC, there was a lovely cross breeze and there are lots of overhead and portable fans. Super close to a wonderful deregulate pool with views of the ocean, and quick walk to Poipu Beach. Extremely quite, day and night. Had everything we needed and more. Will definitely be back! Book your stay today :)

Quiet, private, and peaceful

This was our first visit to Kauai. We spent a lot of time researching properties and decided on Manualoha 608 and we are happy with our decision. The property was big enough for me, my wife, 3 teenage boys, and our baby. Down stairs has 1 bedroom with two small beds... just fine for teens. Front room has fold out couch/bed which we did use and it was comfortable. Master bed is big and comfortable. There is a collapsible crib which was nice to have available. Kitchen had all our basic needs. Sadly there is some damage to the counter top... but that did not get us down. All the appliances (stove, microwave, dishwasher, oven, refrigerator) worked great. We cooked for almost every meal. BBQ outside is fantastic. There are some basic beach gear in the closet that was very nice to have... chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, etc. Thank you for that! There are also several books and games under the "wet" bar. I appreciated the Kauai Guide Book (I read nearly the whole thing)! Hard to remember is the listing mentioned that this unit is on the 2nd floor... a few stairs but no big deal. Never really heard noise from the adjacent units, very quiet. Plenty of covered parking. The pool is a short walk from the unit. We really enjoyed the pool and used it every day. The grounds are very well kept. The unit itself could use some updating (door knobs, towel bars, faucets, screens, door maintenance) but this did not bother us. Flooring is partially tile (great) and partially carpet (not as great). It would be nicer if it was all tile. The unit does not have AC (typical for Kauai?). The first night was hot and sweaty but once we got the fans running we were fine. We used the lanai everyday; private, nice view of the ocean. Thanks for the stay! Our family really enjoyed it!
