Handy local amenities' at Kington and not far too Hereford for Museums', Art and History and many beautiful rivers. The property itself is charming and extremely comfortable. "We booked a last minute break to escape the fireworks as our dog is petrified - it was so quiet here, it was perfect.The hosts were lovely and the welcome package was also a lovely surprise - tea bags, sugar, coffee, biscuits.The accommodation was spotlessly clean, there were others in the adjacent and next door accommodation but you would never know.Its in close proximity to Hay on Wye, hopefully we will return so we can explore more of the surrounding area.All in all we had a lovely short...

"We didn’t have hot water for our stay but the weather was nice all weekend so not too much of an issue. Never received the email with the check in number but thankfully the golf course staff were very helpful nearby. Overall it was well priced and in a great location for easy access to Hereford whilst still being in the countryside. Very peaceful location and friendly neighbours. Our two dogs had a great time staying there too!"

"We had a fantastic stay and really enjoyed our time at the kingfisher Shepherds hut. If your looking to stay please bare in mind that the hut is very small, there is very limited kitchen supplies, ie no oven, microwave or decent sized freezer. Unfortunately lots of flys got into our hut which we had to sleep with as we had no repellent and no nets were provided. It is a bit of a faff having to heat your own hot tub and sauna, building the fire and keeping it alight for atleast 2hrs is hard work...

"We had a great short break at The Cottage. It has everything you could need, kitchen very well equipped, comfortable bed and thoughtful touches such as the automatic nightlights. The location is very peaceful. We were very lucky on our arrival day that the weather was amazing and we had a lovely time sitting in the pretty, tranquil garden watching birds and butterflies and then listening to an owl once it went dark. Definitely coming back!"

The accommodation is set in a wonderful garden, which is currently a celebration of seasonal colours ,and we were greeted by a very hospitable owner, who made us feel welcome and comfortable.
