Wedding Weekend with Friends and Family

Beautiful place to stay, easy care and clean up, excellent communication w/ the owners, an all around perfect place to enjoy our son's wedding. Also, hands down the best linens, mattress and pillows we've ever slept on at a vacation rental or hotel. First time I've never used the pillow I brought from home!

Great getaway!

The property was exactly as advertised and well-appointed with everything we needed. The hosts were very kind and responsive. The house is great for two families. The teenagers slept in the sunroom and had their own television and outdoor area. We had a great time and will definitely be back!

Gateway to adventure

Whole experience was amazing, house was more than we needed for our stay. We were in the area for off-road experience at Windrock adventure park and it was nice to return to the house and enjoy our company with family.Easily one of the most pleasant houses we ever booked.Richly equipped with everything, from kitchen to comfy beds etc.Owners are quick to response and very friendly.

This property is a great location for larger groups to stay if running multi-day experiments at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, which is clearly not the intended usage as it also looks like a great lake location if you like kayaking. Hosts were great and very communicative.

Our stay was great.

We had a wonderful time. This property was beautiful. There was a fenced in dog run and lots of outdoor space: even a hot tub. We practically lived on the back deck over looking the lake. I can't image a more perfect place for us. We spent most of our time at Windrock and the location was perfect. The local community had every store imaginable. And it was a relatively short ride to Gatlinburg / Pigeon Forge. When we come back to the area, I wouldn't even look for another place. The hosts were wonderful. They communicated just enough. The house had everything including 2 washer and driers. Couldn't recommend it (or them) more.

A fun place

The owners have done a nice job with this property and are continuing to improve the offering with additional features like a pontoon boat rental. They undersell what is available in the area as in golf courses for one example. My wife and I played a lot of golf while we will there - there are a lot of close by golf courses and a world class par 3 course that was a "hoot" to play. Lots of lake stuff to do and you can rent their boat for a day that some other marinas are charging for a 1/2 day! One negative is that in the afternoon rush hour traffic is a pain. One final positive is that if you have any questions the owners are very responsive.

Quiet vacation location

This home was the perfect size for our family vacation. Our grandson really enjoyed the hot tub! We had some issues while there, but the hosts stayed in touch with us and tried to resolve them.

Above expectations! Great Stay!

This short review would not be able to tell of how nice and relaxing the house and stay was. The check in and during our stay Ms. Tracy has been helpful and available if needed. The quiet neighborhood, lake in the back and birds were enjoyable. The house was clean, organized and well stocked. The coffee was very convenient and the zip lock bags were helpful on checkout. The place was clean and immaculate. What a bonus the kayaks were, my son and I took 2 out on the beautiful lake. The 2 bikes the kids used on the long driveway. The beds and couches were comfortable, the video arcade game and board games were added bonuses as well as the living rooms just relaxing with family. It was a very nice stay and we would stay there again. We were in town to visit Temple Baptist church and Crown College for a move and this home was a nice base to go exploring. Little Ponderosa Zoo in Clinton is highly recommended to visit. Thankyou so much again to Tracy !

Great getaway!

Perfect getaway with water up all year round. Good fishing even in December (caught perch and a striped bass). The most organized VRBO place we have stayed. A lot of little extras such as a stocked coffee bar (with a Keurig), fire starters for the fire pit, and marshmallow sticks. Beds were very comfortable. Highly recommend this place.

Move to Tennessee

My daughter and son- in-law moved from Dallas to Tennessee for his job. We helped them with the move and stayed longer to see Tennessee. The house was beautiful and wax supplied with everything you needed. I would definitely stay at this house again!

I will just say WOW! Amazing hosts and house!

What an immaculate house! Hosts thought of everything! So much attention paid to all the creature comforts! Beds and bedding is A+. Kayaks and paddle boards are in terrific condition and easy to take to water and launch. The lake was the hi light and we enjoyed lovely peaceful paddles in gorgeous surroundings. Conveniently close to downtown and Smokey Mountain National Park. Excellent ling weekend getaway. Coming back with rest if the family soon!
