"We arrived rather late (after 9.00pm), was a bit tricky to find in the dark, but we managed it! Greeted by Hilde - lovely lady. Took us to our rooms, which were lovely & comfortable & clean. Allowed full use of the lounge & kitchen. There were 3 of us (adults). Very spacious. Shower lovely. Breakfast choice amazing. We stayed here having visited Bruges. Would definitely return & recommend. "

"The water Was horrible. After shower your skin was greasy. The taste was the worse ever… The internet connection was very low. Not recommendable for business trip. "

"The staff and volunteer wardens work so hard to meticulously maintain this beautiful guest house that once served British soldiers during WWI. They also provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and a great breakfast featuring locally made pastries each morning. I hope to return to Talbot House soon. "Short 1 night stay to break up journey across Europe. Sadly breakfast not available, but plenty of places available a short walk from the premises. Check in and getting room key was straightforward with plenty of information prior to arrival. Room was very spacious, modern and well equipped. Everything was in good order and clean. Would recommend and will hopefully be staying again on my return journey/"

"Great hotel in the heart of Iper. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast included and a good selection on offer included a cooked option. Parking very close by for €2 euros all day. Absolutely nothing negative to say about the Ambosia Hotel. I will book again when next in Iper."
