The house was fine. However the description of the property had a glaring inaccuracy. It said that the house next door was being renovated. That was wrong. There is no house next door and there is major construction taking place. Be very careful renting this house. In fact I would avoid it for several months, and possibly longer. The construction noise was extremely loud even inside the house, and it started at 7:30 in the morning. The description was very misleading to say the least. If they had been honest in the description we would not have rented this house.

Comfortable getaway in excellent location on the water

Overall it was nice- well furnished, right on the water, and very comfortable. The location on the water was so lovely and beautiful. The house was quite clean, save for a few popcorn crumbs in one of the rooms upon our arrival so the cleaners just missed a spot. The kitchen was well stocked in terms of cookware, the grill worked great, and there was comfortable seating all over the property. The wifi gave out the second day and we weren't able to get that corrected, which was a little frustrating and we didn't get a response very quickly by the rental company when we inquired about a question. It was really nice to have a little paddle boat on the property that we could use (a big plus!)- in retrospect, would have been nice to have access to kayaks or canoes or paddle-boards so do arrange to rent or bring your own if you want to do any water sports. We had a very nice stay and would give it 4.5 stars if I could give an extra half star.

Great Place to Stay

Bonnie Brae is a great place to stay. I was very impressed at how clean the place was when we arrived. Lights were left on in case we arrived after dark and the air conditioner was on and it was cool in the house. My family loves the lake area, with a dock big enough for enjoying the water, whether you are in the water or just sitting by the water. This was our second time at this place, and we will be back.Great place for our family and friends.

Fourth of July 2024

We have rented houses for 2 decades and this was one of the best houses we have ever had! t was clean and furnished as advertised. We had 9 adults/teens and it was comfortable even with that size group. The dock was perfect for swimming, fishing and watching boats. The owner was easy to contact and responsive. We highly recommend this property and plan to rent it as much as possible in the future.

Bonnie Brea Stay in Kingsland

5 Brothers and Cousin's, & we get together twice a year somewhere, too Golf, Cook, and share time together. Of ALL the Rental Homes weve stayed in, this one has been the best by far! Clean, Comfortable, very well equipped kitchen. We really enjoyed our stay and appreciate all the effort put into the house.

Perfectly perfect

It’s so nice when you lease a VRBO and everything is just as you hope it will be. The house was immaculate and had great flow for our company over spring break. Also, the hosts were very kind and worked with us on early check in so that we could stock the fridge with food. I can highly recommend this home.

Great weekend at the lake

We had a close group of family and friends out for my wife's 40th birthday and overall was excellent. The adults had a lots relaxing time on the deck and the kids had a blast catching perch off the dock. Definitely helps being on the "quiet side" of the lake. Would highly recommend staying at this property.

Heaven on earth!

We are returners to this slice of heaven. I chose to go to celebrate my birthday. I was surprised to see a happy birthday balloon spread! I invited my family and we created so many more beautiful memories! I absolutely LOVE this property. It is perfect for family get always, peace and relaxation. The stores are just down the street. Everything was perfect just like my last stay and we and will definitely be returning again! You will not be disappointed! Thank you!

wonderful place for a family vacation!

We stayed for 4 nights and had a great time! The deck was nice and the dock area was perfect for watching the sun set as we floated on the giant lily pad. Bedroom set up was versatile with lots of beds to choose from. Kitchen was well stocked. Overall we loved it and can't think of a thing we would change.

Boat Rails

The boat rails along the dock need to be replaced. They are small and ineffective. This area of the lake is heavily trafficked which causes the water to become very rough. My boat did bump into the rail a couple of times causing damage to the boat. Other than that it was a very pleasant stay. Thank you very much

Great Time

We had a great time. And everything was perfect. Whoever stayed there last time did not turn off the propane and so it was hard to light the grill. You may want to give instruction on how to shut off a gas grill by turning off the propane first to bleed the lines, then turn off the knobs. We took our trash as we did not want to leave it in the trash bin since it was a lot of food and the pick up was not until Wednesday. Again, we had a great stay.

Perfect Lake Getaway

Loved the house-Picture do not do that view justice. The check in and check out process was seamless. The host was easy to communicate and provided lots of information about the area. The only reason I am giving it a 4 star instead of 5 star is I wish I could have brought my dog!

Memorial Day Weekend

The house was great! We used the back deck and boat dock a lot. It was a busy weekend on the lake, but all in all it was a great trip. We will definitely stay here again when the time comes!
