Great stay!

We were all very pleased with the accommodations for our 3 generation "girls trip"! The condo was comfortable with AC, well stocked kitchen, very comfortable beds, great pool (although not heated as advertised). The grounds were very well kept and the location was great! We would have loved a bigger lanai.

Ideal property for a family vacation

Fantastic location in the heart of Poipu. Pili Mai is a lovely condominium community with all the amenities you would expect from a newly developed property. Lovely grounds, family-friendly pool compound, and fabulous views. We will be back!

Great location and views

The condo was very well kept and clean. The welcome basket is a very nice touch. It's close to Poipu beach, shopping, and restaurants. The view overlooking the golf course was beautiful. We really enjoyed having to use their beach chairs and equipment instead of having to rent them. Overall, very nice condo. We would definitely stay there again.

Fantastic Accommodation

This is a 5 star accommodation. The condo is very comfortably furnished, location is excellent and local Vacasa staff was very attentive to our needs. This is the very best in Poipu Beach,

Kauai vacation

We enjoyed our stay. The condo was perfect. Loved having our breakfast on the balcony and even had some beautiful birds stop by to see what we were eating. It was nice having the pool so close by.

Great Kauai home away from home

The property was perfect. The location is central to shopping and an easy drive to anywhere on the island. The condo was just the perfect size for our family. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to be able to have meals. The pool facility is fantastic and right next door. The only detriment is the parking since there is limited visitor spots, but still totally manageable.

Cozy and Comfortable Condo

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It was clean upon arrival and had everything we needed to enjoy our vacation. We would definitely stay here again. There is no designated parking spot, and the general guest parking spot in front of the unit was taken by other guests quite often. Not too big a deal since there is guest parking throughout the property, but sometimes we did end up parking a few buildings away. Overall, we were happy with our stay. The only hiccup was the laundry unit was broken when we arrived and throughout our stay, but the management group did compensate us for this inconvenience. That said, we would still recommend this rental to other travelers.

Just Fabulous

We absolutely loved our 2-week stay at Pili Mai. There were other VRBO listings in this condo area but we particularly appreciated this unit’s proximity to the pool, letting us easily use it daily… for a whole day or just popping over for an hour… or just using the BBQ grills to cook dinner, etc. The unit was very clean and had beautiful views. There was AC which was heaven-sent for our June visit. Not sure we could have rented a place sans AC. There is a cooling limit of 75 degrees because it’s so expensive there but it was better than nothing! The couch and chairs in the main room are more comfortable than they appear to be in the photos on VRBO. We loved the views and golf neighborhood walks. We had a couple issues (TV, ice-maker, washing machine) that were handled expeditiously by the property manager. Really really great communication and attention from Vacasa which was much appreciated. The main inconvenience was no washing machine for the 2-week stay so we had to drive to/from Lihue to spend time/money using a Laundromat… which - I get… things break and require time to receive a new unit… it was just a bummer to take time out of our vacay to go do that. Vacasa reimbursed us some $$ for the loss of an amenity. We appreciated the welcome snacks and access to the beach umbrella, body boards, beach chairs. Definitely used the fabulous kitchen to cook many meals. Great value… if we come back to Poipu we would definitely want to stay here again.

Perfect Kauai Condo

Super clean and spacious for our family of six. The kitchen is well equipped, and we really enjoyed having the boogie boards, beach toys, chairs, and cooler for our day excursions. Beautiful peekaboo view of the ocean from the lanai, and breathtaking mountains from the front porch. This unit is also close to the pool without being loud, which was a huge hit with our four kiddos. Short drive to Poipu beach or walk down to the shops and restaurants. Complex grounds are lovely and quiet. No road noise or rowdy neighbors. The only minor drawback is that the golf course maintains their grounds quite early, so we did hear machinery for about 15 minutes every morning. Not a big deal. Excellent stay! We will be back.

Peaceful Location

This was a great place to stay for our family of four! We come to the South side often and will be adding this to my list of preferred locations. It was a relaxing getaway and the view is very nice. This place has all amenities needed, and the kitchen is a gourmet kitchen, the only item I missed was a muffin tin for baking cupcakes for my daughter's birthday, but that wasn't a big problem since my ohana lives on the island. The home is conveniently located near the pool and fitness center. I would definitely consider returning here again!

family vacay

The property was perfect for us. i have 3 boys and they stayed in the upstairs room and loft. they slept comfortably on the bed and sofa bed. we had a great view of the ocean and golf course. . The condo had great cool breezes in the room, but we had air conditioning when needed. The kitchen was well stocked with essentials. The washing machine and dryer were top of the line. My only complaint was parking. We have a garage space, but its very small and we have to leave the car before we go in as it will be very tight. we have to close the side view mirrors to fit through the garage. there is only 1 visitor space near the property and most of the time is taken. besides that, we had a wonderful time in poipu kauai staying in your beautiful condo!

Condo With Golf Course View

This 2 bedroom condo was very clean and well kept. 1st and 2nd Floor bedrooms. The unit was well stocked with kitchen utensils and appliances, washer/dryer, beach accessories and included a single, small garage. Great view from the patio facing West onto the golf course - many nice sunsets. Although, the patio was small, and not well suited for larger gatherings. Pool was next door - and great BBQ facilities throughout the complex. Need to keep windows closed at night - golf course lawn movers outside your window every morning at 5:30 AM. Owner controls the A/C thermostat to a minimum setting of 75 DegF, which they lowered to 73 DegF upon request. This made it difficult to sleep. Disappointed with this, given the premium price we paid for the unit. All in all, a good experience.

Golf course condo in Poipu

Nice condo on Kiahuna Golf Course. Sitting on the lanai was enjoyable watching golfers and feeling the tropical breezes. Can see the ocean too. The sitting room was an extra bonus area. Beautiful Kauai pictures throughout the condo.

This was a great condo to share with friends. You had separation in sleeping accommodations, so everyone felt like they had their own privacy. Very clean, and nice location. Kitchen was well stocked. Only thing we wished we had was a water/ice tea pitcher. Only disappointment was the thermostat. It was locked at 75 degrees, and you could not lower beyond that temp. Frustrating for the price we paid - you should be able to set the air and heat to a comfortable temperature for the paying guest. Would of also liked access to basic cleaning supplies since our stay was 11 days. Wood floor swifter and bathroom cleaning supplies would of been appreciated. Overall, I would recommend this condo if you are visiting Kauai.
