Fabulous OG kiwi bach. Our second stay here. Can’t recommend it highly enough. Close to the lake and the shop, as well as the walking tracks.

Great place for weekend seeing family in Taupo. Quiet & homely & comfortable. Noisy rattle on roof in wind & waterfalls from gutters in rain unfortunately.

Fabulous stay at an immaculate traditional kiwi bach. We were so impressed by the location, cleanliness and how the property met our every need. Our host was easily contactable and the ease of access was brilliant.

Great location in a classic kiwi bach
Simple kiwi bach which had all we needed. Close to the lake and the shop as well as having easy access to the walking/cycling trails in the area. We'll be back!

Everything anyone should need. Very spacious for a 2 bedroom place. Clean, tidy and comfortable. 2nd time we have stayed here and will definately be back. Thanks heaps for the use of your property

The Cottage
Enjoyed as always this delightful old world setting. Ticks every box for us with great access to the beach walkways-a stroll to the store -and on the door step world class mountainbiking-tramps and access to the lake and Western Bays with Taupo a short drive away . Ready to go again -and thanks to the host.

This is a lovely 1970 bach that has everything you need for your stay. Very comfortable and tidy. It is attached to another unit that shares the section. Close to lake and walking/cycle tracks.

The location was great, closes to the lake and MTB rides.
The property was not the cleanest. Had to share with spiders and other insects. The only thing in the house that was full was the fly spray, all other cleaning products were empty dishwashing liquid etc. The house was very hot no air con. which made sleeping very difficult.

Sorry to hear you found the place not to be clean. We will certainly follow this up with our cleaners. If you had let us know that the place needed restocking with any basics we would have taken care of it as mentioned in the Bach instructions. All the best

Cute and close to the lake
The Bach was everything you need for a short or long break. Fully equipped kitchen with a large fridge/freezer and good bathroom/laundry facilities. Plenty of chairs and dining table for meals. We used the front yard to play badminton and volleyball.

Old world immaculately presented cottage in prime location Ticked every box for us and having been a regular visitor and former bach owner at Kinloch for many decades the stay was memorable and allowed easy access to every outdoor activity you could want from worldclass MTB through tranquil lakeside ramble and stunning vista Hope to return

A little gem.
This little gem encapsulated a trip back to the 1960's. Absolutely delightful bach, handy to everything in Kinloch and surrounding areas. Everything we needed for a quiet weekend. Recommend the K2K Cycle trail. Lew Dickie

Everything you need for a relaxing weekend away
This cute little retro bach is in a great location, close to the lake, the MTB trails and is on a quiet street. Beds very comfortable and kitchen was well equipped. Thanks for sharing your holiday home with us.
