Very cool sculptures and wood decor. Headed outside towards our room and you're hit with pure paradise. Huge green lawn, a beautiful pool and then the ocean! We loved our room but there were a few things that definitely need looking into...the smell of sewer coming from the bathroom, the flooding in the bathroom when you drain the water out of the bathtub and the smell of mold near the headboard of the bed. Other than that we loved our stay at The Aloha and would definitely go back.

Et hotell med stort potensiale, men der må litt oppgraderingertil
Hotellet har et stort pontensial, men hotellet har behov for en oppgradering. Vi var veldig fornød med at de oppgraderte rommet vår. Da det første rommet vi fikk var inneklemt og hadde lite sjøutsikt. Vi bodde her i 6 dager. Frokosten var ikke så bra, kom du til frokost kl0930 så var der ikke store utvalget og nytt ble ikke satt ut. Til tross at der ikke var mange gjester. Etter at vi hadde vært der et par dager så begynte personalet å rydde stranden for søppet som hadde kommet inn til land i løpet av natten. Dette er et positivt tiltak som vi satte pris på. Alt i alt så hadde vi et bra opphold.

The resort was surprisingly quiet - we were there in September so partly it was due to the season, but it seemed that the hotel has probably seen better days. That being said, it had a great view, the room was spacious, staff were friendly and helpful, and it felt super safe. The pool area is nice and clean, even if the chairs were a bit old. Overall, as others have said, the hotel could probably use a refresh. However it's good value for money, in an excellent location whether you're walking or have a scooter (close to things but still quiet), and I'd recommend it.

Great potential
this hotel has great potential to be even better if they fix the simple little things. overall a very beautiful hotel with a good location. beautiful garden and pool area, hotel with a beautiful sandy beach by the sea (most of the time big waves, not suitable for small children). the rooms are comfortable (the air conditioner is a little noisy), the breakfast is sufficient. Hotel is a bit outdated, but repairs are being made on an ongoing basis. The covid era has left its mark. annoying little things, like cleaning cloths on a tree by the pool, a rusty carden cart between the sunbeds, old sunbeds and rusty parabols, garden tools in a pile in the pool area by a tree, some trash in the yard, repair and construction debris in a visible place, etc. things that guests should not see. nothing too bad at all. garbage washed onto the beautiful sandy beach should be collected more often. I saw that it was more the tourists themselves than the hotel staff who were doing it. but if the hotel paid more attention to these little things, it would have the potential to be an even better hotel. why not 4 stars. we stayed with my wife for 2 weeks and we were satisfied. I dare to recommend.

Great Location & Beach
a mini staycation in Lamai. Great location on beach, nice pool & deck area. Parked scooter at front entrance. Rooms are dated, tired but clean. Property would be really nice if renovated. Good breakfast buffet with omelet station. Staff are really friendly. A five minute walk into town with plenty of restaurants & bars. One of the nicest beaches we found on Koh Samui. If your not expecting 5 * it is a great location for price paid with breakfast. We had a sea view room with balcony on ground floor- we enjoyed our stay.

The position of the hotel was great. The draw back was we had no hot water for the first couple of days of our stay. The staff were excellent and the room we had was amazing. 5 steps from the door and we were on the beach.

Rigtig godt hotel. Flot og ren pool i flotte omgivelser. Lige ved stranden, man kan dog ofte ikke bade på stranden grundet bølger. Restauranten er utrolig dårlig. Men der er rigtig gode restauranter lige udenfor hotellet.

Плюсов у этого отеля мало, но они есть - 1 линия, лежаки напротив моря и завтраки, голодными не были. На этом все. Номера старые, очень маленькие. Номера для курящих отсутствуют, отдыхающим приходится курить втихаря на балконе, опасаясь, что увидят и выпишут штраф. Рядом с отелем нет фруктовых лавок, до ближайшей идти пешком минут 25. Без байка сложно.

Thank you for your review. You can smoke at the pool side or near the front desk which we had provide the smoking area and you can buy the varieties fruit at Makro food shop is just walk 5-10 minutes from the hotel.

хороший отель, просторные номера с видом на океан, можно плавать и в бассейне и в океане, в отеле сделали ремонт, теперь стал очень хороший сигнал вайфай, в номерах, у бассейна и , даже, у самой воды. Если бы ещё огородили зону для купания сеткой от медуз, как в соседнем отеле, было бы совсем хорошо. Ламаи бич самый удобный для купания на всём острове, всегда есть вода.

Not a stay, a SENTENCE. AVOID!
Truly wretched. Dirty. Inattentive staff, total disregard for guests needs or requests. After getting charged 70% over the agoda price (which costs THEM money because the have to.pay a reseller.... I brought it to their attention, and received a smug look (stupid farang) and a sneering "som nom na" Translaton: It serves you right. When I pointed out that 2 of the three ceiling ligh5s were dead? I was told the stupendous, and equally disprovable lie that those were "emergency lights" that come on when there is a power outage. Yeah. And why does this switch, which is running to the fixture, do nothing? Even more fun was swapping out the dead bulb with a live one i pilfered from the lobby. Guess what? It worked. The most fun was when there was an ACTUAL POWER OUTAGE and I demanded to know why those emergency lights hadn't kicked on. They must have been fresh out of lies and laziness, because all I got was a glare from the sourpuss, rude nasty old woman at the desk. Thai hate getting caught in a lie. So they just ignore reality and pretend it never happened. And sneer at the person wjo had the temerity to catch them lying. Honestly, if this place caught fire and burned to the ground it would boost the hospitality industry in Lamai exponentially.

Godt hotel til pengene.
Ligger perfekt ned til stranden og der er stille og roligt. Skøn pool og smilene medarbejdere. Især rengøringsmedarbejderne gør et stort stykke arbejde og sørgede altid for at værelset var gjort i stand, når man kom tilbage fra morgenmaden. Et hotel der kan anbefales i forhold til prisen.

Slitet ställe med för hårda sängar, för tjocka/ hårda kuddar, absolut inte tillräckligt med solstolar/ madrasser/ parasoll som dessutom var i dåligt skick. AC som lät väldigt högt (fläkten), personalen var bra. Massor med ryssar på hotellet (ca 80% enligt annan resenär/ personal)

Номер маленький, из-за этого очень душно даже с открытым балконом и включенным кондиционером. Вечером с открытыми окнами шумно из-за работающих рядом баров. Завтрак неплохой, есть лежаки рядом с бассейном и пляжем, свой выход к пляжу. В номерах не ловит wi-fi, только в зоне ресепшен. Нет лифта, если проблемы с коленями выбирайте первый этаж, или другой отель.

This property looks great from the beach and that is it. The chairs are right along the pool and and sand. The rooms are stall and smell of mold had to be moved 2 times. I finally gave up and asked Expedia to move me to a new hotel for the next couple nights. The Wi-Fi does not work In any of the rooms. Hello 2018 here. You have to go down to the lobby to use the Wi-Fi. Definitely do not recommend this hotel.

Hotel ok apartments awful
Hotel is ok just have to put up with ants everywhere. The apartments are awful, no electric half the time means no Internet, no ac, and cold showers in the dark. They have empty rooms at hotel but won't use them while the power is being fixed at apartments, doesn't make sense. Can get better for same rate closer to beach with fewer problems.

Kanonläge med pool i området samt strand och hav direkt utanför området. Byggnaderna på hotellområde syntes att det varit med under lång tid, väldigt slitet överallt. Balkongräcket höll på att ruttna bort. Wi-fi var en ren katastrof. Fanns teckning överallt på området men deras avsiktliga begränsning för användandet gjorde att man i stort sett var hänvisad att sitta i lobbyn för att överhuvudtaget kunna surfa.

Heruntergekommene Bruchbude !!!
Es war ein sehr einschneidendes Erlebnis im Aloha Resort ! Dreck und Müll neben dem Hoteleingang . Das Personal war sehr unbeholfen, unfreundlich und stets planlos . Der gebuchte Superior Bungalow laut schönen Internetfotos war eine schmutzige, heruntergekommene , alt abgewohnte Bruchbude ! Die Klimaanlage rauschte laut ! Ein erholsamer Schlaf war somit nicht gegeben ! Die Anlage wirkte insgesamt ungepflegt! Das Frühstück war sehr bescheidend! Durch den ständigen sehr hohen Wellengang war das Baden am Lamai Beach schier unmöglich! Der Strand war schmutzig !! BUCHEN SIE DUESES HOTEL NICHT ! Die Preise sind überteuert, dafür findet man sehr viel besseres !!
