Lovely place to stay

We had a lovely stay here, Ariana was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The pool was lovely and clean and the kitchen in the villa was well equipped.

Ons verblijf lag wat hogerop en dat is altijd lekker ivm de wind. Heerlijk zwembad erbij. Was hier zeker goed vertoeven.

One of our very best family holidays. The villa was easy to find following Ariana’s instructions. It exceeded our expectations, was spacious, well maintained and equipped and had 3 lovely terraces to choose to eat/drink from. The pool area was exceptional and we spent a great deal of time there relaxing in the tranquil surroundings. Ariana was a most welcoming host and checked in on us regularly, giving the best recommendations of restaurants and places to visit. My family adored her little dog Fili. We walked into Kissamos a few times (20 minutes down and 30 minutes up). We had a car so visited many glorious beaches and coves in the area. One of our favourite excursions was hiring a boat and setting off to balos beach and gramvousa early morning and missing the crowds there. We will definitely be back, the sunsets are amazing

We really enjoyed our stay at Ariana’s place! A really spacious villa with a huge roof terrace. Nice area to sit in the shade in the morning to enjoy breakfast outside our front door. Each bedroom has a bathroom which was perfect as we were a family of four. Pool was set in a beautiful garden area with amazing views. You need a car as there is no where to walk to and there are so many areas to explore not too far away. Ariana was a wonderful host, very friendly and able to provide lots of info for places to visit. We liked our chats, she has lived in the area for a long time. We were sad to leave . The mosquito nets on the windows were a wonderful bonus ( not that we saw any during our time there ).

A HOLIDAY IN WESTERN CRETE

We three friends booked into Ariana’s Place in June 2023. The traditional stone built villa was delightful. Being fairly high up, the views over Kissamos were splendid , the rooms spacious and airy, the kitchen well equipped. The pool, surrounded by gardens and olive groves was a touch of real luxury and the walk to it was along a path strewn with beautiful flowers. The host, Ariana, was ever helpful with advice on local places, shops, best restaurants and solved any problems we met, such as printing tickets. Altogether we had a great fortnight’s holiday.

Beautiful Hideaway with Ocean view

We stayed for 5 nights in this spacious and lovely garden home tucked in the hills overlooking the sea. We had a car, which we highly recommend when staying here in Kissamos. Chania and Elafonisi Beach are a short driving distance. The host, Ariana, was very gracious and responded instantly to our every question and needs. She is very knowledgeable about Crete and she had suggested interesting places to visit and do in the area, which we followed and were glad we did. The pool is big, and surrounded with greenery. There’s a big roof patio overlooking the sea, the hillside which must have an olive farm. The vibe here is peaceful. The only negative experience was finding the house for the first time. We arrived from the ferry from Santorini at night, got lost, but Arianna kindly met us in town and showed us the way to her place. After the second day, we were able to navigate getting there. Also, getting from the parking lot to the house there are stairs. It is not for persons with mobility problems.

es war grauenhaft adrianas welt keine einweisung unfreundlich auch meinen kindern gegenüber das anwesen, also das kleine haus liegt nicht am meer ohne auto nicht zu erreichen die frau war seh unfreundlich die nachbarin hat mit tätlich angegriffen sehr unfreundlich keine einweisung kinder durften (13-14) jahre nicht ohne mir an den pool es waren andere gäste an unserem pool auch die besitzerin hat ihn mit ihrem freund benutzt alles aussen rum verdreckt müll übrall ich würde niemals mehr dieses haus buchen ich hat unser schlafzimmer kontroliert ein absoluter alptraum

A hidden gem

We absolutely loved our stay here at Arianne's. The villa is simple but perfectly formed, and the pool area is what makes this villa very special. It's peaceful, secluded, beautifully landscaped and very cretian. Arianne was up early every day to ensure the pool area was clean and ready for us to enjoy. We had the pool to ourselves which was a real treat, but there is plenty of space so wouldn't be a problem if she had other guests in the area. Arianne was the perfect host, helping us make the most of our stay with top tips and fabulous restaurant recommendations. We chose this villa because it was away from the main town, we enjoy peace and quiet and more rural locations, and this ticked that box perfectly. We love to walk, even our 7 year old took a 1.5 hour hike up to the ancient village of Polyrinia and I'd recommend taking this trip. The walk into Kissamos village initially seems a long way, but once you've done it you realise it's not as far as it first seems - 15 mins down (25 mins with a small person in tow). We used taxis to get back and further a field and they were fairly priced and reliable. Maria Beach is approx. 40 mins walk with a child, probably 30 mins on your own. We hired pedalos and jet skis here but it's also very quiet and secluded. Falasarna Beach is a must - so beautiful. Ask Arianne's advise on where to head once you get there. There are some beautiful quieter sections if you prefer things less crowded as we do. We highly recommend x

Ariana's Place ist tatsächlich ein kleines Paradies oberhalb von Kissamos. Das Herzstück ist die Pool-Anlage, die sehr gut angelegt und immer top gepflegt ist.Das Haus ist geräumig und bietet 5 Schlafplätze. Das Schlafsofa unten im Wohn-/Essraum würden wir nicht empfehlen, da es dort keine Klimaanlage gibt. Sehr gefreut haben wir uns über die Flasche Wein, die bei unserer Ankunft im Kühlschrank lag.Ariana ist eine tolle Gastgeberin. Sie hat unendlich viele sehr gute Tipps, die sie auf Nachfrage immer wieder gern zur Verfügung stellt. Ein Highlight war natürlich Fily, ihre fünf Monate alte Hundewelpen-Dame.Wir fanden auch die Gegend sehr beeindruckend, alle Traumstrände in unmittelbarer Nähe. Ein Auto ist allerdings ein Muss. Allein schon, weil das Haus sehr weit oberhalb von Kissamos liegt.

Gute Wahl

Die Unterkunft ist gemütlich und hat uns prima gefallen. Die Vermieterin wohnt ebenfalls auf dem Grundstück und kümmert sich sofort, wenn etwas sein sollte. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

La villa est conforme aux photos. Propre et bien équipée. Nous nous n'y sommes pas tout de suite bien sentis, habitué au logement plus moderne. Mais nous nous y sommes habitués et finalement le reproche serait l'accès aux terrasses depuis la cuisine en passant par l'étage des chambres. La piscine est agréable dans la nature avec l’inconvénient de présence de guêpes en nombre. Kissamos présente peu d'intérêt mais sa situation est super appréciable pour faire le tour de toutes les belles plages de l'ouest de la Crête. Un autre avantage est également la proximité du restaurant "Gramboussa" excellent et d'un rapport qualité / prix incroyable. Merci Ariana et désolé de ne pas avoir été des hôtes plus chaleureux.

Wonderful stay!

Had a wonderful week here, very peaceful, beautiful gardens and pool which we almost always had to ourselves. roof terrace with great views, great spot for some morning yoga. Villa was very well equipped and spacious. Arianne was lovely and very helpful with suggestions of places to eat and beaches to visit. About a 25 minute walk into town, 8 euros back in a taxi. Would love to return.

Idyllische Anlage mit wunderschönem Pool

Die Anlage umfasst drei unterschiedlich große Wohneinheiten, die sich einen Pool teilen. Es ist alles sehr gepflegt und liebevoll bepflanzt. Der Pool ist sauber und bietet eine Oase der Erholung. Ein Mietwagen ist zu empfehlen, da die Anlage ca. 1,5 km oberhalb von Kissamos liegt. Für Einkäufe und Ausflüge eigentlich ein Muss. Ariana, die Vermieterin, ist sehr nett und spricht auch perfekt Englisch und Deutsch. Sie wohnt auch auf der Anlage und ist sympathisch und hilfsbereit. Viele süße Katzen und Hunde unterwegs. Definitiv etwas für Tierliebhaber... Wir haben den Urlaub in der Villa sehr genossen und unsere Kinder (6 und 8 Jahre alt) waren begeistert! Gerne wieder.

Erholung pur

Wir haben uns in der Ferienwohnung ganz im Westen von Kreta sehr wohlgefühlt. Sie erstreckt sich über 2 Etagen, ist hell und großräumig. Von der Dachterrasse hat man einen fantastischen Blick über die Dächer von Kissamos und über das Meer. Die Poolanlage ist wenige Schritte entfernt , inmitten von Olivenhainen. Dieser stille Platz bietet Sonne und Schatten und war hübsch angelegt und wurde sehr gepflegt. Die freundliche Vermieterin war unaufdringlich und gab auf Nachfrage gute Tipps bzgl.Ausflugszielen, Strandauswahl und Restaurants. Es war eine rundum entspannende Zeit. Besonders lecker war der Fisch bei Maria Beach direkt am Meer.

Wunderschöner erholsamer Urlaub

Wir haben unseren Urlaub in der Ferienwohnung sehr genossen. Arianne hatte uns eine Anfahrtsbeschreibung zugesandt mit der es sehr einfach war das Anwesen zu finden. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet und es fehlt an nichts, alles sehr gepflegt und Arianne die Besitzerin hat uns mit tollen Tipps für Ausflüge, Strände und Restaurants versorgt. Wunderbar gelegen und perfekt zum Entspannen und Erholen. Ein sehr großes Anwesen mit allem, was man braucht. Das Anwesen hat eine tolle Aussicht auf die Bucht von Kissamos und zu den Traumstränden ist es nicht weit zu fahren. Unser Favorit war der Falassarna Beach, nur 14 km entfernt, mit tollem Sandstrand und es gibt dort alles was man für einen Strand braucht, von den Liegen und Sonnenschirmen, Restaurant, Toiletten und natürlich eine Dusche. Wir haben uns rundum in dem Ferienhaus sehr wohlgefühlt und werden wiederkommen. Es ist alles top und sehr schön angelegt, eben ein Platz zum Wohlfühlen. Aufgrund der Lage oben am Berg ist es auch sehr ruhig, so dass man sehr gut dem Alltagsstress entfliehen kann. Vielen Dank an Arianne und bis bald.

A réserver sans hésiter

Encore mieux que nos attentes. La maison est parfaite, la piscine magnifique, Ariana est une super hôtesse aussi disponible que discrète, très gentille. Elle a décoré l’intérieure et l’extérieure avec beaucoup de goût. L’environnement est parfait : à 2mn de Kissamos, 30mn de Falassarna et 1h de Elafonisi. Si nous avons la chance de revenir en Crête nous reviendrons sans hésiter chez Ariana.

Traumurlaub in Kissamos auf Kreta!

Wir haben unseren Urlaub in Arianes Place sehr genossen. Die Wohnung war optimal aufgeteilt. Besonders haben uns die beiden Schlafzimmer mit den beiden angrenzenden Badezimmern gefallen. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und die Räume liebevoll eingerichtet. Der Außenbereich lässt keine Wünsche offen. Für jede Tageszeit gibt es das perfekte Plätzchen. Frühstück auf der Terrasse, Kaffee am Nachmittag vor dem Haus, Abkühlen im wunderbar angelegten Pool, Sternenhimmel genießen auf der Dachterasse....Auch der Garten ist nicht nur wegen seiner Pflanzen beeindruckend. Jeden Tag entdeckt man eine neue, nett arrangierte Dekoration. Ariane hat uns mit vielen Tipps zu Ausflügen, Aktivitäten und Restaurants zur Seite gestanden. Erholsamer schöner Urlaub

Wir kommen wieder :-). Es war ein wunderschöner erholsamer Individual-Urlaub. Ariane hat hier eine kleine Oase der Erholung und Entschleunigung geschafffen. Die selbsterschaffene Oase top, Pool top, Unterkunft top, Bettwäschen- und Handtuchwechsel alle 4 Tage Supertop. Wir hatten das Haus mit der Dachterasse und haben das Haus sowie den wunderbaren Dachterassen-Ausblick und Sternenhimmel genossen. Leider sind die 14 Tage wie im Flug vergangen. Unsere super nette Vermieterin, Arianne hat immer eine Idee wie man den Tag verbringen kann und steht mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Bis demnächst Liebe Grüße Andi, Nici und Nick

Wundervolles Meer, wundervolles Kreta

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt auf Kreta in Arianas Ferienwohnung sehr genossen. Der Garten und der Pool sind traumhaft. Bis Kissamos sind es mit dem Auto nur wenige Minuten. Dort findet man alles, was man als Urlauber benötigt, ohne von touristischer Massenabfertigung erschlagen zu werden. Ariana ist eine sehr zuvorkommende und freundliche Vermieterin, die uns mit einer großen Zahl an sehr guten Tipps zu Zielen in der Umgebung versorgt hat. Die Strände in Westkreta - gerade die kleinen (Danke, Ariana) - sind wundervoll. Sehr zu empfehlen ist auch eine Bootsfahrt „mit dem kleinen Boot“ nach Balos - einfach Ariana fragen! Wir werden die Ferienwohnung in jedem Fall weiterempfehlen.

Wonderful place for our family

The villa was perfect for our family of 5, and we loved the shared pool area. It was nice to have a few other guests and Ariana around, so we had the feeling of remoteness and peace, but we weren't totally alone. Ariana was very helpful with recommending restaurants or beaches, whatever questions we had. Our kids loved playing on the roof top deck when the sun cooled off - we had an amazing view to enjoy! The sleeping arrangements were perfect for us (3 twin beds for the kids), the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed; there was even a fridge at the pool area that guests could use. The pool was about a 10 second walk from our villa, but it seemed private and secluded because of the beautiful surrounding gardens. We loved watching and listening to the sheep and goats roaming the nearby areas. We also appreciated the air conditioning in the bedrooms! Lovely place. Thanks for having us!

Super Adresse

Sehr schöne Woche auf einem wunderbaren Inseln. Ariana ist sehr freundlich und hat uns super Tipps gegeben. Das Haus ist wie beschrieben. Sehr schön und sehr gemütlich. Die Terrasse auf dem Dach ist abends ein Traum und nach einem Tag am Strand oder einer langen Wanderung ist der Pool genau richtig! Vielen vielen Dank.

Accogliente e tranquillo

Appartamento autonomo con dotazioni essenziali con spazi esterni ampi, sia esclusivi che comuni. Immersi nella natura e con un bellissimo giardino. Peccato per l'accesso alla proprietà un po' trascurato. Da consigliare

Einfach schön! Wirklich der perfekte Ort zum Entspannen!

Wir haben zu Viert 2 wunderbare Wochen dort verbracht. Die Dachterrasse ist einzigartig, wir haben die sehr genossen: früh schon zum Sonnenaufgang, um die Mittagszeit zwar zu heiß, aber ab Nachmittag und am Abend wieder ein schöner Aufenthaltsort. In der Dunkelheit da oben liegen und den Sternenhimmel bewundern!!! Arianne ist eine wunderbare Gastgeberin! Sehr empfehlenswert!
