"Very helpful host who made our stay comfortable. Good kitchen with tea, coffee, sugar, drinking water and milk provided - was lovely to be able to make a cup of tea in the morning! Access to fridge. Entire building kept clean. Owner automatically topped up anything that ran low. "Excellent place. Suitable for families also. The only thing is pure vegetarian hotels are not available in the surrounding. Drinking water should be provided in the lodge."

"It was on a good location. Accessible by public transport. But no parking space. The cleanliness of the room bas average.

"Remember, this is not about a 5 star stay. This is a family home near the beach. Jimmy, his wife and his son Emile, offer a delightful, 'all we can do to help' environment. It's lovely and your not trashing the environment with loads of ultimately unnecessary extras. We had a wonderful, relaxing stay. Great home cooking...excellent trips and good aircon. Thanks guys. "

"This is a fantastic homestay location, and called "resort hotel in Thumboly" by some of the local auto drivers. I booked this on an impulse travel through hotels dot com website and fully enjoyed my stay.
The owner (Mr. George) and the manager Mr. Shibu were prompt with communication and helpful. Mr. Shibu spoke to the auto driver via my phone call and guided him correctly. Google maps does a solid job too.

"Stayed for one night as a stop over so didn't really get to explore the area but the room was lovely, large and airy. Large bed, towels and soap provided along with drinking water. A mosquito plug was provided. The bathroom was great, really clean and toilet paper was provided. The manager Shya (sorry if it is spelt wrong) was lovely, really helpful and made sure we were comfy. A booklet with things to do in the area was provided with some history of Kottayam which was nice to read.
