The home was a log cabin and we talked about what an ideal place to have Thanksgiving dinner at the large family friendly table with a fire in the fireplace and s’mores at the fire pit! The home was spacious, quiet and had a very nice water view only a quarter mile from open water on lake LBJ. A beautiful and large front yard was great for our dogs. The home was well appointed and the four teens enjoyed the pool table and water toys. They also enjoyed a very short walk to the Dairy Queen! We had an awesome family time at the Lake LBJ Haven!! Would definitely visit again!

Golf Trip

We have a boy cousins trip every year to go play golf. We came here and played the Legends course and Lighthouse course and enjoyed the day at the property. Did a little kayaking on the lake. Very nice get together at this location.

Family Easter

Here for a funeral and Easter celebration. Unfortunately there were only two showers instead of three as listed. Overall, we loved the property and would stay here again. Great location and very nice home.

Excellent stay!

Our family of seven spent a week at this beautiful log home and everyone enjoyed it immensely. The location is right behind multiple businesses but as soon as you go through the gate and enter the huge yard it feels like you're miles away from them. The house is furnished well with large rooms and super comfortable beds. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything needed. Communication was excellent when needed and timely. Fishing was great right from the bulkhead in the yard. We were able to navigate from the main lake up the canal, tie up to the bulkhead right at the house and come in for lunch daily. Just can’t say enough about this place and we look forward to staying here again in the future.

Thankful Experience

We booked this property for our family for the Thanksgiving holiday. We really enjoyed the home and space! It is a beautiful place and very serene. We loved sitting out on the amazing porch and having coffee. I recommend this for any family!

Lake family get together

We had a wonderful time at Lake LBJ Haven. It was perfect for our big family. There was plenty of room for us to hang out inside and out. The grounds were spacious and well kept, and we loved sitting outside on the patio. There are lots of places to sit and hang out. The house is located right behind Dairy Queen and the kids liked that they could walk over and get ice cream. We rented a pontoon and it was a little difficult turning it around and docking it in the small channel where the house is located. My husband is really experienced with driving a boat, so this wasn’t a problem. Just pointing it out in case someone else isn’t. This is mentioned in the booking explanation when it says it has a dock for small boats and jet skis. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again!

Nana’s 60th birthday and hike up enchanted rock

We just absolutely love the kitchen and the outdoor grassy area with the kayaks and the porches. It felt very secluded and fun we had just a wonderful time!!!

Beautiful well maintained property.

We love this vacation house, there was a tiny bit of trouble getting into the house, but it was taken care of quickly via text message. We had a lot of fun on the lake this weekend, it's a great property and you won't be disappointed with this home.

Beautiful lake house

This house was perfect for our group of 11 adults. Plenty of room and it had everything we needed. Great location on the lake and easy access to all restaurants and grocery stores. Outside space was amazing! You can’t go wrong with this house!

Fun in the heat

House is great for big family group. Great access to the lake and use of kayaks. But 1/2 houses electricity kept going off in 106 heat. The 1/2 with AC also had the oven and frig on it. The electric guys came out and was a melted power pin with they replaced but went of again all night. The neighbors didn't seem to have this issue. We were able have some fun but coming off lake into warm house was not fun. We had AC about 1/2 the time we were there.

Quiet Getaway Weekend

Our stay was very nice. The house was great and everything was clean. It has a very nice porch to sit and enjoy outside and a very beautiful and fully fenced yard with nice grass. The neighborhood is quiet and the neighbor that we visited with was nice and friendly. Our trip was mainly just a getaway weekend to visit and barbecue and enjoy each others company, so this place was great for us.

Perfect LBJ Getaway!

This beautiful home has everything you need during your stay. The cove is very quiet with easy access to the lake! Everyone enjoyed the HUGE backyard and the wrap around patio. We will rent this place in the future!

Hidden Gem in Kingsland

We loved this secluded spot tucked away in a cove. The views were amazing, lovely big back yard with huge oak trees, perfect tie up for our boat and easy access to the lake. We will definitely return!
