Ideal for a large family gathering with the indoor pool the obvious highlight. However the property was very tired with a lot of problems which continued throughout the stay. The standard of cleaning was awful. I spoke to the hosts wife to highlight the dog poo on the lawn in at least 3 places, the fact I wasn’t given an exit code to get out of the gates, the electric socket hanging off the wall in the lounge with wires exposed. There were far too many problems to keep ringing about so I listed them all to the host but have had no reply.
Other issues, empty beer bans and bottles in the garden, pizza oven outside like a large ashtray, BBQ not cleaned for ages with congealed meat hanging off the grill and filthy tongs left. A foul smelling drain in the garden that had been covered with a piece of garden furniture.
Inside 2 bedroom radiators not working one which was leaking. The washing machine leaked water everywhere, Upstairs shower not working and bath plug stuck in, no soap anywhere, no information as to how to work oven and microwave, or how to work the pool water feature or the hot tub and projector. All in all very disappointing for the high cost of rental
