Adorable, vintage little house at the water’s edge was comfy and close to everything we needed… and you can use the private dock right next door until the closest one is repaired from flood damage

We had a wonderful stay and loved the location. Our dog, Hubert, had an absolute blast and was able to run around play in the large fenced yard. The house is located on a quiet street and is on the water. We stayed on a holiday weekend and watched fireworks from the backyard, as well as people boating and playing on the water. The owner is the sweetest and checked with us to make sure we didn't need anything. It's a great little place with beautiful views. We will likely be back.

The cabin was very clean and sits on a beautiful, shaded lawn right on the Colorado River. Very peaceful and quiet and our dogs loved the big fenced back yard. Will not hesitate to book this place again!

The property was beautiful. Cottage was charming but lacked expected provisions (no salt or pepper, there were no games or reading material, the grill's ignitor didn't work but with call to your service a lighter was provided 40 minutes later. The peace was not there , with construction next door. And not expected real tranquel setting was disturbed by a great deal of boat & water sports equipment on the water. This was very much so with a boat landing immediately across the water. May be much better at another time of year when young vacationers wouldn't be so very present.

The cabin is nice and cozy. Clean. Comfy bed. The sofa and chair in the living room are super comfortable. The views from the living room are amazing. Enjoyed my coffee and book in the morning. Bring a lighter if you want to BBQ as the ignition is broken on the grill. No biggie. The dock was broken apart and we weren’t told about it. Apparently it’s getting repaired this next week so for those of you in the future it should be good. Vacasa was pretty bad on communication. They finally had a local person respond to us 22 hours later. In the end they gave us a credit of 25 a night for amenity fee refund which we were thankful for. We didn’t get to swim or enjoy the river much because no way to get in and out. But still a nice place. We caught a bunch of perch from the shore and one catfish. We would come back when the deck is fixed to enjoy fishing, swimming and kayaking on that part of it.

Wonderful Relaxing Getaway

My husband and i really needed a few days away to relax with the dogs. This place could not be more perfect. Beautiful yard, great view of the water and the dock is in great shape. Our dogs loved it and even seemed more relaxed. The kitchen was great, enough room to cook your favorite vacation meals. The place may not be new but it’s super clean and cozy. The bed is extremely comfortable and it was so quiet we slept great. We will be back as soon as possible!

Great weekend getaway

So we had trouble sleeping ...

The large pecan limb pictured above the roof actually bangs on the roof. The volume on the metal roof ranged from a kitchen pan to loud band's bass drum. Needs tree work and a landscaping cleanup.

Nice place

Water was extremely hard, couldn’t even shower with how bad it smelt.Gas grill ignition is broke but there was a lighter under the pit that I got to spark a bit and get it lit. Other than that the place was nice, we enjoyed our stay but if we were there more than one night we would have had to find a shower somewhere else

We loved how we were on the water with a private dock and beautiful back yard. The Cottage was very quaint, but needs some updating and a once thorough cleaning before quests arrive - dead bugs (better than live) laying around in the floors. Toilet needs some repair work. And where to park was a bit confusing. But overall - loved the location and the veiw on the lake!!!!

cozy but lacking

The house is pretty accurate with what is in the pictures and descriptions on the web-site. House is small but cozy, perfect for a couple. The area is pretty much as expected with many homes around, easy access to the water and not too far from town. However, as clean as the house was in the obvious areas, better cleaning was needed in corners high and low, around windows and under cabinets beds and tables due to cobwebs. The patio furniture was covered in bird droppings and spider webs. I also felt that someone from local cleaning/maintenance crew came into the house without my knowledge on two separate occasions, but when I called number to VACASA to report this, they investigated and reassured me that no body had come into the home although a large pot with a strainer was there on day one and had disappeared on day two and the house smelled strong of fresh mothballs on day three when there had been no smell prior to that. I liked the house and location but I would consider something else because of the uncomfortable feeling we got that someone may have come int while we were out, twice.

Wonderful weekend

We had a hard time finding it due to we arrived after dark and there was no light outside the house. The little house was great and we had a wonderfully relaxing weekend on the water. We brought some pool noodles and floated by the dock while our dog enjoyed the large fenced yard. Thank you!

Giant trees

We had a great time. This a beautiful lake home with giant trees! Our dog loved the huge yard and chasing after the squirrels up in the trees. We highly recommend this cottage for a couples getaway. The dock is small but works. We even caught some fish.

Lake Life

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was clean except the day bed sheets were dirty. The backyard was wonderful. Big trees, beautiful grass and on the water. Swimming was just off the dock and “riding “ the waves from the boats and jet skis was fun. They need some signage for the house and where to park. It stated to park in front of the house but we didn’t know if that was the cabin or not. A sign would help.
