Very nice little hotel 50 meters from the beach. Extremely friendly and helpful owner and staff. I had a room ob the third floor with a nice balcony. The beds are very good. The place is kept very clean. Only small downside is that the wifi could be better.

Gutes Hotel für angenehmen Preis

Etwas in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel. Angenehme Lage. Paar Sekunden vom Strand entfernt, der sehr schön ist. Wenige Gehminuten zum Nachtmarkt und zahlreichen Restaurants und Bars. Trotzdem keinerlei Lärmbelästigung. Personal hilfsbereit aber hatte nicht so Spaß an der Arbeit. Reisebüro, Bank, Rollerverleih und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten direkt um die Ecke.

Super preisleistung und sehr zentral

Waren zwei Wochen in Summer Inn. Strand in 1 min zu Fuß (50 Bath eine Sonnenliege, super günstig) Einkaufsmöglichkeit und Restaurants sind in wenigen Schritten zu erreichen. Zimmer sind sauber und die Betten sind seeeehr gemütlich. Das einzige was fehlt ist ein Föhn und strandtücher, was uns aber auch nicht wirklich gestört hat. Personal war auch nett und hilfsbereich. Also preisleistung war top. Sehr gerne wieder :)

Wonderful Stay!

Right next to the very pleasant Lamai Beach. Location also great for massage, convenience stores and food.

Unreliable power and wifi.

Had no electricity (that means wifi, A/C, etc.) and no water (no showers or toilet flushing) from 8am - 4pm one day. Hotel does have a generator but only ran it for one hour unlike the hotel next door which ran its generator the whole day for their guests. The wifi was very unreliable even when the power was on and the front desk advised us to use next door's hotel which was unlocked.

Hotel has bed bugs! Do not stay here!

This place is disgusting. Stay here if you want your belonging infested with bed bugs. I discovered them the morning after i woke up when i saw one walking across my bed. I took pictures and video because i was so shocked and disgusted, and then i promptly informed management. She came, took a look,and then squashed the bug with her finger, leaving a bloody splotch. I was disgusted. She then called one of the workers to come and take a look after she went back to reception. He gathered up the sheets and examined the bed mattress (old, ripped, and filthy it turns out), crumpled up the bedding in a corner of the room, then left, obviously having seem them in the seams of the mattress. It was clear from her and his actions that they have dealt with bedbugs before at this place. I informed her i was going to cancel the next night's stay. She said okay and that she would give me a refund through hotels.com. What do you know, when they contacted her, she refused to refund me for any of the nights! So now you can add unethical behavior to the disgusting conditions. Hotels.com gave me a credit on their own volition because i was so furious about the whole situation. At the end of the day because of this disgusting hotel, I now have to deal with bedbugs ruining my entire trip going forward and worry about bringing them to my house. Do yourself a favor and stay far, far away from this place. I don't know how to post pictures and video; but i would if i could

Good location, but rooms in need of refurbish

The location of the hotel is great, right near the awesome night market and a very busy road where you can get food and entertainment. Still, it's set off enough from the road to be decently quiet. That is, if the central room air conditioner isn't too loud, which mine was.The service here is pretty good, with courteous staff that speak English well. Unfortunately, the hotel is just old and dated. The decor is drab, the room I was in was pretty small, and the furnishings were pretty old and abused. The controls for the lights and air condition are quite old and often analogue. The bathroom was also pretty nasty, with plenty of mildew on the tile in the shower. I would not stay here again; especially not for this price.

Sehr gutes Budged-Hotel

Hatte ein Zimmer im 1.OG mit großem Balkon, geräumigem Bad, alles sehr sauber und wohnlich ausgestattet. Der Room-Service drängelt nicht, das Zimmer wird auch noch am frühen Nachmittag gerichtet. Gegenüber zwei Komforthotels, aber mit entsprechend hohen Preisen. Zum Strand sind es nur 150 Meter, man braucht keine vielbefahrene Straße queren. Der Strand sehr sauber, da er von den größeren Hotels gepflegt wird. Abends bieten diese Hotels am Strand Candle-Light-Dinner mit Seefood-Barbecue. Das Hotel selber hat keine Strandliegen, man kann jedoch Liegen anderer Anbieter nutzen bei geringem Verzehr. Auch findet man genügend freie Plätze wo man seine Strandmatte, die das Hotel für den Gast bereithält, ausbreiten kann. Das kleine Hotel führt kein Restaurant, also auch kein Frühstück möglich. Doch es sind nur wenige Schritte zur Hauptstraße, wo man ein reichhaltiges und preiswertes Speisenangebot vorfindet. Die sehr hilfsbereite und freundliche Inhaberin hat auch ein Reisebüro auf der anderen Straßenseite wo man Touren buchen kann, Fernbus-Tickets nach Bangkok erhält und ein Motorbike mieten kann, ohne den Reisepass abgeben zu müssen. Im Zimmer war ein Safe vorhanden. Die Rezeption ist nur bis 20 Uhr besetzt, doch man wartete bis 21 Uhr mit dem Zimmerschlüssel auf meine Rückkehr, als es einmal bei einer Motorbike-Tour später wurde. Der Hotelzugang ist video-überwacht und ebenso hat die Security der Nachbarhotels den Zugang ständig im Blick. Fühlte mich sicher und würde wieder buchen.

Happy to stay here again

This is my 4th visit to Lamai Beach, but the first time I have stayed at Summer Inn, I stayed for 6 nights during February 2015. The hotel basically offers what you would call a studio apartment, which is of a good size, clean and well maintained. The location of the hotel is very good only a short walk from nightlife and less than 100m from the beach. The rooms were cleaned daily. The room had a TV which even had some of the premium channels to watch football and golf which was a bonus. The only complaint I could possibly make was the hotel didn’t provide beach towels, which they could easily do at very little additional expense. The hotel offers very good value for money accommodation, I will have no hesitation in staying at the Summer Inn on my return to Lamai Beach.

Bon rapport qualité prix bien situé à Lamai beach

Très bon rspport qualité prix. L'hotel est bien situé à proximité de la plage et de l'artère vivante de Lamai mais suffisement en retrait du bruit. Les chambres sont propres et relativement spacieuses et insonorisées.

Average hotel

The hotel rooms are very spacious and have a huge balcony. The room has a safe, TV and a mini fridge. The shower is good but the water goes everywhere in the bathroom (but this is the case with most hotels in Thailand). The sheets had stains on them. Overall if you don't want to stay at your room for a long time and just need a place to sleep you should book this hotel. the hotel is a 5 minute walk (maybe less) to the beach but this is the dirty part of the beach... there are a lot nicer areas of the beach in Koh Samui.

Basic but nice hotel good value for money.

Close to town center and night life (4 mins walk) however no noise or disturbance. No reception security after 7pm Staff very helpful and left you alone unless you needed them.

【良いところ】 部屋の内装が新しく、清潔な感じで採光がよく、気分がよい。 バスルームの採光もよく、広くてバスタブ付 ビーチまで70mくらい、ビーチチェアを貸してくれる店は教えてもらえる 適度に繁華街から離れていて、夜は静かでよく眠れる レセプションで水とコーヒーのサービスがあり、果物ナイフと皿は貸してくれた。 シュノーケルやゴザを貸してくれる（足ヒレはない） 同経営の旅行代理店で貸してくれるバイクが新しく、遠出するのに不安が少ない 洗濯屋、コンビニ至近、マンゴーをカットして売ってくれる屋台が近所にあって便利 【知っておけば準備できること】 ドライヤーは無い（貸してくれるかどうか未確認） ルームキーを抜くと冷蔵庫以外の電源がオフになり、3階の部屋は暑いので、2階か1階がいいと思うが、繁盛している宿なので、部屋のリクエストは通りにくいと思う フェイスタオルと歯ブラシは無いので持参したほうが快適、石鹸とシャンプーはある ミニバスの運転手が場所を知らない場合があるので、宿の人の携帯番号を聞いておけば安心
