Relaxing stay close to everything!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Butterfly Garden Villa. David and his wife were great hosts, providing transportation and information as needed. We enjoyed the beach, which is a 15 minute walk away as well as tours at the Elephant sanctuary, snorkeling boat trip, and so much more.

The perfect stay in a secluded villa

We absolutely loved our stay here. We were a group of 7 and stayed for 6 nights and easily could have stayed here longer. The property owner was very helpful and prompt with responses to any questions prior and during our stay. Having the car was a god send, as the property is a solid 20 minute walk from any convenience store, and not walking distance to main town. It also allowed us to explore parts of the island we wouldn’t have gone otherwise. Despite the house being out of town, it was perfect for us. The house was super spacious, the outdoor area had lots of space to sit outside, eat and go in the pool, there is also a seperate outdoor rooftop space that we used for Pilates in the mornings. The lounge room and kitchen area had plenty of amenities. Two of the beds were very comfy, however the other two were a little bit harder. And all the pillows were different so some were a little uncomfortable. The bathrooms also did get very wet as the shower is open, but that’s pretty common in Asia. Overall our stay was incredible and we would 100% come back, the place doesn’t have many reviews yet, but it does on other booking platforms.

Feels like Paradise!

Butterfly Garden Villa is very beautiful! It is a superb Villa and I can't recommend it highly enough. From when we walked into the Villa on our arrival in the evening time we were bowled over. It has been wonderfully created by David, with that fantastic tropical feel. There are lots of beautiful different areas to sit both in and outside the Villa and it is so very peaceful. The Villa was superbly keen. David the owner, and all his staff, were extremely helpful, and it was great to be picked up on arrival. The photos on the website gives a very good idea of the Villa, but it is actually superior to the photos. Eating out was fantastic. There are some friendly good restaurants nearby to walk to and I loved to do that in the evenings. It's a nice peaceful area, but very close also to lots of things we wanted to do. I enjoyed going to Laem Sett beach, watching the fisherman go out, and spending a couple of hours at Cool Bar on the beach. I can't recommend Butterfly Garden Villa highly enough. It is an absolute treasure to stay in. I will be back!'

Quiet and scenic area with no traffic or crowds. Excellent restaurants within walking distance. Car is provided, so we were able to visit other areas of the island. Great vacation home with lots of room to relax and enjoy. Loved the pool area! Dave was a fantastic host and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Ed

A Perfect getaway

We had a fantastic time at this lovely house. It was quiet and so comfortable for the 7 of us. We hibernated at this end of the island enjoying the tranquility of the outside pool area. We loved the close proximity of great restaurants and were regulars at The Cool Bar. We left the day before an intense storm hit the island and we are keeping our fingers crossed that the house and surrounding environs came out safely. We would very much like to return! Dave was a a great host and the round trip pick up and drop off was such a bonus!

Tranquil and stunning villa.

We had a fabulous holiday at the Butterfly Garden Villa. The villa was very spacious and even better than the pictures. It is set in a peaceful location which is private however just a short drive to restaurants, shops and the beach. Dave is an excellent host. He was waiting to greet us at the airport, driving us to our villa showing us all the local sights on the way. He has a vast knowledge of the area especially restaurants which we found really helpful and tried several of his recommendations. Dave supplied a car with the villa which is great for getting around and seeing the island. Can`t recommend this villa and Dave highly enough and would love to go back.

Beautiful, extremely spacious villa with privacy to all 4 Bedrooms

We stayed at the Villa for 2 weeks. The owner was very helpful and went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable. The villa is in a very quite area but only 10 min from Lamai and there is a 7 Eleven and great restaurants only 2 min away by car (which comes with the Villa). The pool area is incredible , the kids loved it and the bedrooms and living space are very spacious and adequate for more than one family sharing the Villa together. We did not like the fact that there was no A/C in the living room and no TV's in the bedrooms and were slightly dissapointed from the local beach, mainly since the morning's low tides push the water too far away.
