The house is in a great location and was kept very neat and clean. The shower drain in the 3rd floor master bedroom is backed up. I think it has been that way for some time because it already was before we used it the first time. I would stay here again.

Great location to the beach, water sports, shops and grocery stores. The pool was fantastic after a day at the beach. The balconies were beautiful and view was great! We are booking again for next year.

Loafing around in Duck

It was a wonderful house loved it!! The only problem was the beach access was difficult trying to get up and down the sand dune . It was probably one of the best houses I’ve stayed in and we have been going down to OBX for past 15 yrs . Very well stocked kitchen etc. Rooms were wonderful . Really enjoyed it .

Excellent Stay

The house was beautiful and very well stocked. The elevator was a huge bonus for my mom and was very helpful for bringing up luggage and groceries. We loved the private pool. The community was wonderful but wish we were just a little closer to the beach.

Great Place for a Family Vacation

We stayed at the property for a week. Total family members were 8, which is the right amount for a house this size. The place was very nice. Kitchen was well appointed, pool was nice size and kept perfectly clean. Our biggest complaint was that we were informed less than a month before our vacation that the elevator was not in operation and wasn't going to be working until December. Our oldest granddaughter (5YO) has CP (cerebral palsy) and we picked this property specifically because it had an elevator. There are three floors in this house with the main floor on top. It made if very hard for her to climb the stairs and made it very hard to unload our cars at the beginning of the stay. I don't understand why the elevator was not able to be repaired in a reasonable time and should have been since it was advertised as a big positive for the house. Big disappointment!!

Great location and property

Loafing around in Duck was a beautiful property. The views from the decks were amazing. The location was perfect with a short 5 minute walk to get to a gorgeous beach. The beach was not over crowded like so many beaches are because there is no public access, it is just for locals or people staying in the area. We were also just a short drive into Duck or even Corolla to the north. Because we arrived in a Saturday our drive into Duck took a lot longer than anticipated because of the amount of traffic though. During the week however, the traffic was less heavy and it was easy to get around. The house had more than enough space for our party of 8. The 4 children in our party could not get enough of the pool. It was the perfect size and the water started to warm up as the week went on. The adults really enjoyed the hot tub as well. The one downfall I would say was the lack of commodity items like dish soap, extra toilet paper, paper towel, even seasonings in the kitchen. It would have been great to have a little more of that provided to us, but we were able to buy what we needed from the store. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans and dishes though. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our time and would definitely stay here again if we are in the Duck area.

Nice week in Duck!

A very short walk to a very nice beach. House had plenty of room for our family of seven. The pool and the hot tub were great. Two refrigerators was a big plus. Overall a very good week!

Great family vacation spot!

Upon arrival everything was clean and accurate to description. House was on a gravel road with very little traffic. The house was stocked with everything we needed for a nice comfortable visit - even games for the kids! We had such a great stay and made so many memories, thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!

The house was perfect for our family and cleaned well. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Enjoyable experience and good communication with property manager. Our only issue was that the wrong code to get in the house was given to us and we are thankful we arrived before the office closed so we could get the correct code. Other than that everything was wonderful.

Family vacation 2020

The pool and elevator were heaven sent at this house. My husband has walking issues and the elevator helped him greatly. It was very hot in the beach for several days and the grandkids were happy with the pool. The house had everything we needed.

Enjoyed Loafin Around in Duck!

It was such a great time, beautiful house and would totally rent again! Loved all the amenities and liked that it was a comfortable walking distance to the beach. We fell in love with Duck! We would highly recommend this beach house to anyone looking for a great family vacation!

Perfect setting

This home was perfect for our large family group. The rooms are laid out so everyone could have their own private spots but living area large enough for everyone to gather together for socializing and meals. The kitchen was nicely stocked with dishes and cookware. The elevator was a plus for getting luggage to different levels without lugging it up the stairs. Great location with easy walk to the beach. Swimming pool area very nice. Would definitely stay here again.
