"The best experience we’ve had in Japan! Great staff really supportive. The temple is beautiful and the rooms amazing and comfortable. The dinner and breakfast are vegetarian/vegan but surprisingly delicious. Would definitely recommend and complement with a night tour to the Pkonoin cementery."

"We absolutely loved our stay. Staff was so courteous and helpful. The rooms were clean and spacious. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was great. We hope to be back! The area is so beautiful. Be sure to hike over to the waterfalls and hopefully see some wild monkeys."

"Really loved this stay! I arrived early to drop off my luggage, the staff helped me to check in early (although rooms are only available at 3pm still) and even helped to move my luggage to my room by the time I came back. The staff will guide you step by step on the hotel facilities and to your room, you can even choose the type of pillow for you futon. The dinner is kaiseki type and the staff will bring each dish course by course, explaining to you how to eat each dish. I had mine at the...

"Awesome experience, love it!"
