The Snug is adorable. If you ever need a house for a girls' trip, this house is perfect. The layout is great, and the host has done a phenomenal job stocking the property with everything you would want for a fun vacation.

Beautiful Lake Home

We had a wonderful stay with family and friends! The home is adorable and comes well equipped with everything you need. The location is perfect and beautiful. Our family loved being right on the lake where we could easily fish and swim. We would definitely return for another stay.

Stylish and relaxing

Jason's house was such a treat for our girls trip. The house is super stylish and was sparkling clean. It's well-equipped with everything you need for a wonderful weekend away!

Great place for families!

Our family and friends had such a good time staying at this house. We loved swimming off the dock. It's perfect for a boat rental. Our kids and their friends had their own space to hang out upstairs. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook for large groups. I would definitely stay here again.

Stylish Fun Spot

Very hip & colorful home & perfect for a family of 6-8 or 2 couples with kids. Just about everything you'd need or want in the home. Very accommodating owners & great location on LBJ. This was our second stay & we'll be back again!

Perfect Vacation Rental

Jason was the most welcome property manager for this gorgeous property. Our first family vacation, we had friends come with us and the location did not disappoint! It had a big enough kitchen for us to cook, a grill for steaks, and we sat outside to enjoy the night sky. We had a boat pick us up at the dock on the property and it was super easy for all of us to get on and off as we pleased. We will definitely be booking this property again, it was a perfect stay for us and our kids!

Super cute home on the lake with everything you need...

Our family had the perfect stay in this well cared for home. Great spot on the lake! We have some family members with food sensitivities so we don't eat out. The kitchen had absolutely everything we needed to comfortably cook all weekend long with a HEB just minutes away. Great host and super nice neighbors! We will be back!

Overall we had a great stay! The house is in a great spot of the lake and neighborhood along with being close to the grocery store. The house is in good condition and a good layout. The kitchen is very well stocked with anything you would need. The outside arae is great for a group to use regardless of if you launch a boat or not. Unfortunately, the boat lift would not accommodate our Mastercraft X45 but otherwise the doc was great! We will consider staying here again!

PERFECTION

We’ve been staying at houses in Kingsland for 20 years and this is by far our favorite! My husband, sister, and I stayed at The Snug for 3 nights with our kids and their friends- 7 teens total. The house exceeded our expectations in every way- it’s just so charming!!! The finishes, furniture, and linens are all high quality. The kitchen is huge and had everything we needed to cook meals and feed a large group. The teens loved the bunk room and having a living space of their own upstairs. We definitely plan on staying here again.

Loved this house!

This was my favorite place that we’ve ever stayed on Lake LBJ. It was so nicely decorated and it had EVERYTHING that you need. The house was fully stocked with dishes, paper towels, toilet paper cleaning supplies, shampoo and body soap, towels for showering, towels for the lake, games, wine glasses, portable speaker, Lily pad for the kids, floats for the kids, everything! When traveling with kids, we always have so much to bring, so this made our stay extra nice. Everything was very clean and the layout and lake views were so great! We will definitely be coming back here! The owner was also an excellent communicator.

Great Lake Getaway!!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The Lakehouse was very clean and very cozy!!! The location and amenities were great! The scenery was very calm and relaxing. The dock set-up was perfect to gather, swim, and enjoy the amazing evening sunsets as well for parking our pontoon rental boat (Splash Boat Rentals). The boat/Marina rentals is literally like 2 mins from the lakehouse and HEB is 4 mins away. The lakehouse was fully stocked with everything because I enjoy cooking as well! My boys loved the bunked beds upstairs and they also have their own loft/game room/movie room upstairs too. My wife and I enjoyed the outdoor deck in the mornings for our coffee chat. We will definitely be back and thanks so much for letting us rent this awesome lakehouse!

One of a kind gem on the lake!

This is one of those properties you don’t want to tell anyone about because you want to keep it all to yourself. Not only will you never find another rental property on Lake LBJ as unique, whimsical, interesting, comfortable, and immaculately clean, with so much thought and detail put into the house, you would also be hard pressed to find such a gracious and communicative host. This property is so well stocked with anything and everything you could possibly need and more that you didn’t even know you needed, that you could show up with nothing but your suit and have the most perfect vacation. And even though we came for the lake, we would have been in heaven never even stepping foot out of the house. We will be back again and again. Thank you Jason for your superb hospitality and for sharing this amazing home with our family.

Hidden family gem on Lake LBJ

Stayed here for a short vacation and birthday celebration with my family - and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The house was spacious, immaculate, richly appointed with everything from pantry supplies, linens and toiletries to games, lake toys, and a great little library. Cute Steve Zissou-themed decor, comfy spaces for everyone, and a gorgeous patio, dock and lake access. Thank you for a lovely stay!

great lake getaway

we stayed here for a week and couldn't have had a better stay. the house is clean, very well decorated, and has great lake access. the neighborhood's boat launch made getting on the water quick and easy. jason was quick to respond to questions during our stay. the neighbors were very friendly. we can't wait to come back.

Rarely does a home exceed expectations, this one does. Plus the dock view looking West is 100%

We loved staying at this house! It was clean, beautiful and in a great location. The owner was so helpful and easy to work with, and the home had everything we needed for a long weekend at the lake!

Outstanding property, location, owners and even neighbors!

This place is the best! The owners were very kind, got back to us with all questions very quickly and had all the little things in the house to make you feel at home. The property is decorated with a lot of character and charm. Everytime we thought we had forgotten something, we turned a corner and they had it there. The owners added many details around the house to make it a fun spot for all the kids and adults. The location on the lake is prime with plenty of fun to be had for all ages.
