    Delaware Canal State Park
    5 min en auto - 3.9 km
  • Ringing rocks county park is mostly known for its field of boulders, that, when struck with a hammer, ring out in a variety of tones not normally associated with rocks. For first time visitors, it's amazing, and for musically inclined people, it may hold the entirety of their interest. However, if one is to hike beyond the boulder field (fun in and of itself, rock hopping) there is a creekbed that is hewn into the side of the hill, cascading across a variety of stone waterfalls. Hiking north along these beautiful steps brings you to this, the largest waterfall in Bucks County. The park is, without a doubt, one of my favorite places in the county, and perhaps the state. A great place to spend an afternoon.

This was by far the best VRBO experience I’ve had! Everything was very clean and it was such a relaxing getaway. The hot tub was my favorite part, but it was so nice to have outdoor area to throw axes, have a fire, grill out, and enjoy the quiet! Inside, the room was very spacious and gave us everything we needed for our stay. This was the best equipped room I’ve stayed in! 100% would recommend this place, everything about it was phenomenal. We felt very welcome with how kind and accommodating the hosts were!

We had a wonderful stay, it was peaceful and rejuvenating. Everything is spotless and exactly as described. We wanted to mention that all the incredibly thoughtful touches throughout the apartment, patio and yard show how much love the owners put into this place . We will definitely be back.

Perfect getaway

Came here with friends over the holiday and was just what we needed. Grilling, tubing, relaxing in the jacuzzi and by the campfire. Hosts were very warm and responsive and made the check in/out process a breeze with detailed information. Two adorable cats came by and made friends. Air conditioner worked perfectly. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to get away for a few days.

My first getaway in seven years

This is my first time away from home in seven years I thoroughly enjoyed myself, my partner, and I had a great time place was fabulous, immaculately, clean, and fully equipped with everything you would need. The bed was super comfortable, and I might add we slept in the king size bed, but there was also a queen size bed that was just as comfortable. There was nothing left to the imagination that you would possibly need. We just brought our own food and we went out for dinner. The hot tub was fabulous. I would stay there again without a doubt.

Peaceful getaway

Everything we needed for a comfortable & relaxing weekend. Exactly as described! Needed nothing. I was a little skeptical about being in an apartment of a house but you would never know anyone else was there. Sweet little white cat always gave a welcomed purr. Don't get me started on the king bed. Best I've slept in a long time!

My ABSOLUTE FAVORITE ZEN Place!!

I’ve stayed at many short vacation spots these past few years and honestly, this is the first time I’m writing a review. Because I had never had hosts show they genuinely care in the ways that Jaymie and Travis did… The space is flawless and the Hot tub Divine!!! Their meticulous attention to detail makes it feel like HOME- But, better!!!… so much so, that I rebooked immediately after arriving home!!

Wonderful Trip!

The cat greeted us and we assumed (he/she) was the owner and led us to our room, where the key was available on the handle. We then unpacked and found little gifts for us which was exciting, then we enjoyed the fresh air and a dip in the hot tub! Wonderful trip definitely will stay again!

Sweet little hideaway.

The place was great. Loved the hot tub right outside our front door. The cat was the highlight for us... chatty and so, so sweet. Made our stay! 😊 We'll definitely be back on our next visit to the area.

Perfect!

Jaymie and Travis are the perfect hosts. The property is beautiful and relaxing. My daughter loved feeding the chickens in the morning. Jaymie provided so many small extras that made our stay wonderful. I cant wait to go back and spend more than a weekend. I would definitely stay here again. Secluded and quiet area. All the amenities to feel like home away from home. Very clean and well furnished place. The hot tub was extra and very nice at the end of a long day.

The house was in a very cool area. Owners were great, my wife ended up being on crutches for the trip so they bought a ramp for the stairs to make her access to the house easier. My 2 boys loved chickens. We will be back! Thanks again!

Perfect Sister Getaway

My sister and I stayed here while attending a comedy event at Wind Creek Event Center. The apartment was spacious and was the perfect home away from home. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you need. We enjoyed the fire and the hot tub was amazing. Will definitely stay here again when we attend another event at Wind Creek. So much better than a hotel and way more space and charm!!

Perfect location for an easy escape from the city

We were looking for an easy escape from the NYC Metro Area for Labor Day Weekend and found this place, which was a quick, stress-free shot across 78 from our home. The unit was spotless, the kitchen well-appointed, and (my favorite part) the covered outdoor patio (including hot tub and gas grill) was warm and welcoming. It’s an easy drive to picturesque river towns in Bucks County and Hunterdon County, NJ or you can just chill and enjoy the peace and quiet in a beautiful location. The owners are a lovely young family who live on-site but you wouldn’t know it because they are respectful of guests’ privacy and unobtrusive (unless, in our case, you choose to hang with them and their pets which we did one evening). It was EXACTLY what we were looking for in a weekend respite from the frenetic pace of our lives.

Perfect Getaway Spot

Had a girls weekend and this was the perfect spot for a cozy and relaxing trip! It was such a peaceful place and close to New Hope and Lambertville as well for things to do if wanted!

Quiet getaway

This rental was perfect if you are looking for some peace and quiet. My boyfriend and I had a very relaxing time the outside patio with a hot tub was amazing! The rental was very clean and homey. Definitely would recommend!

What a sweet little getaway!! The apartment is so clean and well maintained. The hot tub is such a nice little feature. The owners are very accommodating. We will absolutely be coming back to this property!! Highly highly recommend!!!
