"We had the most gorgeous time at this beautiful ryokan/onsen/resort. The setting is so calm and luxurious – I’ll never forget sitting in the (huge) window of our room in the evening and morning, watching the birdlife over the pond and river, with the snowy mountains in the distance. "Surprisingly good. I was a bit worried when reading google review, turns out this hotel became my favourite spot for the whole trip. The Onsen and food are just perfect. Onsen area is well maintained, variety of choices and clean water. Food is in room service, so you can take the time to enjoy without any distractions. Only thing is that my room is close to the elevator, but it’s quiet in general. "
