From the beginning our host, Robert, made sure we had what we needed. He was proactive and made sure we knew he was there if we had questions. No issues with check in or check out…very easy.Now about the property. It was just as advertised. Between the casita, upper living area and downstairs living area, there was plenty of open areas for all to spread out and not feel crowded. Rooms were very nice and clean. Kitchen was nice as well. A tad small but just what we needed. We cooked in it 3 different times and had all the pots, pans, plates, utensils needed. Now the outdoor areas. The upper and lower decks/docks are first class. We brought kayaks but spent most our time fishing the docks day and night. Caught bass, catfish, perch and even a gaspergou!! Watched sunrises and immaculate sunsets. Had a day or so of rain but we could still be outside with the many porch coverings and seating options.Would definitely rent again. Thanks Robert!!!

Thanksgiving holiday. We decided to try something new and have Thanksgiving somewhere else. Rob and Nicole shared their home with us so we could do that. We have stayed at alot of rentals and this one had not only all the amenities (comfy beds (2 kings), large TV's with channels provided, well stocked kitchen, available spices, two fridges, 2 living areas, great fishing, totally ready for your boat, tons of usable outside space, secure area for the dogs).. on top of all that just a lovely home that you can actually relax in. We had an absolute blast watching football, fishing and cooking.. all my thanks to our attentive host and hostess for sharing their home with us. I really cant think of anything that we lacked... thank you again!

Great location for enjoying Lake LBJ. The house is set up well and easily accommodated our group. The proximity to the private boat ramp is convenient and made it easier to get on the water.

5 Star Patio

Although the house was perfect with a nice kitchen and huge living room, the Patio was the star of the show. If you enjoy hanging outside on the water then this place is for you. Catch fish off the dock or swim in your very own personal space, protected from boaters. Casita is very cool and private. The location was perfect, almost in town and a mile or two from HEB. We will be back!

Had a wonderful stay on the lake! Great communication and instructions from the owner. The house and the casita were beautiful, very clean and the property and dock were excellent. Could easily accommodate a large family or families. Tons to do on the water and the outdoor area was perfect. Beautiful sunsets every afternoon. Definitely recommend!

If we had to choose one word, it would need to be one of the following: WOW, Fantastic, Amazing, etc. Need I go on!! Take your pick.Our family of 14 loved staying here and could not come up with one negative thing to say. The 8 kids, ages 5-16 (and 6 adults) thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of the home. It worked perfectly for us. The available water “toys” were especially a great hit with the kids. All the beautiful deck/patio areas were enjoyed & well used by all of us.The host, Robert, was the absolute best. Always attentive and responsive, polite & courteous. Made every effort to make sure our needs were meet. This is definitely a must for a future stay.Thank you for helping to make this such a memorable vacation!!

Perfect Location

We always spend Thanksgiving off of Lake LBJ and have found this to be the perfect spot. The house is great, very spacious, has all the amenities one would need, and has a great view of the lake. Can't wait to book this property during the summer!

Fantastic Location

The house was perfect for our family and friends. It was very accommodating for the 8 of us with plenty of room for additional guests. The outdoor space was amazing! Location on the lake was perfect. We kayaked right from the dock over to the island. We really enjoyed sitting on the upper deck in the morning enjoying the tranquility of the lake. The owner was very responsive. I highly recommend this property for a stay at LBJ!

The lake views were great and everything was clean. We really enjoyed the decks. The only suggestion would be to update/add more dishes/mugs/glasses and cooking ware.

Nice Place. Great Location!

This house is very nice. We had 12 family members and everyone was comfortable. We rented a boat and was able to park it at the dock overnight. The host was great and had a good knowledge of the area. We will be coming back.

Stunning Views Made Family Memories

Our first impression was, WOW! This place is beautiful (and the impression didn’t change)! The lake views were outstanding! On the upper deck, you really do feel like you’re out on the water itself. Every night we enjoyed the beautiful sunsets & watched the stars come out. We rented all the water toys & enjoyed the heck out of all of them especially the water pad – it’s huge! My sons kayaked straight across the lake to a lovely inlet that was loaded with flowering lily pads, where they also saw an egret & a heron. The grandkids paddled out to the nearby sand bars several times. Every morning, we were treated to a parade of 36 geese paddling & honking their way to their daily spot. We saw numerous turtles in the water & tried our hand at fishing but didn’t even get a nibble. There is a Corn Hole game & a bowling/shuffleboard table available. The kitchen is very well stocked with appliances, pots & pans, even a cabinet full of spices! In the listing photo, the kitchen looked very small but when we arrived, I was relieved to find that it is a walk-through kitchen, but it still does get crowded with 2-3 people in there at the same time. We also used the very nice heavy duty outside grill. We tried to use everything that was available to us! We never left the house to do any other activities, except an HEB run. The owner, Rob, was very easy to work with & very responsive to any question or situation we had. We hope to come back to this beautiful lake house!

The house is on the wider part of LBJ near the island. Great views and lots of outdoor spaces to enjoy the lake. Close to town, restaurants, HEB, etc.

The communication with the owners was superb! He was always available to answer my questions. The house was exactly as described. It had 3 personal areas (upstairs, downstairs, Casita) perfect for our families! The water location is amazing! Easy to rent a boat, easy to boat to restaurants at Kingsland and an easy drive to the open water. The narrow area on which the house sits is cool to watch all the boat traffic. The docks create a nice cove for swimming for the kids, safe from passing boats. The lilly pad was a huge hit! Recommend water shoes because the 4.5' deep swim cove has rocks. Kitchen has everything you need for cooking. Grill. Keurig and coffee pot in main kitchen and casita. Fridge in kitchen and "beer fridge" in casita. Washer and dryer. Cornhole. Water toys. Beds are comfortable. AC is cold. All the TVs have modern connection(Netflix etc). The patios are stocked with chairs and tables to sit and relax at any location. The yard is fenced so I didn't have to stress about my pup. All the comforts of home on lake LBJ. Highly recommend!

Family Lake Time

LUMU was a great property for our family. Plenty of room for everyone to hang out and have fun while still having some space of their own for the needed down time. Host was easy to communicate with and accommodated our family's needs. When we needed their attention to a clogged drain, there was no hesitation to getting the drain flowing freely. This property is definitely on the repeat calendar. Thank you again to the Johnson's for our 2023 Family Lake Time.

Great Stay for Family and Friends!

What a great lakefront getaway, location, and hosts. This was the perfect house for the group - what a gem - a lakefront house with two living areas and amazing covered and uncovered decks with fantastic sunset views. So convenient to the Kingsland and Marble Falls area. A great renovated house with a nice layout for large groups and an extra casita. Amazing time fishing off the dock, laying out on the lilly pad and taking the kayaks and paddle board out. These are available at a great rate for your convenience. Appreciated the hosts availability and responsiveness for any questions we had to make it a great vacation and super easy stay. Thanks Rob!

Amazing!!

This property was perfect for our family vacation! The house was comfortable and there was plenty of room for our large family. The best part of this property is the outdoor living space, the huge deck was perfect for spending time together in the evening and watching the sunset! 10/10 will will definitely be back!!

Great family getaway at the lake!

We were looking for a last minute trip before school started. We booked this house the same week as our trip. Rob was easy to communicate with and so accommodating, making sure everything was ready for our arrival. We had 3 families (6 adults and 5 kids ranging 10mo-3) this house was perfect and allowed each family to have their own little area (top floor, bottom, and casita). The deck immediately off the living area was wonderful for our group and allowed us to enjoy the lake while the little ones napped. The location of the house is also great. Close to good food and a wonderful golf course nearby. It was the best trip and we plan on going back soon.
