Great location. Great views. House has everything you need. (Maybe some shampoo). Close to everything. Easy check-in check-out. We will be back soon. Dinner at The Appalachian and Season 101 for the best steaks, locally owned.

This was a perfect house for three couples. Space was great, deck and patio overlooking the water was great. Couple good sunrises. The house was very clean, and the communication with host was seamless. One of best places I have rented, and I would stay there again in a minute. Recommend without hesitation

This property was comfortable for our adult party of 4 and we enjoyed our stay. Most of our plans were in Knoxville for this trip but the property was only a short drive to town, which worked out just fine. The views from the house were wonderful and the location was very quiet. I would recommend this house for a nice quiet stay away from the city.

short drive to Knoxville

We stayed for our son's graduation from UT (go Vols). It was fantastic. You absolutely can not get a better view. The floor plan was perfect for our family. My father has mobility issues so having access to the living room, kitchen, bedroom/bathroom and deck was great for him. The Pacman machine was foosball table were neat to have also. Well-stocked kitchen was a bonus. There were not a ton of checkout instructions which is always great.

TN game weekend

My husband and I were looking for a house that was close, but not too close to Knoxville for a TN VOLS home game weekend. The house was clean, comfortable and had a great view! The Bear Cabin team responded within the hour when we had 1 TV tech issue. They made the check-in and check-out process simple. Thanks for a fun football weekend!

Great place to stay. Floors could have used a good cleaning. I like to walk barefoot when inside. But all in all it was perfect. Really enjoyed the outside seating

Not for elderly

It is a nice place, but it is missing a few things. The downstairs bedrooms do not have anywhere to place your luggage or all of those pillows when you take them off the bed unless you just put put it on the floor the bathroom downstairs don’t have large enough for anything, there’s not a chair in a room that you could sit something on. They definitely need a few more pieces of furniture. Also, there are in most every corner spiderwebs with news spiders I do understand where the property sits, but the door that go outside or not built very well there are gaps And so I guess anything can come through those gaps. The kitchen and dining room are great. I think the master bedroom was probably great. My dad who’s 90 was able was comfortable in the master bedroom I’m 69 and it was quite a chore for me I understand the stairs they were previously mentioned , it’s that there’s not a chair in our room and all of your belongings will need to go on the floor when you go to bed. The outside decks are fabulous.

If you're looking to explore East Tennessee or just relax, I recommend this property. As a frequent visitor to this part of the state, this home offers everything one can want: location, cleanliness, proximity, etc. Certainly, we plan on returning to this property in the near future.

A Hidden Gem

When we booked our stay there were only three reviews and wished there were more. We ABSOLUTELY LOVED the property! The location is perfect for attending events in Knoxville/Sevierville/Pigeon Forge. 20 min to Lindsey Nelson and Neyland stadium, 10 min to BUCEES, and 25 to Pigeon Forge. Overall this property is very clean with upgraded amenities from the multi ice compartments in the refrigerator to the digital thermostat. The decor is very modern and BEAUTIFUL! The large windows overlooking the water were breathtaking in the morning. The floor plan is perfect for families! We brought two teenagers and they loved having their own space downstairs. The games occupied their time and gave a break from electronics! We will definitely stay at the property again! Check in was very easy!

Weekend trip

Was in town for a golf tournament and UT football game. Property was exceptional. Very convenient to Island Point Golf Course, and pretty convenient to UT for football game. Restaurants not too far away in either Kodak or Strawberry Plains. Would stay here again.
