"Great Stay! I was a little concerned with past reviews but figured out that the bad reviews were from the previous hotel. This is a newly taken over Home 2 and what you’d expect from a great Hilton family! It is exactly what we were looking for! Beautiful Oceanfront room with a balcony, kitchenette and easy parking! Room was clean and staff was amazing! We will be back anytime we are in the Outer Banks area!"

"Quaint 1930s hotel with rocking chair porches, and well-appointed rooms. I was pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem. Comes with breakfast, centrally located near beaches, shopping, and attractions. Communication was excellent, and staff was friendly and helpful. Keyless entry was smooth and uncomplicated. Definitely recommend!"

"No one to greet us upon arrival, saw very few staff. Clean room, lots of shops nearby. Great kitchen, pleased with the room, enjoyed my stay."

"They are unable to accommodate the handicapped. Refuse to help. They blame Expedia and in turn Expedia blames them. Got nowhere talking to either party. Had to go out and buy a suction bath handle just to get into the shower. If you are handicapped stay as far away from this place as possible. They do not care about you. You give them all the money up front and they couldn’t care less about you. There is no office to go to if you have problems. Worse Experience Ever!!! WE WILL NEVER BE BACK!!!!!"

"The room, bathroom, and kitchenette, was incredibly clean. We had everything we needed, from dishes to a great supply of linens. With the location being so close to the beach, the humidifier helped a great deal. The location is perfect as it’s directly across from Jennette’s pier/beach access so you really park your car at the hotel and not have to worry about trying to find a public beach access…and it’s perfect for catching a sunrise. "I know it’s an older hotel but she needs some upgrades. Front and back door doesn’t shut all the way. No ventilation in the bathroom. Bathroom is really really old. The view was beautiful no doubt. Parking isn’t the best- narrow spots and limited spaces. Lamps are really old in the room. The ones in the wall aren’t stable and the lamp shades look 20 years old. Good place to lay your head if you plan on spending more time outside the room than in. Beach access is directly behind you if reserving...
