"Lots of space for people to move around and visit - some wide-open, others more intimate. Well-furnished kitchen with lots of room to cook and serve. The dining area easily sat our group. "This was a great place for two families to share a long weekend with all of our adult kids. Everyone had their own space and at the same time there were so many nice common areas to gather. We ended up with great weather, but if it hadn’t been nice outside we would’ve spent more time in the game room. Everyone enjoyed the space and great memories were made."

"We came for a family event in Dunn County, so the house in Menomonie was a good location. The property is lovely, with everything we needed. The table and chairs just outside the apartment were a great place to have coffee in the morning. We all enjoyed time on the deck by the river, and saw the eagle, and several other types of birds. "

"This is a great location for those looking to fish the Rush River and enjoy a beautiful setting. Check-in process was very simple. The hosts are friendly and accommodating. The only issue was that the listing indicated "sleeps six." However, there was one queen bed and one pull out queen. I spoke with the owner about this and he said it was a mistake in the listing.That's the only reason I didn't give full five stars for 'accuracy of online listing.' "This was an amazing house and property. The views were beautiful and the house was so spacious. Exactly what we were looking for. This was my first time using vrbo so what was posted on the website is what I expected. The only thing I was nervous about was the response time. Website stated you should get a response from the host within 48 hours but responses took days longer than that. There was always a response though and everything was fine. The people that stayed with me loved this place...

"My wife and I stayed here 3 nights as part of a longer motorcycle ride exploring this area. Everything was as described. We loved the large porch and trendy styling. It’s quiet and private. The owner Joan lives in the next house down and is everything you’d look for in a perfect host. She went above and beyond to help us with our laundry situation. The nearby town of Downsville had 3 places to eat and Menomonie is 6 miles up the road. We’d easily do this again. "

"This property is in a wonderful forested property. Beautifully mowed when we arrived. So very inviting. The bed is so comfortable. Linens and towels are soft and lush. I just wish I had more time to spend using the outdoor amenities. I can't wait to come back for another stay! "
