Upon arrival, the staff was polite. The place was not as expected, and we experienced poor communication. We reached out multiple times via Expedia and WhatsApp, and our messages were seen, but we haven't received a reply. The host only ever reached out when I made contact with Expedia/Vrbo re the problems we had. The property lacked presentability overall: the pool was dirty with sediment at the bottom and foggy water, unsuitable for swimming; AC vents were filthy, causing headaches, stuffy noses, and runny eyes for most of us; bathroom curtains were unclean, and all curtains were transparent, offering no privacy from the kitchen to the rooms. The kitchen had grease buildup on the stovetop and behind the stove, unclean cupboards, and one room closet with insect feces or dead insect remains, and burnt-out, malfunctioning plugs. Additional issues included a malfunctioning toilet plumbing system (with no plunger provided), no proper broom in the house (which we had to request), dusty rooms, especially beside the bed, dusty bedside lamps, AC sculpture figures, lizards roaming freely, and cobwebs near the AC. Luckily, we walked without our own games, because even the property's games were dusty. It was so uninviting. When the matter was reported, the pool was so-called "being cleaned" while we were there, and it did not make a difference. Even at 1 point, two (2) unknown persons came through the gate to the property manager/host. We weren't aware of that. It was like a big "yaad"
