I’m not even going to lie, this place was gorgeous. Perfect even. Until I found out about the train track upon arrival. I did not realize the fine print that described the noise advisory before booking and I really wish I would have seen that because I booked this spot for work and haven’t slept in days due to the noise. I’m from Nashville and needed to come to Knoxville to work so of course quality of sleep was essential- being so far from home. It was louder than loud. After checking in and realizing I couldn’t get a refund or go somewhere else, I was pretty bummed out. Angry. Btw, the listing states that the apartment is next to an active train track but it doesn’t say ITS DIRECTLY LOCATED AT A RAILROAD CROSSING. Without exaggeration, the bed was vibrating every time the train ran by (6-10 times daily/nightly) and the whistle of the train was extremely jarring. I’m so freakin tired. It sucks because this place was so nice. I can’t be the only person this has happened to here. I really feel like the building should be used for something else other than boarding/sleeping. I feel ripped off. I wish I could post the pictures and videos of the stay and warn others that if they want any rest at all, to NOT stay here.
