Beautiful home

We had a great time. The pool and hot tub was very nice. The patio area was beautiful and overlooked the lake. We really enjoyed this home and its beautiful views.

The place was beautiful and spacious inside and out. So much room for our big group of ladies! Loved the pool, spa, and river access! 10/10 would recommend!

Beautiful Views and Location

Spacious house with plenty of room for your family and friends to stay and enjoy themselves. Amenities were great and location was excellent! Restaurants within walking distance and right off the main road to get to other things.

We had a great time! There were plenty of beds and space for everyone to spread out. The bunk room and game room were great escapes for the kids. Few things need fixing - the bath tub in the master bath is wobbly, the outdoor speakers didn’t work, the remotes didn’t work the tvs in the bedrooms, the floors were dirty, there were lots of spiders - even a black widow in the pool and cobwebs inside the house. Overall, it’s a good place to stay.

Summer at the lake

Beautiful home. Extremely well stocked with everything you need. Teenagers loved the pool and the pool table. Adults loved the porches and outdoor kitchen. Plenty of comfortable beds for everyone. Would stay again!

Will definitely rent this one again!

The owners were very easy to work with and the property was great! The pictures do not do justice. Excellent location with plenty of room to spread out and lots to do!

Lakefront Home

Family getaway was great. We appreciated that the host was very responsive to our needs. There was plenty of room for everyone. The house was very nice and the scenery was pleasant. Will defiantly consider this house again. Over all experience was pleasant.

Family Christmas

Our large family gathered at this beautiful home on the lake. The house was spacious and comfortable. We spent most of our time outside on the large decks overlooking the lake. Great memories, laughter and fun!

Perfect for our family vacation

Our family of six adults, two teenagers and four children thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Big Blue. There were plenty of beds, and plenty to do, from fishing to paddle boarding to swimming to playing games in a great game room. The kitchen was as spacious and well stocked. The home was clean and comfortable. We hope to come back very soon.

Great house and location but needs to be cleaned!

Location was great and host was very kind and quick to reply. The house & yard was nasty. It’s not properly maintained. Beds were broken, hot tub cover was broken, over grown weeds/grass which housed snakes, over all it was very dirty. We could see ourselves coming back only if it was properly taken care of and really cleaned.

Not Clean!

Very disappoint! Could have had a much newer and cleaner property for half the price. The couch is also so uncomfortable and the window was hanging out on the wall UPSTAIRS in the kids bunk room. Dirty socks all outside by the pool area. Most showers didn’t drain. Needs a good clean and some new furniture. The bed were comfortable.

Easter Getaway

House was beautiful and spacious, kids and family loved lay out. Our only complaint was it was filthy. Feet black and socks too if walked without shoes, microwave and toaster oven covered in food and grime. Someone spilled red wine all over bed skirt and wall and left it and windowsills filled with dust and dead bugs and kitchen table nasty with sticky residue and legs covered in food and dust. The house would be amazing with a deep cleaning !

Listing not as described

When we booked this house, we saw they had a covered dock for our boat and jet skis. Owners had their boat in there so we had to tie ours on the side. Pool waterfall didn’t work but showed on the picture that it worked. WiFi didn’t work and the code given to us to check-in didn’t work until we called the number on the email. Had been outside in the heat for a while trying to get in. This information is for anyone wanting to book this house so they’re aware of these things.

Weekend on The Lake

We arrived at the property, entered and we were extremely pleased with the lake view. We arrived just before dinner and decided to dine in. The stove had a few burners that didn't quite work well, so we contacted out host Shalla and she came right over. Unfortunately, the issue remained, but we made due. While our host was there, we made note of a few small things, but nothing to impact the great weekend we had planned. As the other couples arrived, they too were impressed with the location and the layout of the property which invites you to enjoy and relax. We brought our boat where able to tie off next to the slip as we knew it would be in use. Another issue we encountered, which we do not know if the property management was given a headsup, is that the lot under construction a few lots down had been given approval to burn the near by brush. So for a few hours we endured smoke. We chose to move forward regarding the few small things and enjoy the property. We enjoyed the hot tub, having breakfast on the decks, the gameroom, the lake, and much more. We even met the neighbors and had fun with them too. This is a great find. We definitely will stay here again.

Not exactly what was listed even though asked ahead of time

Our family decided to go on vacation in Texas this year before the unfortunate flooding took place. We checked in with the owner to see if there was any damage that we would expect to see with the recent destruction and tragedy that would affect our stay and rental. They said that there was no major damage to the home or surrounding area and that everything is in good shape and were looking forward to seeing us soon. When we got there the expected shed was completely underwater and the 2 kayaks were gone. We had to tell the owners about it. It took the entire week for them help get something for us which we did appreciate the one day rental of 3 kayaks for us, but we would have thought that they would have known. Their fire pit was gone as well. Also in the house one of the beds was broken already when our guests went to lay in it and the maintainence took over a day to come and fix it so we had to put books under it for the night. When they got there to fix it they already had the replacement bed in the closet ready to be set up because it was broken already.Lounge chairs, outsidetv,and child security latch near the water was broken. And many dead flies in the kitchen counter lights. The house itself was beautiful and pool was nice. Not sure if the cleaning/maintanence crew communicate with the owners. The owner tried to communicate as much as they could given the multiple times during the week we had to communicate. Overall, we would not come back to this location.
