Our stay at Regency at Poipu Kai was amazing. We had six adults and three kids (8,9,10). The unit really suited our needs for three separate families and the grounds were beautiful. Property management was extremely responsive and even accommodated us when our flights were canceled and we need to extend our stay. The unit had everything we needed, kitchen utensils (we only ate out once during our 16-day stay), games, towels, etc. There were plenty of beach towels, beach essentials (beach umbrellas, beach chairs, snorkeling gear, bodyboards, coolers, etc.) and a great wagon to carry it all. We walked to the beach every day and saw turtles (up to 30 at a time) and Monk Seals on Poipu Beach. The kids spent plenty of time at all three pools, which were clean and warm. We highly recommend this property *****

Great location on the path down to Poipu beach. Overall a pretty nice stay, though some maintenance seemed deferred: primary shower needs work, and stained, tired sectional probably needs replacing. For these top-dollar prices, we'd expect better.

Our socks and feet soles were very dirty from the floor and carpet. Bath floor off kitchen was dirty so we washed the floor. Also not enough bath towels for 10 people. Otherwise ok.

This condo at Regency Po'ipu Kai was the perfect home away from home for our group of nine! The kitchen was equipped with plenty of dishes, silverware & appliances for the many meals we ate in the condo. Previous guests had left behind some basic cooking needs such as salt, pepper, sugar, oil, so that was helpful. We utilized the washer (detergent provided) & dryer (brough our own dryer sheets) so I could take home clean clothes. The location was WONDERFUL! It was about a 5 minute walk to Brennecke & Poipu beaches and about a 10 minute walk to Shipwreck Beach and the Makawehi Lithified Cliffs, so we were able to view many sunrises and sunsets. Plus, we were able to admire the sea turtles. If you don't mind walking, it's close to Puka Dog, Shave Ice, Kalapaki Joe's, Poipu Shopping Center (Keoki's Paradise, Thai food, pizza, gelato, shops) and Brennecke's Beach Broiler. We even walked to the Shops at Kukui'ula one day so we could check out Lululemon. We did swim in the closest pool a couple times and utilized the grill for a hamburger meal. The condo provides beach towels, beach chairs, coolers, snorkel equipment, boogie boards and a wagon to haul it all! They also provided starter shampoo, conditioner, lotion and body wash. I didn't have to communicate too much with the hosts, but the couple questions I had were answered quickly and accurately. We highly recommend this condo if you are looking to spend a week on the beautiful island of Kauai!

We had a wonderful stay on Kauai! The location couldn’t have been better—super convenient to so many great spots around the island. The nearby beach was only a short, easy walk away, and the snorkeling in the area was excellent.The home itself was spacious, comfortable, and worked perfectly for our family. It had everything we needed and made our trip feel relaxed and easy. We would absolutely stay here again!

The Best Ever

There were 9 of us and the condo easily accommodated us. The kitchen was stocked with dishes, pans, etc., so well, and there were plenty of beach towels and other supplies. The location is perfect, with 2 shopping villages very close by, and the beach just a short walk. The resort property is gorgeous and well kept. The impressive thing of our entire stay was the responsiveness of the property manager, Peggy, the owner, Mike, and the helpfulness of the condo manager, Sheila. The focus on customer service was outstanding, and I have recommended this property to a family member for their future trip. Thank you for the hospitality and for making our stay on Kaua’i a memorable time!

Great property and location

We loved our first trip to Kuaui! The condo was the perfect size for our needs. My teenagers used the loft with 3 beds while we had the upstairs bedroom. The other bedrooms downstairs were for extended family. The 2 lanais were perfect to sit and drink a cup of tea or eat a meal. The kitchen was well equipped. The condo is an easy walk to Poipu beach with big waves for those that want them and a calm area with the sea turtles. Beautiful sunsets at Poipu as well. We loved walking to Shirpwreck beach for sunrises. The beach towels and beach equipment came in very handy! The owner and property manager were very responsive to us when the AC was not working and got us additional fans to help keep us comfortable.

Perfect condo for our family of nine, accommodations for everyone. Provided beach equipment was a plus for us. Very nice short walk to beaches. Also nice to be able to walk to Kalapacki Joes whenever for eats and drinks.Would stay here again in the future.

Let me start by saying that everything was exactly as stated in the Vrbo ad for this property and it was perfect for our family of 8. We stayed for 10 nights (actually only 9 because the airline robbed us of the first night!) It was my wife and I, my parents, my sister and her husband, and my brother and his wife. It was the perfect size and we never felt that we were in each other's way. Sure, it's an older property, but they keep it up very well. There are 3 pools to use and hot tubs on the property which are very nice and it's a short 10 minute walk to the beaches where we saw sea turtles every day, Hawaiian Monk Seals, and of course chickens. LOL. Couldn't ask for a nicer place and setting. Michael was a great host and very quick to respond to all of my questions! Thanks Michael !!!

Family vacation

This is a nice property and was very easy to get to as well as centrally located for our activities. Two beautiful beaches were within easy walking distance. The condo was clean but a little older so we felt comfortable just relaxing.
